With its fluid mix of melee and magic combat, skill upgrades, and stunning pixel-art design, it creates an atmospheric and emotional experience. Boss battles are creative and intense, the soundtrack heightens every moment, and the pacing feels just right. Though brief, Luctus stands out as a polished, heartfelt indie gem — perfect for players who enjoy fast-paced action wrapped in a…

The game offers 4 different chapters with multiple platorming sections and enemy challenge rooms. There's also a skill tree which you can upgrade your magic skills as well as special attacks and ultimates. The controls are super solid and movements are perfect in this short pixel art. You also have the ability to switch between melee and magic attacks…

unlabelledView post →It is an extremely short action-adventure side-scroller with some. The story is a basic coping with loss story, nothing new. Music is great, but the rest is just.... Fights are looking complex, but I mostly used fireballs and slides. It was fun at first, then just boring. My main problem is the price. For a 1-1,5 hour long game with no replayability, asking 10€ is too much. The game should be 5€ top. There are free-to-play indie games with similar or longer gameplay. 6/10. Thumbs up because…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is simply wonderful! drawing at the highest level! RPG-style action game. The game is very addictive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first thing I noticed about the game was the art design; it's of such high quality that you wouldn't expect it at this price point. The combat system blends close and long-range combat seamlessly, creating an amazing balance. The enemies strike the perfect balance between Dying Light's Volatile and Mario's Goombas. The puzzles are neither so easy that they make you feel stupid nor so difficult that they make you feel stupid; they're right in the middle. The puzzles walk the tightrope…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like I'm watching an anime, you choose your own path and your own credo, I like to create in this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This atmospheric adventure delivers a deeply unsettling experience through its minimalist visuals and immersive sound design. Players explore a dark, mysterious environment filled with psychological tension, where storytelling unfolds subtly and encourages careful observation and interpretation.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art style is quite soulful, at times a bit rough as if everything were hand-drawn. The main goal of the game is boss fights, and they’re done pretty well. There are also puzzles, though honestly it would’ve been better without them xD.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely fantastic! The immersive gameplay keeps you hooked for hours, with stunning visuals, engaging storylines, and challenging puzzles that test your skills. It's perfect for casual players and enthusiasts alike. I can't wait to play more!

unlabelledView post →Recommended. A compact two-to-three-hour 2D action-adventure with genuinely excellent pixel art, a duality-driven melancholy fantasy plot, and stance combat that rewards deflection, judged fairly on its own short terms. The two-stance system (melee and ranged with parry immunity, dash frames, and killing archers with their own arrows) is genuinely fun, the meditation heal is forgiving, and the rune-cipher puzzle, shifting syllables across a table the player must actually decode, is a rare…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Luctus is a 2D pixel platformer with hand-drawn cutscenes, telling the story of Nora, a fire mage who embarks on a journey to bring her sister back to life. The game creates a melancholic atmosphere, but the story is fairly short — it takes about 1.5 hours to complete. There is not much content: just four bosses, two puzzles, and one escape level. If the puzzles seem difficult, the developer included hints to help you progress. Nora’s main weapons are a fireball for ranged attacks and a fire…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first, I thought the game was just another "just read" game, but no, it's a complete adventure, with an engaging storyline and interesting combat mechanics. It's very addictive, I recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gritty survival horror set in a plague-ravaged medieval world. You scavenge resources, fend off infected, and face moral choices in a decaying landscape. The atmosphere is thick with despair, amplified by stark visuals and a haunting soundtrack. Not for those seeking hope
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good graphics and smooth controls. I'll definitely play this again.
