negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lucius II This one took a downward turn after already a semi-serious Lucius, but when the last chance for minded approach has evaporated, the fun has arrived. The devs gave up on a storyline and delivered a number of ways for us to get the most fun out of this little boy*. Well, formally there is a storyline but it's the case of having one just to have one. We are Lucifer's son, Lucius, battling it out with our brother from another mother, Isaac. Apart from the final showdown, this game is all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game really is horrific but maybe more by accident because most of the horror comes from the high level of jank. The opening level in an insane asylum is even more disturbing because of the awful voice acting. The absurd screaming and gibberish is truly weird and disturbing. What is with all of the gay sex references and other sexual stuff going on?? Lucius 2 does have some charm as the concept of an evil kid riding around on a tricycle and murdering people is pretty entertaining. This…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this game for free as part of a deal by acquiring the first Lucius. This game is riddled with bugs! I looked up forums and the devs actually replied to some people with answers such as: "just load a previous save" or "this is a known bug" FFS, if this is a KNOWN bug, then GO fix it! Comments are 8 years old btw, nothing done since then. I already disliked the first game but wanted to at least try this one out to be fair. 2nd mission and keys fall through the ground and I am soft locked...…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just okay. This feels like a big dropoff from the first game, feels a lot shorter than the first, and the quality isn't there, especially for a 2015 game. + Pretty much the only improvement was a better map/quest finder, so you didn't feel as lost as you do in the first game. - My biggest gripe is that it's a lot more open with how you kill people, which is cool, but not when you're unsure as to what you're actually meant to be using. You end up wandering around a lot, looking for…

I actually thought, before playing this second entry, that no game in the franchise could be possibly worse than Lucius III... I stand corrected! Once again you play as Lucius, the buggiest, glitchiest, most whacky version of him yet. Admitted first to an insane asylum, Lucius now must…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the game but can't recoomand it. It reminded me low budget hitman, there are some cool ways to kill but at the end I just set fire. I wish kid had more damage dealing magic. Not recommanding since I prefer the 1st and this is very diffrent and in a worse way in my opinion
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compared to Lucius 1, this one fails to keep the old creepy occultic atmosphere, dumps the only tutorial poorly and immersion-breaking and overall it just feels silly and edgy. The story is forced with the first cutscene, establishes one vague and basic prophecy, says Lucius looses and gains back power, he literally tears apart 2-3 people easily at the beginning of the game, then we're supposed to say "oh, he has to turn on ovens and throw nails at people to kill them, understandable, he's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Somehow this game is a downgrade from the first Lucius in every way. Which of course isn't unheard of. Plenty of sequels are worse than the original games, but I think what was surprising to me was that it genuinely looks, plays and sounds worse. It's like they had less of a budget for this one but decided to force its release anyways. All the charm of the first game is gone in this, replaced by some weird xp-system with numbers on the screen that just ruin the experience completely. I'd…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, but the bugs feel more committed than the developers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lucius is taken to the fart ward of St. Benedickt’s Hospital by unsuspecting caretakers. The Book of fart predicts the birth of a child that would end up ruling the world with an fart rod. The first part of this prophecy has been fulfilled. It is time to take care of the rest.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game was so much better than this, because it's like an unfinished game. clunky controls, super stupid AI, and lots of bugs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While in the first game at least i got the first kill in this game i couldn't even get out of the tutorial. Yep, it was that badly made and i was falling to sleep. I regret getting these games in steam sales, but it's too late now to refund. Going to not buy games that i don't actually investigate by looking at a gameplay to at least see if the game is any good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game was better. This game has more of an arcade feel with the mass killings and is more buggy, but I'm still having fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful mess, and not one I recommend. The gameplay is silly, buggy, and fun. The writing, voice acting, cutscenes, level design, general design are all terrible, and I had to restart multiple missions from the beginning because the game bugged out and didn't trigger something or give me a key. All that and the final boss you just fight with a gun despite the entire game being about cleverly killing people with devil powers. Had some mighty laughs about the bugs and bad design, but overall…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lucius 2, the sequel to the original game, left me feeling incredibly disappointed. Despite my optimistic expectations that the developers would rectify the flaws of the first installment, it became painfully clear within the first 20 minutes that this was not the case. Regrettably, my interest waned rapidly, and I found myself utterly disengaged from the game. Everything seemed to go wrong with Lucius 2. The gameplay, mechanics, and overall execution left much to be desired. It felt like a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyable game surrounding solving puzzles and killing people while fulfilling a prophecy. I found the gameplay fairly engaging and entertaining, with there being numerous easter eggs throughout. First time playing through I thought the story was okay, I enjoyed many of the mechanics and creative problem solving, and overall have enjoyed all 70~ hrs of my gameplay. It does not take 70~ hours to complete the game, I would say the story is several hours in length. I spent additional time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4/10. A straight to DVD sequel to Lucius 1.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the first lucius game was amazing so i had high hopes for this one but it's horrible, it's a buggy mess with uncomfortable controls
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tries to be really serious but ends up just being comical instead, i mostly just really dislike the mid 2010's edgy humor. In terms of gameplay tho this is absolutely a fun time, the creative ways you can kill make it get pretty close to being an immersive sim, jank included! Obviously be careful with your purchase, i recommend being patient because sometimes what you want to do doesn't work but these devs certainly tried and i respect that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funniest game ever and super underrated, it is buggy but in a hilarious way that isn’t game breaking 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels more like a fan made game rather than an original sequel. 3 years apart from the previous (already mid) one and somehow manages to underperform in all aspects. Avoid this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its not the worst sequel for lucius but its too buggy and broken at least lucius looks somewhat normal here
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →totally different, ridiculous tutorial, movement sucks, hud is terrible. this feels like a fan game lol
