Mickey's Christmas Carol
Ebenezer Scrooge is far too greedy to understand that Christmas is a time for kindness and generosity. But with the guidance of some new found friends, Scrooge learns to embrace the spirit of the season. A retelling of the classic Dickens tale with Disney's classic characters. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →Mickey's Christmas Carol and Christmas Vacation. Although Mickey is more a special than a movie so I'm going to add It's A Wonderful Life.
unlabelledView post →I don't like Christmas-ing early, but might as well mess with one Christmas special I enjoy. Said special in question is Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983) & I gotta love how modern ways of watching the film (2013 Blu-ray & Disney+ as of 2025) is just gross as hell. Too much DNR, overcropping, etc.
unlabelledView post →LOL, I remember watching a Christmas video on Youtube and one of the ads was "Mickey's Christmas Carol." I was like: hey, it's just a snippet of it, right? Nope, it was the WHOLE movie.
unlabelledView post →I do enjoy Mickey's Christmas Carol too but its too short of a movie for me now. The Muppet Christmas Carol is perfection.

I initially watched it when we were reading A Christmas Carol in school (alongside that weird mocap film), but what I did think this time, as a recent fan of Disney's classics?

Of course we have a version of Twas the Night too.
unlabelledView post →hello, that's me! It was interesting because it kept getting adapted, I knew it as an audio tape and a magazine (unrelated) before I ever saw the film. I remember Duck Tales starting and thinking it was really weird to have a whole cartoon about Scrooge from Mickey's Christmas Carol
