Did get to use a load of new tiles though including the market street and the guild hall (representing the den). #Warhammer

Hell bring back the old bulkheads and give us a few card platforms to clip in Ppl don't mind card!
unlabelledView post →Honestly I think Games Workshop knock it out of the park with every Necromunda release, so very tempted to get involved even though I hear the game is a bit of a hot mess of sourcebooks
unlabelledView post →Tester game for Necromunda Underhells saw my opponent immediately accelerate his custom rig to three times its movement, attempt a turn, lose control, roll it three times, and wreck it. Which is, to be fair, the only acceptable way to play Necromunda.

unlabelledView post →You know how GW sometimes releases "mini-games"? Like a Khorne Bloodbound pit-fighting game for AoS, or Bombers over the Sulphur River for Epic? They need to make a sailing game set on Necromunda where you hunt giant sump-spiders.

unlabelledView post →So at the current 90% off, I believe it is worth a poke around to see what could've been. If you are curious to see the potential here. Necromunda is a fantastic IP and is prime for a turn-based X-Com-like. To me, it is the GWs best game and still fits their original feel perfectly with the humour and the ridiculousness. And the mechanics are so ripe for creating interesting campaigns on a strategic, tactical and roleplaying level. I don't know how you fumble this so bad. Firstly, the 3rd…

Necromunda is a bit of a Mordheim v1.5. If you liked Mordheim, you'll love this one. For the uninitiated, this is a Turn Based Strategy meets Front Office Sports Manager. I also look at it more as a board game simulator than video game. People like to use the word Janky, but I dunno, I really don't experience much Jank. Both games are high…

unlabelledView post →No idea what all the crying is about... this is a decent game - it's fun, fairly unique, and in 25 hours I've not yet come across a single one of these supposed ubiquitous and game breaking bugs... Gameplay loop is pretty simple, you make a gang, you level them though Thug Life related activities, you make them pretty, you do harder ♥♥♥♥, etc. I mean okay, it's not Elden Ring or Mass Effect but it's a perfectly playable and enjoyable game with a pretty unique setting and innovative ideas. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →what ive learned in the past 2 or 3 years playing warhammer games is dont read the reviews wait for a sale and just buy it and find out for yourselves. idk if the warhammer games have brought the tabletop gamers here for the first time but most of them have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to video games. ive only played 3 hours but thats because i bought all these games during the warhammer sale. i got to say from finally buying a lot if not almost all warhammer games worth…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In brief: unsatisfying gang-skirmish game with terrible AI - a missed opportunity. Caveat: single-player review. If only it were a reskin of City of the Damned. In 2015 Rogue Factor gave us a digital version of one of Games Workshop's niche classics, Mordheim. I've already recommended that game elsewhere, for all its flaws; in my view it was a good port, punishing in its difficulty but well made and satisfying once you got used to it. I was excited about Underhive Wars, knowing that even if…

unlabelledView post →Review There are games that don’t respect your time and Necromunda: Underhive Wars is a prime example for that. I expected tactical gameplay and gang management in the Warhammer universe but its design choices make it both frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. Gameplay The game uses a hybrid system of movement points and action points. Movement happens freely in third-person rather than on a grid, which is a refreshing idea. If you misjudge your movement, you can backtrack and recover…

I feel as though this is one of those games that deserve another try and if only it had gotten the love, and attention it deserved it truly could have been…

unlabelledView post →I'll preface my review with "if you're super into Necromunda/Warhammer 40k, you'll probably enjoy parts of it and should get it." I ended up purchasing this without knowing much about Necromunda and with full knowledge that its a little jank. I don't recommend this game for any kind of casual gamer or person unaccustomed to janky games. To beat this game requires an appreciation for a budget title with sharp edges. I don't usually get games for the bells and whistles - single player campaigns…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly bad AI, small maps, and only 5 gangers in a mission....but I'm loving every minute of it. Had massive potential but was abandoned (not unusual for Warhammer games).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick game of Necromunda tonight 🤘
unlabelledView post →Literally could have just made a Necromunda themed X-Com clone, but they made this instead. AI is broken, gets lost easily/walks into walls. Controls feel janky. Matches take HOURS, and most of the time is spent wrestling with the controls. It's really not great. Tell me if I'm missing something.

unlabelledView post →Don't listen to the whiners on here - if you love the tabletop game and the WH40k setting in general you will enjoy yourself with this. I have only two gripes - 1) the AI is not the best. Not as bad as some on here make out, but certainly not good or much of a challenge. 2) There is currently no way to play a local private ongoing campaign. It's either play against the AI, or play against other people you don't know - a choice between two extremes. As a casual player, I would like an…

unlabelledView post →Two steps back There is an inherent risk tied to making a sequel of any game. Technically speaking, all the building blocks are already in place. Yet, to make a meaningful successor “more of the same” usually isn’t enough and studios try to make a known formula bigger and better. Occasionally, in the struggle to reinvent the wheel the most bizarre creations are made, and let’s not beat around the bush, today’s title is just one such case. Before anyone raises a point that Necromunda: Underhive…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game so badly. Huge fan of 40K and loved the tabletop game plus I adore turn based squad tactics games on PC. This game checks all my boxes, but it really sucks so bad. Clunky, awkward, a lot of the rules make no sense and somehow it manages to combine being over complicated with ploddingly repetitive and is achingly slow to play. So frustrating; this is one of those games that every so often I reinstall because I think "I love the setting, surely it can't have been as bad…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a third-person, turn-based, strategy game, with a map world overview, played in small instanced maps. You are in charge of a warband/group of 5 deployed characters. There are classes, skills, abilities, experience, and levels, as well as equipment, weapons, and more. A truly excellent strategy game, much like 3D-chess, although with a whole lot more options. This is a very nice replica of the Table-Top old-school game, where you'd commandeer a somewhat large table in the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mechanically, it’s as good as an adaptation of the tabletop game can get, and it definitely scratches the itch. Unfortunately, the multiplayer seems pretty dead and there is no multiplayer campaign which is the most fun part of the tabletop game. The story is pretty lacking too, the offline campaign is where its at. All in all it’s definitely worth $20 (also the AI isn’t really that bad people just like to hate). Edit: nvm the AI is that bad.