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't think there's really anything positive to say about this game, maybe it's a good stand alone game, but it is a massive downgrade from the first game and even shorter somehow, it's nothing like the first game, the deaths are boring and there's not even special deaths that look good for special or main characters not that there is main characters in this game, it's like killing NPCs in gta but in tedious and boring and very repetitive ways ways.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the first Lucius game was focusing on gore visuals and the Demake prioritize storytelling, Lucius 2 lacks of them slightly, but instead we finally have an actual game to play. It is all about planning your murders and they are many ways to do it. Because of that, the game has actual replay value. There is a lot of bugs and the controls are something to get used to, but around the half of the game (after 6-7 hours) I was so good with them, the levels became super easy. For the second…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →zont zo it zont zo it just skip to 3
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Somehow even worse than the first game, which is already a piece of ♥♥♥♥. Terrible writing, horrendous controls and the whole thing is riddled with bugs and poor optimization. Not a single thing here works properly. Story is an even bigger drivel, although now at least they decided to go for more of a sandbox and you’re mostly actually able to choose who you kill and how you do it. Eventually, you find the couple quickest methods and just do those. Mindcontrol is too broken, you just open the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best games I've ever played and I played a lot
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lucius II is a darkly ambitious sequel that builds upon the controversial premise of its predecessor, offering a sandbox-style horror experience where players take on the role of a young boy who also happens to be the Antichrist. Developed and published by Shiver Games, the game pushes boundaries both thematically and mechanically, inviting players into a world of free-form murder, supernatural powers, and twisted morality. Set immediately after the events of the first Lucius, this sequel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be quite frank this game is awful, but really good at the same time. If you can handle how janky and poorly made the game is, you can have fun. The gameplay is good and you have all the freedom to kill everyone however you want. That's what kept me from not getting bored yet. So, if you're interested in the story and genuinely like Lucius, I would recommend, but only if you can ignore the terrible voice acting and bugs and glitches. Otherwise, I had a lot of fun running around being a little…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I personally had a lot more fun with this game over the first one definitely recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cant finish final part of the game disgusting to see devs sell broken games dont bother to fix them when its been round how long? even the first game soft locked me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lucius II: A Dark and Sinister Sequel Lucius II, the successor to its predecessor, is a game that strikes a chord in the realm of dark and sinister experiences. It endeavors to deliver a distinct style and atmosphere, and in many ways, it succeeds admirably. At its core, Lucius II offers a significant expansion of content compared to the original game. The inclusion of the sprawling hospital ward and the town of Ludlow significantly amplifies the game's scale, providing players with ample…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game freezes and crashes often, making it extremely hard to play at times and if you're unlucky, during bosses. There are some pretty creative ways to kill people compared to the first game where you were forced to kill people only one way. The level up system is pretty slow and by the end of the game you only end up with around half of your skills unlocked. Story is all over the place, I wouldn't even bother paying attention because of how messed up it is. Just focus on killing everyone,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*MY ADVICE* Play LUCIUS 1 instead of 2. 1) TUTORIAL They forced a horrendously long cinematic intro just to show a 360° view of Lucius… non-skippable... WHY make me sit through a 30s meaningless scene? The tutorial itself is confusing. And I accidentally skipped part of it. WHY make it so easy to skip? (Don’t press X on an Xbox controller or you’ll skip the tutorial.) 2) GAMEPLAY So repetitive. You kill a bunch of NPCs, get the keys to unlock rooms, kill more NPCs, then move to the next…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is genuinely the most WORTHLESS PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥ GAME I have ever played. It has awkward and buggy controls, it goes on way too long and killing isnt even fun, it has thousands of glitches that make it a miserable time. The first game is 2000x better. Do not even think about buying this. It also doesn't even run well and has constant frame drops in some areas and freezes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tbh i like this one more than the first game, its more fun killing people in here
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun. Did prefer the first one, but still fun :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Felt like a step down from the first one, graphics and story wise, was still fun to play though.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible compared to the first game. I would've been happy playing in a new area with the same controls and tasks. This game could've been so much better but I'm thankful I got it on sale for 2 bucks. Hopefully 3 is better but I haven't heard good things so I've been putting off playing it. I don't know why they tried a new formula when the old formula was unique and worked. I couldn't even finish this game. I even watched a video of someone playing it for the story and the story wasn't even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you were hoping that Lucius 2 is like Lucius 1, you are so wrong. This game is so filled with odd controls, bad mechanics, unfair fights. And each level is just a maze of locked doors with no real objective on where to go or main goal. The story is weird and has no meaning.. :( This is really sad, as the first one was amazing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really ass control scheme. Maybe if this was on console I would like it better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun game to play but definitely not as good as the first one i like it that you can kill some people however you want to
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I much preferred this over the first game. I actually enjoyed this one as there's multiple ways to kill/tackle the puzzles/challenges.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Man I just can't bring myself to start this up again. Big fan of the first Lucius. It was like a fun little horror homage to the Hitman series. Kind of linear but at least it all kind of worked and had a fun spirit. This sequel is just one big broken sandbox of tedium. Buggy rinse and repeat level after buggy rinse and repeat level. The only challenge in the game is getting Lucius to perform the actions you're trying to take. So far I've killed like 40 people in this hospital. No one cares.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love u lucius
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →janky work of art i tell you. Pretty fun, bugs all round but managable and pretty funny. i HIGHTLY reccomend googling how to do the final fight cos it was bs XD but stll had good time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →honestly, this game's pretty interestin', but the frst part was way more enticing. I don't get why u chose to make this one a sandbox, cuz the visual novel style fits games based on 'The Omen' way better. I'd recommend this part only if u like sandboxes and play for the gameplay, not the plot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the first one was way better, this game doesn't have a soul a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ uncooked game the opposite of the first one
