unlabelledView post →Hard to pick a favorite Redford film. All the President's Men, for obvious reasons, as a newspaperman who came of age in that era. I watch it regularly. Another one I really like is Three Days of the Condor, one of the Paranoia Films of the 1970s. A story that is now all too real.

unlabelledView post →Watching this one which is also known as Paranoia, because Lenzi’s 1969 movie Paranoia was renamed Orgasmo. And it uses the same soul-rock song. Ok my head is spinning now

unlabelledView post →Paranoia, I never felt it, but this film gives you the feeling in spades. A bittersweet film, set in the 90's, it reflects a time when people couldn't be themselves. Tom Blyth's performance is solid, and you can feel the tension rising to the point where it finally bursts. Moving film. #FilmSky

unlabelledView post →The Cushion Saw the Window is a #story about a nude webcam model who becomes afraid of her success. If it were a #movie, I'd want the song "Here To Stay" by Korn on the soundtrack. As #paranoia sets in, she turns inward and begins #writing about the cruelty of social media, moral crusaders, etc.

But besides that I've played D&D 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 5.5, Pathfinder 1 and 2, CoC, GURPS, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Traveler, Star Wars 5e, and Mini Six. I'm familiar with a lot of others through podcasts, like Paranoia, Toon, VtM, Fate Core, Fiasco, and Over The Edge.

I have seen other stuff by both directors though, and I get where folks are coming from.

I would spend the next year shooting a 40-minute film that was definitely inspired by it. I categorized my movie (which was called Paranoia) as a “surrealistic action horror comedy.”
