Tips on current gallery shows (Chelsea or elsewhere) and museum exhibitions welcome. Also snack/coffee spots around Lincoln Center.

It's not about making a film for profit. It's about making the corruption PLAIN, so that the public cannot look at the admin without recognizing it.

unlabelledView post →I love this movie SO MUCH, it's actually criminal it never got a blu-ray release. Love that it's finally streaming somewhere, because the last time I went to watch it, it was NOWHERE and I finally just went and bought the DVD. 😂
unlabelledView post →Race with the Devil is a b-movie remake that puts a different spin on the premise by centering on a high-stakes drag race against the Devil. Nowhere near as good as the original but still fun! Hokum was the newest one & delivered all the creepy feels that I enjoy in a good haunting/murder mystery. 👻
unlabelledView post →One of the greatest of all film failures, Caligula, was a period piece porn with big name actors and…if you ever do make one…the bar is low. Nowhere to go but up.
unlabelledView post →Well, I have now seen Digger, and if you wanted a non-symmetrical Wes Anderson take on Dr Strangelove that becomes completely inert in its last 30 minutes, this is the film for you. Nowhere near as bad as its box office but they spent $150m more than they should have done.

unlabelledView post →I would have placed Hong Sang-soo as among the least likely working directors to invoke the Israel-Palestine conflict in his film, so when he did just that in Nowhere To Lay My Eyes, I felt the need to unpack it. Here it is: fcardamenis.substack.com/p/nyff-3-now...
unlabelledView post →Was it good? Yeah, I loved Pinhead and while the characters were very bland and predictable, I liked that the best bits of the film were saved for last. Nowhere near as gooey and unsettling as the OG though. Good gory horror film, just not a Clive Baker one. Then again, who can be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm not much of one for survival movies as they're all pretty much an exercise in human endurance and mental anguish against insurmountable odds, with one calamity after another, that tends to go on far longer than necessary. This one is no different and I watched it only because it was recommended to me. However, if you do like survival films, this one is pretty good. It was completely believable…
