One more puzzle… and suddenly it’s 4am Why did I leave this game in the backlog for so long? This is one of those cozy puzzle surprises that quietly becomes a favorite. The idea is really simple and deeply satisfying: deduce where items belong by following anywhere from 3 to 25 precise instructions. Each puzzle feels like tidying up chaos with pure logic, and watching environments clean themselves up as you solve them is oddly calming. If colorful, deduction-based puzzles are your comfort…

This is shaping up to be my most treasured find from the steam summer sale. For the price and the amount of content, it is an ABSOLUTE steal! I love it so much, I literally ran to buy the accompanying DLC content. I would describe this as a cute (and perhaps not so overtly cozy), logic based deduction puzzle game. It does have a certain level of difficulty that offers a little brain tease which is why I wouldn't put it in the same genre as a cozy puzzle. That being said, I find it really…

Logic Town is an excellent game full of Einstein-style puzzles. There is a built-in hint system that shows you which clue gives you information you can act on, which actually helped me learn a few new strategies for this type of puzzle that I couldn't figure out on my own. I used to get stuck and frustrated in other apps for this style of puzzle, but the hinting system in this game opened my eyes. I enjoyed the main "plot" puzzles, but I also love doing the daily challenges! The main plot does…

A cute little puzzle game. I liked these already as a kid, was looking forward to try them once again and was not disappointed. The background music is very soothing and the puzzles are not complicated but just enough to take your mind off other things. The graphics are very simple, not much to look at but that's okay for me. The aesthetic makes for a good kid's game. Misclicks are also not punished, so no frustration here. (Misclicks did happen to me a few times because a "short left mouse…

The packaging is cute, and the logical deductions start nice.. but don't get more complex or interesting. It's just the same conditions over and over again with similar looking items in different environments. Not worth the asking price, and the DLCs also look like they don't add change the core gameplay. If you are interested in logic puzzles Logic Masters website has fantastic free puzzles with about a thousand times more variety than here.

Clues are written very vaguely, the UI doesn't tell you how many mistakes you've made/have left before you fail the puzzle, and on the daily puzzles I've gotten some where you aren't given enough clues to figure everything out which is a complete and utter failing for a game like this. If Inspector Parker were on Steam I'd recommend that instead for a better implementation of this kind of game.

Ok - I can't stop playing this game! Even though I suck at it, I come back each day to play the daily challenges. I'm not getting better, but I am having fun! The main game is somewhat story driven with you having to rebuild things for the different characters. Each time you want to build or repair something, you must play a grid-based logic game filled with pictures and you have to determine what goes together based on the clues. The wording of the clues is a bit awkward, but if you don't…

The best thing about Logic Town is when you get far enough through a puzzle that everything just falls into place. In that sense, it's comparable to solitaire but every "deal" is winnable. I also like how you feel yourself improve as a player over time. When I started, I was slow, reading each clue carefully and making mistakes here and there. Now, I don't even need to read the clues and can clear large puzzles much faster without mistakes. Why? Because you naturally start to recognize…

Look. The game is exactly what it looks like. If you like grid logic puzzles, great! I'm giving it a positive review because at the end of the day, its a perfectly decent grid logic puzzle with new daily grids and a little monthly progression to keep you coming back. I have issues, though. My problem with the game is that its just really boring. The themes don't grab me, which I then start making mistakes, because I start losing track. Take the Bakery theme. I finished the game's main content but got kind of bored. Like others said it's essentially just the same puzzles but with different icons in different locales. Without new mechanics being introduced in each area there's not much else to say. Worth picking up on a sale if you really like logic games but prepare for it to be a lot of the same.

TLDR Pure-deduction zebra puzzle game, charming setting with little depth, all puzzles procedurally generated, gets repetitive. [10/20⭐, 11h🏅, 3/5💡] Context Logic Town is a pure-deduction zebra puzzle game, with a cutesy layer on top. But despite the friendly animals-in-need tone, the puzzles can get pretty challenging. Logic Town is a good but simple execution of a classic elimination constraint logic puzzle (Everett Kaser's Sherlock is another in the same vein). I do recommend it because it has a kind of relaxing, hypnotic quality and the package is well put together -- if you just want to lean back and zen out, I totally recommend this -- but I will mostly write to say that I don't think this is a particularly interesting or fruitful puzzle design. A puzzle consists of a series of columns and rows. Each…

It took me around 60 hours to 100% achievements. There are no DLC achievements. So, buying the DLCs is not required to 100% the game. Nonetheless, the DLCs aren't bad. Good logic game. More advice to the dev' than anything, I would have wanted to see the scenes populated with NPCs, doing things in simple idle animations. Moving them around, and adding more workers, and customers over time would have enhanced the feeling of progression, and given the world a lived in feeling. Granted, that…

The game’s main focus is helping 12 NPC tidying up environments by clearing a set of logic puzzles. Each environment is themed after a location (restaurant, hotel etc.) and every time you finish a puzzle, the percentage of that NPC increases until you reach 100%. The logic puzzles are about removing objects until there is one unique object left in every spot by reading text and drawing conclusions based on that. The challenge usually increases until you complete all the puzzles associated with…

The art style is nice, and working toward an overall goal to see an area evolve hooked me immediately and made me want to keep playing. I have to give this a thumbs down as there is no in-between option. The game is well done and challenging, but the puzzles are all pretty much the same logic and very repetitive after while. Still something I would go back to occasionally but not worth the normal price. However that alone would not lead to me giving a thumbs down. The clincher here is the daily puzzle with leaderboard. A nice logic deduction/puzzle game. Most levels, if not all, can be solved by repeatedly employing a few basic tactics. So this is not the kind of puzzle game that keeps you on your toes by constantly introducing new mechanics. Instead, it’s a relaxing game where you can just solve a few levels every now and then until you got enough for the day. Also nice images, but I probably have some sort of dis(something) and I too often make mistakes during solving when images are too similar - like 2 kinds of brown butterflies in one puzzle, all these flying insects, and so on. What impresses me here is that a game full of logic puzzles doesn't need a storyline and cute animal characters, but they went ahead and did it. Thusly every puzzle along the main storyline rewards you with fixing up another part of the town. The puzzles vary in difficulty from 3x3 to 6x6 complexity and you can choose to have written clues that you can analyze one by one, or view them all in shorthand pictures. There is a little campaign mode. I blew through that quickly. What I spend most of my time playing is the free play mode-endless puzzles and replayability. I like how after beating the story mode, there's still a lot of reasons to play. I didn't like the Country Fair DLC--it has people eating mantis shrimp and hermit crabs!?! I understand using a railway symbol as a book symbol, but eating hermit crabs is going too far. The logic puzzles are well-designed, the town-building aspect is charming, and the cute art style makes solving each story feel relaxing and cozy. This game is pretty cute, but I can give it only a medium rating. It's probably great for younger players, or folks who *really* want to zone out for a bit. The game gives away too many straight clues, and also doesn't allow the player to make mistakes. So if you accidentally try to cross off the wrong option, a red WHOOPS appears and gives away the answer.
