Trapped in their New York brownstone's panic room, a hidden chamber built as a sanctuary in the event of break-ins, newly divorced Meg Altman and her young daughter Sarah play a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with three intruders - Burnham, Raoul and Junior - during a brutal home invasion. I adore Panic Room, I respect Fight Club, etc. I just don't think there's much evidence that he is any good at *leading* a successful movie that people like, which is what they keep trying.

The film always felt like it wanted to be digital, forever stuck between eras. This almost gets it there. Also, Ian Buchanan is one of the great one-scene performances ever. Sets a whole mood.
