unlabelledView post →Extremely fast paced action, I love this so much. Very hard on higher difficulties (duh), but still very fair. This was probably a skill issue on my end, but I feel like some weapons are just downgrades from better ones... the Railgun and Katanas (even when fully upgraded) felt worse than the default Revolver. But maybe I just couldn't get used to them or didn't knew where they can actually be useful. It's a great game, regardless.

The short runs and constant dopamine drip are perfect for when you have no idea what to play. Despite it's 80's irony drenched trappings, and allusions to boomer shooter vibes, it stabs a very particular niche that I can't say many games occupy if any at all. Truly nothing quite like it.
