unlabelledView post →"Alan Wake 2 has now passed 2m sales and has finally started making a profit." At last! This is really deserved. Loved this game! Still have to play the DLCs. 🤗 BTW, remakes of Max Payne 1 and 2 are now in "full production", and Control 2 will enter full production at the end of this month.👍

unlabelledView post →Original photos of Sam Lake, the iconic face of Max Payne, were used to create the game’s unforgettable graphic novel screens. Each shot was carefully photographed and processed to achieve the gritty, noir aesthetic.

unlabelledView post →I started playing The Suffering, on OG XBOX, an old action-horror game~ So far so good, it's a prison-centric horror game. So it's kinda like Silent Hill Downpour or Outlast. Except it's very action-oriented, so it's more like Max Payne! Fun fun :D

I played World of Warcraft when I was in school—best time of my life! The strategy is working: people have so much nostalgia they want to play again. #buildinpublic #ai #gaming

unlabelledView post →Max Payne 1 is my ideal winter game.
unlabelledView post →Feels very much like Indiana Jones and The Infernal Machine, like how that game took a lot of inspiration from Tomb Raider, itself inspired by the Indy movies, and Stranglehold is cribbing from Max Payne, which itself was inspired by heroic bloodshed movies directed by John Woo and Ringo Lam.
unlabelledView post →just found out Celeste has an Assist Mode for those w disabilities even tho i alr beat the game. i felt bad enabling it but then i remembered i do have motor issues and everybody loves Max Payne Bullet Time so it's okay @maddymakesgames.com thank you for this feature it rocks
unlabelledView post →The FBC has a presence in that game they even have a whole DLC that is just straight up Control(plus Control characters show up in it). Shawn Ashmore has a prominent role in the game, James McCaffrey is voicing Sam Lake portraying Alex Casey(Max Payne) and it all flows together so naturally.
unlabelledView post →The more I think about the more I think Max Payne is a poorly written game...but God the writing is so iconic and idiosyncratic for me...only Remedy makes me feel this, nobody does it like them.
unlabelledView post →I've loved Remedy since Max Payne and this game only deepened that love by being SCP BLAME! get into the Remedy universe, rabbithole this shit, it's so fun it's all like if Twin Peaks and X-Files had a child and it's Finnish

unlabelledView post →S'pretty good innit I loved Max Payne 1 and 2 but was SORELY disappointed by AW1 because it was very scaled back from the game I heard it was going to be from previews. It was gonna be semi-open world for a long time but all that had to get cut to pieces to make release.

unlabelledView post →The Max Payne "Was it Any Good" video is amusing because he's presented with a noir themed action game with slowdown and gunning down rooms of dudes, and he's there huffing and puffing that he can't set booby traps on objects like a stealth game.
unlabelledView post →Alan Wake - Nightmare Mode, 99.9% collectibles (Missed ONE fucking thermos) I really liked this game back when I first played it on the 360. Playing it again after seeing Twin Peaks was revelatory. Playing it yet again after Max Payne is like finally finding the last piece of a puzzle. Good game.
