Critics, per Wikipedia
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 47% of 76 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 5.4/10. The website's consensus reads: "Polished as a business presentation and just as impersonal, Office Romance is headed by a likable pairing but proves too content to follow the rules of standard rom-coms to nab a promotion into the C-suite." Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 52 out of 100, based on 22 critics, indicating "mixed or average" reviews. Lisa Kennedy of The New York Times wrote, "The writers Goldstein and Joe Kelly attempt to cram a streaming season’s worth of character zigs into a two-hour film. Alas, the landing isn’t…

neutral · AI labelView post →Yikes! Jennifer Lopez returns to her favoured romcom genre, with Ted Lasso's Brett Goldstein in tow. Their Office Romance on Netflix is a surprisingly crude affair, with lots of C-bombs, a graphic birth scene + too much self-simping by J-Lo. A generous 3 out of 5. film-authority.com/2026/06/06/o...

neutral · AI labelView post →For my fellow cheesy rom-com enthusiasts - Office Romance on Netflix is a terrible, outrageous movie and I loved every ridiculous moment. I find Brett Goldstein incredibly charming, and JLo is as gorgeous as ever. Ludicrous movie, but thoroughly enjoyable.

neutral · AI labelView post →OFFICE ROMANCE…Didn't hate it, but wanted it to be so much better. A couple laughs, but there was a much more fun, and funny, movie here, even given standard set-up. Feel like it's a bad sign when the post-credits gag was the best bit of the entire film.
neutral · AI labelView post →My thoughts on Office Romance—a baffling movie that was written as an R-rated sex farce, directed as a glossy '90s rom-com, and acted as an earnest female empowerment story.

(Contrast “Arrival.”) The “Office Romance” trailer reveals the whole 1st and 2d acts. “Grogu” tells nothing about the plot; it’s all action snippets and cute Grogu…

negative · AI labelView post →I'm normally a fan of anything Brett Goldstein's involved in, but we watched Office Romance (Netflix) last night, and holy old hell, what a dud. Like the main goal was to pack as many romcom cliches as possible into one movie. I should have known J Lo couldn't be in anything good.
