No Time to Die
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. From TMDB

Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.” Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says: “You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream." radaronline.com/p/james-bond...

But this is a depressing film that's advertised as a Bond film. I don't really want to rewatch this again. No Time For NTTD For Me.

unlabelledView post →It's actually a really bad sign for the movie if they're focusing this hard on continuity, or "correcting" Bond's death in No Time To Die. That's how we ended up with "The Rise of Skywalker." You just have a guy say "I heard you died," and Bond smile and say "I heard that too."

unlabelledView post →NO TIME TO DIE was an excellent film. And yes, they killed James Bond. It was poignant. Well done. I might have even gotten a bit teary. And then followed by a huge image on screen saying JAMES BOND WILL RETURN. There is no conundrum.
