Nowhere
In Los Angeles, a colorful assortment of bohemians try to make sense of their intersecting lives. The moody Dark Smith, his bisexual girlfriend, her lesbian lover and their shy gay friend plan on attending the wildest party of the year. But they'll only make it if they can survive the drug trips, suicides, trysts, mutilations and alien abductions that occur as one surreal day unfolds. From TMDB

Director Seth Holt, co-writer Kenneth Tynan, in the story of a cold blooded criminal, was vastly ahead of its time. (co-stars Maggie Smith in film debut)
neutral · AI labelView post →Nowhere near enough people are going to see this film, but it needs to be seen. It lays out in exacting, excruciating detail from the mouths of the people involved exactly how Israel is systematically eradicating Gaza and the Palestinians who live in it.
neutral · AI labelView post →Mine is Nowhere Man from the same film (though, it's not George's 😕).
neutral · AI labelView post →To me, THERE'S NOWHERE NEAR ENOUGH URGENCY in making these films, etc. Folks making revelatory films need to get them TO THE PUBLIC faster. It's not about making a film for profit. It's about making the corruption PLAIN, so that the public cannot look at the admin without recognizing it.

neutral · AI labelView post →One of the greatest of all film failures, Caligula, was a period piece porn with big name actors and…if you ever do make one…the bar is low. Nowhere to go but up.

neutral · AI labelView post →One of my grapes about modern literature these days has been that everyone is making a book or comic book so that I can get options into a TV show or movie. No one wants to write a piece of literature to just be a piece of literature. Nowhere is that more apparent than Marvel company crossovers.
neutral · AI labelView post →Today's spooky season film rewatch is Friday the 13th (2009). Nowhere near as good as the original but an entertaining watch in the 2000s slasher genre. I tried to watch the new Crystal Lake series. I gave up in the middle of episode three. It was soooo slow. A shame as Linda Cardellini was great.

neutral · AI labelView post →Couple songs through the movie, nothing recognizable or particularly catchy. So it's a massive surprise that it goes out on Road To Nowhere. Someday a good movie should also do that!
neutral · AI labelView post →What I watched this week. Going to round out the week with Greg Araki's "Nowhere" at home before catching Alex Gibney's new doc on Elon Musk in the theater tomorrow. #film #letterboxd
neutral · AI labelView post →Marketing focus on that generic Jim Caviezel action movie and the Social Network sequel with the Deliver Me from Nowhere actors. Or Sony watched what Disney did with Psycho Killer and decided to do a kid-friendlier Psycho Killer (tone wise) (aka Sony losing faith in the movie)
