neutral · AI labelView post →Over Your Dead Body - latest from Jorma Taccone is an absolute blast. Jason Segel and Samara Weaving go to an isolated cabin with plans to kill each other and that’s as normal as the movie gets. Chaotic comedy that somehow is more gory than Evil Dead. Right up my alley.

neutral · AI labelView post →Tonight's film was Over Your Dead Body (2026). Really enjoyable, bloody, and funny comedy that dips a little in the middle but brings it all together brilliantly. Plus it's another addition to the list of violent comedies where Samara Weaving ends up covered in blood.

neutral · AI labelView post →Over Your Dead Body is a remake of a wild 2021 Norwegian film called The Trip, and it does a very nice job of translating the comedy / horror / action insanity for an American audience. It's so manic and energetic and gory you may need a nap after it's over.
positive · AI labelView post →It does suck that Mortal Kombat II and Over Your Dead Body sprinkled in Harry Potter references in 20 fucking 26. But not as much as those yawners sucked themselves. So.
