There so many different mini-games, each level has a different atmosphere and a different weapon you can play with. The story is fun and giggle worthy at times. The platforming is pretty simple, it does the trick tho. Definitely an awesome experience, just make sure to wait for a deep discount.

Then about halfway through there's a big difficulty spike and the way your character handles doesn't feel precise enough to navigate many of the trickier platforming sections.
