40 of 40 · most liked firstI have not seen the new Martin Campbell movie with Daisy Ridley, but I did catch up to the previous one with Eva Green. In DIRTY ANGELS Green is the damaged warrior leading a special ops team (including Ruby Rose and Maria Bakalova) to rescue girls kidnapped from a school in Pakistan.

unlabelledView post →Watched DIRTY ANGELS (2024) the 6️⃣9️⃣5️⃣th film I've seen with an exploding helicopter. 🚁💥🎥 This wasn't Martin Campbell's or Eva Green's best work, but it was a lot better than some of the DTV crud I have to watch.

unlabelledView post →Wait - Martin Campbell had a new film out in December and I didn’t hear a peep about it, let alone see any marketing. What the hell is happening to this industry? It’s called DIRTY ANGELS, by the way - with Eva Green. Martin Campbell is one of action cinema’s all-time greats.
unlabelledView post →Eighteen years after Casino Royale, director Martin Campbell — still plugging away at age 81 — reunites with Eva Green for the "Women on a Mission" movie Dirty Angels. Here's my review. (Spoiler: Don't go in expecting Casino Royale levels of quality.)
unlabelledView post →Dirty Angels Here comes another movie that went by for 95 minutes and after it was over, I realised I barely remember what happened in this movie. The story? What story? Characters? I didn't see any that mattered at all. Acting? Fell flat like cardboard
unlabelledView post →Saw a thing for a film: Dirty Angels. An ad hoc group of female soldiers have to rescue a bunch of teenagers caught between ISIS and the Taliban. Female ensemble protagonists: cool Eva Green: cool. But I'm concerned about how much Islamophobia it will propagate.

Watch and wonder what the hell happened to Casino Royal director Martin Campbell when they produce one of the best bond films, then push out this old tosh! Also ActionVFX might not want this film on their show reel for their explosions footage pack

unlabelledView post →Despite a few intriguing ideas and a fun climactic hand-to-hand brawl that's both swordfight and street fight, "Dirty Angels" is yet another mediocre movie from action journeyman Martin Campbell. Nick Rogers reviews the film at Midwest Film Journal.
unlabelledView post →Dirty Angels (Limited/VOD): This is another action film, starring Eva Green as a soldier on a tense mission in Afghanistan. The film is directed by veteran Martin Campbell and has some good action sequences and a decent cast. I liked this more than expected. 2.5/5 stars

unlabelledView post →Watching Dirty Angels on Prime - there’s a weak feminist agenda but shocking scenes of execution and violence giving a whiff of the reality of religious/political fanaticism - strong scenes - actors could’ve had some more flesh - great action movie

unlabelledView post →Cleaner (2025) wasn't bad, if not that original. It's certainly better than Martin Campbell's last film, Dirty Angels (2024).
unlabelledView post →You know what, Dirty Angels isn't that bad. Eva Green is pretty badass in it, it's the typical sort of special forces movie, except there's women in it instead of blokes.
unlabelledView post →Eva Green is in my estimation, a really decent actress, so why on earth is she in whatever this is supposed to be? "Dirty Angels" is weighed down by a horribly hammy, pro US story, where allegedly kind old Uncle Sam (the other one who doesn't finance middle eastern extremists), takes on the mean old Middle Eastern terrorists, for the umpteenth time. Its entirely predictable fare, with the misogynistic terrorists getting their butts handed to them by the virtuous, if unkempt, female hit squad.…
