Every time I’ve tried, I get to the menu and then get on my phone and start doing something else. May just work on One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 some more.

The main reason I'm even writing this review is because I was in the Water 7 Saga Chapter 2 just beat Lucci it went to a cutscene except no it was stuck on a black screen and the only thing I could do was close my game couldn't even skip the scene. MEANING I NOW HAVE TO COMPLETELY REPLAY THAT ENTIRE MISSION and while it wasn't particularly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avoid this trash port at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if u really want to play this get it on console or emulate it. U can tell they barely put in any effort when a console port doesn't even have controller prompts. The game is also capped at 1080p and 60 fps, the fps bothers me less but the resolution being capped at 1080p is ridiculous. Half of the cutscenes in this game also dont work, so when u get to the point where u are supposed to see one u just get a black screen where the only…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, first of all, (this absolutely fucks) AND if you like that, and want a video game with those vibes? IT EXISTS! One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 was (previously) the only OP thing (I think anyways?) that leaned this heavily into ska: youtu.be/_NBi6dNm2yY?...
unlabelledView post →The game itself is very good and i enjoy it very much. but the port to PC is horrible. I have made so many 3rd party fixes to this game just to complete the story and remove major bugs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No mouse support, crash every time, no full keyboard support, doesnt read your controller correctly. This game is unplayable on modern computers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do NOT play this game on PC. So basically, I downloaded OPPW3 for my PC, and the game and the campaign was fine until the level "Showdown at Arubarna". I can watch the cinematics all fine, but when it comes to playing the level it sends me to the main menu before I can even press start. This level is at the second chapter, so I can only play a few level out of the WHOLE game. Some say I need to run as administrator to fix this, but whenever I try I need to find a "compatability" tab, and no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FYI, I've got 350+ hours on this game on PS4, I've 100%ed it multiple times there, so I can confidently say the PC port of PW3 is the worst way to experience this game, even the PS Vita version wasn't this bad. Control support is broken, as it just lacks dedicated controller glyphs and directionals remapping, which is a cardinal sin for a warriors game as far as I'm concerned (mind you, all glyphs are in the game files, they're just not used at all), resolutions and frames are locked at 1080p…

