60 of 203 · most liked firstBen and Jerry's Neapolitan Dynamite (2006-2010): Cherry Garcia and Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice creams, side by side in a pint. Confusingly, this concoction was neither Neapolitan, nor did it have any connection to it's namesake film, "Napoleon Dynamite".
unlabelledView post →Side note: for whatever reason, it seems to be the cool thing now to act like Napoleon Dynamite was/is terrible, and this is revisionist history and hipsterism. The chokehold that movie had on my class senior year of high school is unlike anything I've ever seen in pop culture

unlabelledView post →Showing my kid Napoleon Dynamite today. I'm excited. I was in a test audience of this movie at the Ritz in Philly back in the day and they handed out powder blue t shirts that said Gimme Your Tots with a pile of tater tots on it. Fit me so well, I looked jacked in it. Was one of my favorite shirts

unlabelledView post →Joe Pera Talks With You was an underappreciated treasure that I think deserves way more viewers. Here's one of my favorite scenes.. I would describe it as Napoleon Dynamite meets Mister Rogers directed by Wes Anderson. It's a lovely show that got cancelled after 3 seasons, but the seasons they got were really special and worth watching. There's a very subtle, sweet storyline throughout the story that isn't immediately obvious if you just jump around via clips.

unlabelledView post →In 2004, to promote “Napoleon Dynamite,” Fox Searchlight screened the movie for free hundreds of times, built a social network from scratch, and gave away thousands of Vote for Pedro T-shirts. 21 years later, I spoke to the people behind the campaign: www.marketingbrew.com/stories/2025...

unlabelledView post →"NAPOLEON DYNAMITE II" is a movie that would make an actual killing if they put it in theaters, I'm telling you. "Pedro runs for Governor of Idaho, Napoleon is his manager again." That's a movie. People would love that.
unlabelledView post →I rewatched Napoleon Dynamite last week and it holds up well IMO. So, not that.
unlabelledView post →Judging by the battlefield carnage I’m seeing in promotional footage of Ridley Scott’s latest outing.. They might have named the wrong film ‘Napoleon Dynamite’! #filmbluesky #cinema

unlabelledView post →Napoleon Dynamite was just a Wes Anderson movie for poor people
unlabelledView post →I nominate "[Dude, Where's My Car?](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0242423/)". I thought this was screamingly funny when it came out. It was the movie everyone quoted until "Napoleon Dynamite" came out. I tried rewatching it maybe a year or two ago and it's aged like milk. Too much of the comedy relies on unhealthy stereotypes & tropes.

unlabelledView post →Napoleon Dynamite with the eldest. A film which has aged very well.
unlabelledView post →Not to be too millennial about it, but I’m watching Napoleon Dynamite for the first time in years and I’m still cackling like a hyena. Such a dumb, strangely sweet, deeply silly movie.
unlabelledView post →i watched the minecraft movie last night (unfinished cgi forme) and coming away from it my feeling is mostly disappointment. Knowing that the director is the same director of Napoleon Dynamite and the few actual funny jokes in the film, there are bones for a surreal absurdist movie in there.

The trailer makes it look at least moderately amusing. Tho apparently this movie went for a couple years without a distributor, after showing at a film festival a couple years back. And it looks like now it's only playing at one theater in LA? [JustWatch says](https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/tapawingo) it's streaming on…
