negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has potential... Maybe remove requirement for psn for guest... Why should people who don't own the game make an account for a system they don't own? Possible replace it with their own account system or add a true guest log in.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fascinating to see PlayStation erase anything that isn't a hit. Still thinking about Midnight Murder Club from the creators of Knockout City. It's a fun party/horror game PUBLISHED by PlayStation and they haven't mentioned it once this Halloween season. store.steampowered.com/app/2698870/...

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine, if you would. A game built to be played with your friends. Easily accessible with one one purchased copy needed. Then you kill the entire point of that by forcing the game to require a PSN account. Did Helldivers 2 not teach Sony a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing? The game itself is fun. But I'm not recommending it until Sony get their grubby fingers out of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →psn is so ass, its also locked on linux for no reason, its not that it doesnt work They just activily blocked it And dealing w sony is so annoying, plus they ask for your so much info when making a account dont buy it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is super super fun to play with friends and I was so excited when I saw that it comes with a guest pass. Bought it, installed it, went to play with friends, boom. Sign into Playstation network. I would be fine making a PSN account if it was just me but I am NOT about to force all five of my friends to make accounts and have them each individually sign into their game. This is just like the Helldivers 2 controversy of earlier this year where you were required to have a playstation…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Since the 1.2 update, this game suffers from a massive downgrade when it comes to private games with friends. We're now required to play in public lobbies to play the missing game modes (as seen in a dev reply) ? It's not a viable solution and communication about it wasn't the cleraest. Might revise my judgement if changes are made, but can't recommend it to small groups of friends.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Midnight Murder Club is a classy little game where a group of “friends” meet up in a dark mansion to do wholesome activities like: * panic-breathing, * flashlight-checking corners like it’s your full-time job, * and immediately accusing the quiet person (it’s always the quiet person). The vibe is *pitch black*. Like, not “spooky mood lighting” black—more like “I can’t see my own hopes and dreams” black. Your flashlight becomes your entire personality, and turning it on feels like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🌸END STREAM! #vtubers I highly recommend playing MIDNIGHT MURDER CLUB with friends or any collab chance. Even if the game is in beta, you can still play the demo for free for now! 🌷 So much laughter and chaos 10/10 game

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The lack of Linux support and PSN account requirement is a bummer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun FPS game with an interesting premise: there's no light at all and you can only see with a flashlight. But turning your light on means other people can see you too. You'll have to know when to leave your light on or off to sneak up on other players. There's also proximity voice chat, so you can pinpoint where other players are just by listening. This is the only game ever where I've felt comfortable using voice chat in games - it really enhances the experience hearing other players…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game, much more fun for people with Mic's! same team that created Knockout city! Would love to see more people playing this! Please don't let this game fall into the forgotten.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →have to sign into sony just to play. sony then has error for password reset.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very fun play. It should add marco polo, red light/green light, and no light vs noise hunt for a more diverse mini game/custom game mode!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good morning everyone hope you’re doing well! 🥰 The big game say on Saturday the 30th August is taking shape! And I hope lots of you can join 💕 So far the roster of games is: Party Animals, Midnight Murder Club Dead by Daylight Rocket League MK8D Smash Bros Ultimate Fall Guys Mario Party
unlabelledView post →i enjoy it, but my issue is that you cant play it public cause its dead. it actually sucks. but over all game play is great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun if you have 6 players, the mandatory bots are a downside. The wild cards are fun, I wish they would add a system that made everyone choose like 4 wildcards each instead of a lobbywide 6. I think that people who have problems with this game are probably playing with Byron :P

