We referred to it internally as "Pig of Persia," in honor of Prince of Persia, the game we absurdly based it on.

unlabelledView post →Prince of Persia was a groundbreaking game for its accurate character movement back in the late 80's. To do this, the creator videotaped his own brother running and jumping on the sidewalk and then did pixel mapping frame by frame as shown here at the Strong Museum of Play

unlabelledView post →Finished The Rogue Prince of Persia. Every element works in service of its swift flow. The wall run feels like a true game-changer and what sets this roguelike apart. Once the insurmountable first run is achieved, they all blend seamlessly into a platforming paradise. Lastly, the music is sublime.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I find it interesting what choice of game it came up with, looks to be a mix of three real C64 games. Another World, Indiana Jones and Prince of Persia, however, you can now see why people frown upon using AI. It's basically scoured the internet and stole a little piece of someone else's hard work.

I remembered the moment when I was in one place, with 1 hp, fighting with 3 archers, and was able to defeat them standing in a block and trying to make them shoot each other, and when I finished off the last archer, I was just over the moon with happiness

unlabelledView post →Well ........ to begin with, this was one of my childhood favourites. Back then I completed this game about 3-5 times or so. There's nothing to not like about the game. Every camera angle, every interactive button works for what is to come. I played this after about 10 years and on the hardest setting. The traps, puzzles, historical design and absolute cinema of a story just makes me wonder how long did it take for them to research and design this game. Regardless I'll forever love and cherish…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another classic from the PS2 era, and one of my top ten games for its platforming mechanics and story. It's shorter than I remember, but it was quite fun and inspirational for someone like me who's an aspiring game developer.
