I still don't think this game deserves a negative review, cause it's not terrible. The 2nd is just better. So buy this if you want more of what you enjoyed in the 2nd, and you'll get an okay-ish version for more of the same type of gameplay.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fourteenth: Orcs Must Die! 3 🏹 Developed by Robot Entertainment, this is one of my personal favourite games in the collection. I highly recommend you grab a friend and experience this game together, there's nothing better then setting up a corridor of death with a friend!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starving simulator. The game gives you a bread with a bit of dirt inside and it tells you to use that ♥♥♥♥ to defend your rift crystal. After you deploy 2 freaking breads, you're out of money. As the waves come, you finally build a cool defense and BAAAM. The map is over, now you're starving again and eating ♥♥♥♥. Deal with it. Now pay money to get a new campaign with 3 or 5 maps.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun gameplay, great co-op experience. Thumbs down for archaic connectivity where if a player disconnects, there is no ability to re-join, which kills the run. Purely unacceptable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing. How take all what was good and make it worse. Weapons don't have impact and combinations matter little. Everything is more skinnier and shiny. Traps and impact is less satisfying. Levels less interesting. Story elements worse and poorly written, well it was witty now its nothing. Color pallet more bland. Weapon unlocks and boosts less visually upgraded and unnecessarily convoluted. Characters disappoint I don't like to play with either of these characters. First game and even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a fun co-op game if you can get past all the stutters. That's unreal engine for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel like the main and DLC campaigns were made by different people. In one, on the hardest difficulty, on top of having upgraded equipment, you have to sweat your ass and land headshots, whilst in the other you can clear out waves without placing any traps at all. I feel like this neatly summarises all the problems with the game, it's janky, feels unpolished, if your teammate disconnects for any reason, the game kicks you out and you can't continue from where you left off (imagine randomly…

A few games actually embrace chaos the way Orcs Must Die games do, blending third-action gameplay with tower defense, the game turns every level into a delightful exercise in overkill and intelligence. Orcs must die 3 follows the same formula as its predecessors, with a gameplay that remains as addictive and satisfying as ever. Before each battle, players construct elaborate defenses and kill rooms with spike traps,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, I just discovered OMD franchise last year (2025), to be specific OMD 3 and you know what? I fallen in love to it. Maybe it was best game ever that I discover when I'm adult (since I only play childhood game and very picky). Gameplay - 10/10 combination between tower defence (that I love) and TPS (Third Person Shooter). Various traps, various weapon and you can freely using any traps, weapon, character you want creatively. Graphic - 7/10, well the graphic is just so so but it's good…

This one by itself is +10 points, it involves learning to counter certain orcs, learning what they do and fixing mistakes. Awesome awesome. • Kewl story. • Maps are huge quality of life, with the hologram showing Orcs path, with dots in the map. • Fun to keep tinkering with the weapons or traps until you find one that you find most comfortable. •…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →And today's freebie on the Epic store is Orcs Must Die 3 - one they've given away before, but still a very fun tower defense/shooter hybrid with online co-op. Once again it's just the base game with a bit of a discount on the DLC.
unlabelledView post →It's good but literally impossible to platinum unless you're playing in coop. The difficulty of some achievements is beyond reasonable in solo play and therefore requires 2 people.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Follows the proven gameplay of 1 & 2 adding some new traps and characters. The levels are good (some of them terrific). Cons: - no endless on war scenario maps - the DLCs (especially the 1st one) could be better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game, one of the better Tower Defense games, the issue is that it is prone to crashes and glitches on PC In 25 hours of game-time I have had - - 4 crashes - 1 of the crashes uninstalled the DLC's for some reason - 2 glitches that made me unable to lose the game about an hour into an Endless mode run, making it truly Endless, the rift would not lose points even if enemies entered it - Another glitch where I could not lose, this time by enemies getting stuck on nothing while inside…

unlabelledView post →Just finished the story campaign, and i have to say... this part was simply a big downgrade from Orcs Must Die 2. The traps feel mostly underwhelming, some enemies simply much more tanky then necessary, the later maps in the story, i think all after map 12, were only stressful af and not fun at all. The weapons were meh, the minigun was the only one that was kind of fun but it's a DLC weapon. The war scenarios were really cool, except for the last one. Overall, just a big downgrade, get…