unlabelledView post →This game doesn't have native controller support, and it's unplayable with keyboard and mouse. It also doesn't have Steam Cloud support so you are likely to lose your save file at some point unless you back it up. Combine this with lots of unpatched bugs and repetitive gameplay and you get a frustrating gameplay experience. I don't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fix your game before releasing it to public. There's some kind of bug where the cutscenes won't play and then the game just stuck on blackscreen
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the legacy of the PS5 will be "the ultimate One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 machine"
unlabelledView post →Rip off the hands of the person who made this port, i was so excited to play this game and this is what i get -game chrashes, you cant save your progress and it has the dumbest controls for gamepad
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incidentally, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and 4 are probably some of the best Musou ever made, while you're here. Tough sell if you're not already a One Piece fan, but they're fantastic, and kinda back-seat the focus on route planning. the second Zelda musou, Age Of Calamity, is another GREAT one.
unlabelledView post →not recommended. i enjoyed the game itself. its just the crashes and bugs not getting fixed makes me wanna puke out of disappointment. if only i knew it's this much of a distraction, i wouldn't have bought it from summer sale. I heard that this kind of crashes are normal with console games on PC port. if that's the case, I won't be buying games again before I google some crashes on the games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PROS - Fun and satisfying musou gameplay. - Good variety of playable characters. - Great fan service for One Piece fans. - Flashy combat that captures the anime well. CONS - Some stages consistently crash, making progression impossible. - Long-standing bugs remain unfixed. - Repetitive mission structure over long play sessions. VERDICT ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 3 is a genuinely enjoyable action game with satisfying combat and a solid roster of characters. However, it's difficult…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doesn't support controller naively, and it's unplayable with keyboard and mouse. It's a shame tho, because it looks good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is great, but it is unplayably broken. Controls are mapped for some strange eldritch entity that only is adjacently related to humanity, the cutscenes crash one third of the time, and are blurry another third, and are filled with horrible demon versions of the Straw Hats when they do work properly because of the realistic textures placed on cartoon models. I'm gonna try and get my moneys worth, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does not run well
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NO MATTER WHAT, DON’T BUY THE GAME WITHOUT A DISCOUNT. The problem with this port is that they used the PS3 version instead of the PS4 version, which results in worse graphics and many technical issues. Keep in mind that they still haven’t fixed the controller configuration since the game’s release. On top of that, the framerate is locked at 60 FPS. If this is your first time with the series, move on to OPPW 4 instead of this version, or buy this game on PS4/PS5 instead. NOTE: The game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, but the port is horrible. There are a ton of bugs, so here are some things to keep in mind: - Controller mapping must be done through Steam community layouts - Controller must be plugged in when the game is launched - Audio output cannot be changed - Max resolution is 1080p - Reconfiguring resolution manually will break cutscenes and may cause the game to crash - Reconfiguring audio output manually while the game is running will cause the game to freeze - You must download a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game but it has terrible controller support and it took a long time to set up 2 player coop. Not worth spending my time doing set up, it made the game undesirable to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It runs perfectly while using the DXVK fix. 13 hours in and no crashes while having the cutscenes and movies enabled.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although it's a pretty fun game and the characters all feel unique moves-wise, the port is broken to the point that I can't beat the last level. After defeating Doflamingo, my screen goes black and I can't do anything. I tried deleting specific game files, having the game windows, etc but no success. As a result, I don't recommend this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its fun game but crash every time i get to cut scene.. i hope the devlp fix this game.. but i guest they dont care i still love the game and keep playing tho even it crash and this game have been in my library for 3-4 years now [ DEVELOPER IF U SEE THIS COMMENT PLEASE FIX UR GAME.. NOT JUST ONE PIECE GAME.. SOME OF OTHER BANDAI PUBLISH WAS BROKEN TOO ]
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is an energetic and faithful adaptation of the long-running anime and manga series, merging the fast-paced, enemy-swarming gameplay of the Dynasty Warriors franchise with the colorful, high-stakes world of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved pirate saga. Developed by Omega Force and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game provides fans with a retelling of the One Piece story from Luffy’s humble beginnings in Fuschia Village all the way up to the Dressrosa arc. Despite…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun game, but PLEASE PLAY IT ON LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. specifically the steam port is so bad i cant even finish the game because it crashes at scripted cutscenes, i have to go out of my way looking for methods to have it not crash
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When you play as Tashigi in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, there's a dedicated button to make her take her glasses off, and all that happens is the screen gets blurry. It has no benefit. I unironically believe this is peak game design.
unlabelledView post →really bad port. controls don't map properly when using a game controller. makes it damn near impossible to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The actual game is really fun and addicting, but I can't not talk about my issues with this game. First, the port is complete garbage, I had to download a mod that adds button prompts because all the buttons shown on screen would be the keyboard buttons, Dynasty Warriors 8 had the same issue so I was fine with this. Then I downloaded a mod that would allow me to play in 1440p, but found that a lot of the time the game would crash or freeze, so I had to uninstall that mod and downgrade my…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is a very solid Musou game, and a contender for best in the PW series. It is very good as a refresher of the basics of the plot for people who are already familiar with the story up to Punk Hazard (it's adaptation of Dressrosa is "original"), but is, of course, not a substitute for reading the manga or watching the anime (so much is skipped you'll only really get the gist of what happened). As such, I cannot recommend the Pirate Warriors games to series newcomers…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Showdown at Alaburna just crashes constantly and throws you back at the main menu, making the game unplayable. An unfixed bug since 2016 with limited support. Done everything I've seen online and it still doesnt work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS SO PEAK I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH !!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is pretty addictive easy to understand and fun to pull of
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had many bugs that still not been fixed by the developer. No wonder it's on sale quite frequent at low price. Maybe should go for pirate warriors 4 than buying this. p.s. go to steam community on how to solve the bug issue.

unlabelledView post →I originally bought this game so i could play co-op but this particular port has so many issues it was borderline unplayable. I was hoping for a patch that could possibly fix it but here we are in the big 26 and it's still a hot mess. Avoid this port at all costs and honestly avoid all Japanese PC ports from 2012-2020 at all costs!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No matter what I do, I'm unable to play at certain points. I try to do the final level, but it will either crash or send me back to the main menu.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Also, yes, it is explicitly One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. Is 4 better gameplay overall? I think so? It's certainly fancier looking, and (unfortunately/fortunately) the PC port is better. BUT. The soundtrack is rizzless. Well. Not entirely without rizz, but come on, OPPW 3 OST adds so much to it.
unlabelledView post →You can play it with your friend on split screen mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much the gameplay is addicting and fun. The constant crashing between cutscenes and textures missing randomly and going online for multiple solutions, only to work temporarily then coming across new problems became overbearing. Great way to play this game is to play where it originated from to get the best experience. Even with the cheapest being 5 bucks, it's better to wait for Pirate Warriors 4 to be on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game crash every mission and make impossible to finish it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoyable game great soundtrack horrible controller compatability
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terribly buggy on Windows 11. In general Koei has horrible ports for their games, at least the older ones and unfortunately this is no exception. Pirate Warriors 4 is better in almost every way but a lot more expensive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, bad port especially on Legend Log. Only buy on sale if u love One Piece or grab Pirate Warriors IV instead.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crash and black screen bug. You can't finish this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controller support is terrible wouldnt recommend
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually really like this game, crashes and all. Dunno if my playtime is any indicator of that lol. But yeah, the crashes are HORRIBLE. If you don't have the patience to replay the same level, like, three different times, I definitely don't recommend this game. An easy fix is choosing two people before each level (splitscreen), but that's a little inconvenient. Plus the graphics aren't incredible or anything. Not horrible, but I sometimes have trouble seeing the textures on certain things in…