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got the Guest Pass to play with my friends, but I was looped back to the title screen when I pushed Play as Guest. No other options or buttons are available except for Purchase Full Game. If I cant get this version to work why would I buy the game? It also requires a PSN account so well I guess I my hopes were too high to begin with... I don't recommend, waste of time, maybe the full game works fine but I'll never know. Shame Sony has to make things difficult for PC players.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PSN account Needed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was happy to see a Velan Studio's game, but was really disappointed with the required 3rd party sign-in. That turned away most of my friends instantly. Seems like a neat game, standard shoot-em up type game with friends in the pitch dark . . . but that's about it. Reminds me of Red Dead Revolver but in pitch darkness,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't convince me that this exists for any reason other than to be a tax write off for Sony. Janky, poorly made garbage that's fun for maybe 5 minutes with friends if you can get over the asset flip visuals, terrible netcode, and horrible floaty controls.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get a group of friends together and this is incredibly fun. Most fun I've had in a game in a while. I tend to avoid public lobbies in games like these since people are just no fun in publics, so I can't really comment on that. Hilarious good fun. Ran into no problems at all in 4 straight hours of play. The PSN account requirement is dumb, especially if you're like me and have never even really touched a playstation let alone consoles in general. Was a little annoyed I had to make an account…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an absolute blast to play with friends and has become one of my favourite games. The core mechanic of trying to locate the other players while staying hidden yourself creates this tension that keeps everyone on edge in the best possible way. Every round feels like a game of cat and mouse where you're never quite sure if you're the hunter or the hunted. What really sets this game apart are the wildcards that completely shake up the formula. These unexpected twists prevent the gameplay…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh wow, who left this safe open containing Midnight Murder Club for 20% off on Steam?
unlabelledView post →This game looks amazing. And I would tell you more if I could actually play it. For some reason this game is hardcoded to not play on the steamdeck, for NO reason. When you attempt to play it then it will display a screen saying "This game is for PC only and will not run on the SteamDeck." Considering I spent money on this it would have been nice to have some sort of warning that the game was purposefully made to not work on one of the best selling consoles currently. This is frankly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Great 6 player Game! Shooting at each other in the dark....some hide , others sweat and im just having fun. But After a 5+ hours it starts to get repetitive but im sure the devs are working on more updates!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hope u have a PSN login handy, or else you're not playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Is A Great Game To play With Friends it can create A lot of Funny Moments, only thing is i think they do need to add a way to play with less ppl cause i can see trying to find 6 friends to play with can be a problem for some cause the bots but overall really fun game to try. but also i like they do the guest pass so you and try it out before you by got a lot of enjoyment out of it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A gorgeously tense and socially charged multiplayer FPS that reimagines stealth in the dark. Suspense, wit, and betrayal make it perfect for laughter—and screams—with friends. Just needs more polish and variety to fulfill its eerie promise. - Rating: 8/10 - Video Gameplay - https://youtu.be/o-NAMI-uibk - Follow my curator page - https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45547027/
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game-play was not at all like what the advertisements made it seem like. It was boring and there was no horror aspect like what was promised.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really liked this game at first, but then they came out with the most recent update (1.2). They removed a lot of the game modes and completely botched the totems game mode that we were loving playing with our large group of friends. They removed free for all generic and team death match generic and all we can really play with a larger group now is just wild cards. which is fun but is often too chaotic and sometimes you just want something basic. I hope they bring back the old game modes and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game gets stuck at the login stage for the guest pass edition... 2 of 3 of us guest pass users could not get anything but a white/blank popup in game with the title of the popup being login with no way to actually login... That Sony/Playstation network requirement really botched the game before one could even try it in any meaningful way. Their documentation to troubleshoot was useless as was any search results: https://www.midnightmurderclub.com/troubleshooting I haven't had this issue with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If your looking to play this game on Linux, don't bother. The Devs don't have any plans to make this compatible with Linux or with any of its layers like CachyOS. It's Borked if you download this you're given "Midnight Murder Club only supports PC at this time and will not run on Steam Deck" on the launch title. Even though they we're "aiming to be Steam Deck compatible by launch!" https://steamcommunity.com/app/2698870/discussions/0/6497096716249456908/ Edit: You'll need a PSN account to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good fun with a few friends once you get past the PSN requirement. Mods would do absolute wonders for the game!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Chaos (in the best ways) Finally got my friends into this game and we had an absolute blast. The stims were stimming, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the “Buy One, Get Five Free” feature. We all agreed that even if we each had to buy it separately, it still would’ve been worth it. Sure, signing into PSN was a red flag, but the game itself is genuinely worth giving a shot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game would be so fun, if it wasn't for the hour set up with sony and administrator mode followed by no one being able to play because of the unbearable lag
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fist of all you have to make a Sony account and run the game as administrator just to play then on top of that there is the worst lag I have ever experienced in my life the lag is so bad I genuinely wanted to throw up the baloney sandwich I ate for lunch

From walking around in the darkness, only hearing footsteps or breathing to sudden flashes of light and shoot outs, it made this game exciting for my friends and I to play which was only amplified by the addition of the Wild Cards. Anything stating that having QoL features such as highlighting doors in darkness or the edges of your screen SLIGHTLY illuminated in the darkness when brushing against a wall are a…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite the negative reviews whining about there being *gasp* a matchmaking service, this has proven to be a high quality party game with modes and modifiers that do keep the one map fresh - it's what it says on the tin, as well as being very consumer friendly. The bots are a bit lifeless and pretty deadly though, the fun is definitely multiplied by the number of real humans you can rope in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey wow haha, while we're here, this is a good time to remind you that you can play Midnight Murder Club with your friends using Guest Pass at no additional cost. store.steampowered.com/app/2698870/...
unlabelledView post →This is a great game. with the exception of the SONY / PSN issues my problem is the public match making. it practically does not exist. You are stuck as the host waiting for others to join, unless i'm BLIND there is'nt a option to join others so it ends up feeling like the game is dead. MMC Team i'm basically saying this needs a rework. Over all great game but I only recommend it if you have a friend or two to play it with. If you are planning on playing this by your self... DONT... haha its…