Building efficient trap layouts while actively fighting alongside them remains as satisfying as ever. The game become even more enjoyable in co-op. 100% steam achievements Time : 56.4H Completion Difficulty : 6/10 Playthroughs : 2+ Missables : None DLC Required : Yes Notable requirements : Complete the main campaign and DLC on the highest difficulty with the maximun rating.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want the short version, I enjoyed Orcs Must Die! 3, but not nearly as much as Orcs Must Die! 2. It introduces a lot of welcome quality of life improvements and offers more content than any previous entry, but I also think it's a less focused experience. It's easier to recommend to newcomers, yet I found myself missing the tighter encounter design and challenge of its predecessor. One criticism that carries over from previous games is the dialogue. Characters constantly repeat the same…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this for coop with my Brother. Let me say we had some fun playing the game i have some issues with it. More on his end as I quickly felt heavy drawback from the Gameplay. Its my personal thing that i dont like the graphics for the looks as a game for 8 yo kids. My other issue is the debth and lack of options for customisation in upgrading your towers and character Towers : For a Tower Defense game, having just 3 'upgrades' per tower and 2 'unique' modes to choose from feels…

I’ve enjoyed every entry in this series, and this one continues the formula in all the right ways. The core gameplay is as satisfying as ever, placing traps, planning your defenses, and watching the chaos unfold never gets old. It’s fun, fast-paced, and endlessly replayable. The story is solid for what this game is, with enough humor and personality to keep…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played Orcs Must Die 1, 2, and are now thinking about picking up the third game; stop reading this and buy the game now... I know, you didn't leave and you're still here, that never works but I always wanted to say that. Orcs Must Die 3 is an incredible game, and a logical step forward for the franchise. The combat is improved across the board and much more responsive than the other games. In the first few Orcs Must Die games, the combat felt floaty, the hits never felt…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels unfinished. A PvE horde-slaying game should not have this many issues with mob AI. The game becomes repetitive very quickly. Many levels can be dealt with using only basic traps, and I have to sit through them without any way to speed things up.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GAME IS SEVERELY BAD -currency for upgrading traps is too heavily limited per map -building is limited because balance for trappoints etc. is very badly designed. -gate design for waves is severely limiting building fun and choice heavily restricted with points. -weapon balance is bad -trap balance is bad -alot of questionable UI/MENU/INTERFACE choices -cant see trapcost in upgrade menu. -cant see animations of how the trap works. -cant see whether certain traps can be placed in certain…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It really hurts to give this a thumbs down because I feel like this game has the bones to be an amazing tower defense game. The monsters are fun, the physics are great, and the level layouts are really cool. But after about 2 hours, the game becomes an utter slog. Meaningful progression disappears, the whole cast of characters becomes extremely grating (fortnite dances? Really? No.. Just.. Stop.. Please), and the difficult spikes to utterly insane levels for seemingly zero reason. Not…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is very fun and ive loved every play session of this but i wish there was more content, and/or mods that are easy to access.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spent 10 minutes planning trap layout. Orcs went around every trap. 10/10 tactical misdirection.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a lot of fun with OMD1 and OMD3 delivered big time without feeling repetitive. New traps, weapons and trinkets to make those pesky orcs reconsider their life choices when it's already too late for them. If you have problems with placing traps or using weapons (mouse clicks aren't working frequently), play in fullscreen and NOT (borderless) windowed. Might save you a headache and/or yelling at your poor screen.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game, especially with a friend in co-op. The physics traps are hilarious, but there is enough depth with combining elements to keep the other traps nice to use as well. It's a fun but very doable challenge to get all the achievements. I can highly recommend this game, the DLCs are okay if you can get them for cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was my introduction to the series, and I'm a big fan of it! Its a good mix between tower defense and first person shooter. The early rounds are more manually handled, while the later rounds are pretty much exclusively dealt with by traps. Lots of fun and interesting combinations, with many upgrades and ideas to try out. Grab the game on sale! It plays well solo, and REALLY well in Coop! I also really like the Tipping the Scales DLC. I had to adjust some trap combinations to deal…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's one of my top go to games for co-op, in which it really shines. Especially the war scenarios which are basically huge siege maps complete with archers, knights, catapults, giant flip traps (which is so fun to watch when a horde of orcs gets flipped into orbit). Anyone can pick up & play, it has very simple mechanics to learn. It's definitely not as fun as a single player though, if you're alone it can be grindy and the later levels that have multiple exit routes can be very difficult if…
