I bought it for the graphics, but after just 30 hours in, I encounter bugs and got often irritated playing. It's difficult to optimise anything, not because of the thinking needed, but the lack of information from the devs. I do not recommend for experience gamers. If you have more than 50 hours playing CIV, you'll be disappointed. About the management experience Like banished, you cannot control your work…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game would be fun if it had a sandbox mode or more forgiving dynamics, such as the ability to take out loans. This is a simple solution to its problem that would increase its player base and boost sales. But that common sense is nowhere to be found. The bigger issue is that the game was poorly play tested (or play tested with trainers and developer commands that players will not normally have access to). The workers tire too rapidly, work too slowly, and overall the game is just unbalanced.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game. It seemed like a great concept with a fun art style. Unfortunately the game is bogged down by horrible AI. You cannot directly assign workers to jobs, and even though I have 4 of the same workstations, and 20 workers, 19 of the workers are just standing around or hanging out in breakrooms while you watch your deadline tick away and your account drain while 1 worker makes 2 parts and has to take a break himself. It feels like it takes longer for tired workers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This could be the best factory simulation games. The details on what you produce is eye candy. But the bugs! Many of them will break your play. If you get caught in those bugs then good luck. It's usually permanent no matter how far you rollback. You can only start fresh and your days will be wasted. It's OK to play it casually. But stop wishing a dream factory here. It's been long abandoned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun for a little while, but it becomes apparent that the game hasn't been balanced, or likely thoroughly tested. 1. I had all techs unlocked, all workers busy making top-tier, and I was still hemorrhaging money. This is to say nothing of the difficulty spikes when ramping up your factory. Reminds me of the insane and unbalanced difficulty of Cities in Motion. 2. Bad performance issues; game ran at 100% CPU at all time, and the lag got so bad when I expanded the factory to only half the empty…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too buggy in the way that blocks your progress. The game is quite fun, but when things just stop working for no reason and there's nothing you can do about it, well, spoils the fun. Releasing an even buggier DLC instead of fixing the bugs is a no-go. It's a shame, a bit more effort and the game would be a good one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has been out for a long time and it has some simple game breaking bugs that the devs could easily fix but they are clearly not bothered to fix it. It is not possible to play it with these bugs like a worker getting stuck not being able to place an ordered item like a plant, then the worker is stuck and there is nothing you can do about it. It is ridiculous. Yet the devs are working on new games. I am not on which planet these devs live but it is not earth. This game is BROKEN
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dear developers, next time when you make great base for game like you did with Little Big Workshop please finish the job and use that great base to actually make a game (campaign, story mode, missions). So close and so far
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I reviewed this game 15 hours in, it'd have been a positive review. However, as you progress towards the late game, it becomes tedious and frustrating. The AI and pathfinding are a mess. Though I like to think I have a very decent and efficient production line, workers and stations idle for no reason for minutes sometimes. You can't do anything about it, they just jerk off in the break room. Creating a plan for a product feels like a tedious chore, not a creative or strategic process. You…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm somewhere in the middle regarding recommending this game. But ultimately, due to bugs and other issues at its core, I have to lean towards not recommending it. The game obviously doesn't know who its target audience is. The graphics style and general vibe of the game suggests it's a chill management style of game. But the unforgiving deadlines, difficult money management in later parts of the game, and constant tweaks to stay profitable suggests otherwise. The first part of the game:…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The stock is so poorly handled that it ruins the experience with ineficiency. Parts can only be used in the scheduled production, so if you waned to change the production or piritize another one you could not use the parts that you already crafted. You have no information regarding the costs of production and margins. Creating a blueprint for a product is tedious, not a creative or strategic process. You need to click on each part to chose the material and the crafting station. You can't select…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have some bugs. works not working. AI is horrible, even trying to set different sequences, I often need to rearrange the queue because it will just stuck the working process. and workers just stand there doing nothing. I think this need to be fixed on the logic. and sometimes the graphic just went crazy, and I cannot see the screen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an ok factory game, and it is not a bad game, but you will probably get tired of it relatively fast. There are some things that get in the way of it being a really good factory game. If you really try to optimize a factory you will likely get annoyed by the things you cannot control. For example the output storage for a workstation cannot be specified, a workstation can have only one input storage. Storage cannot be managed to permit only certain items. So a task which needs to assemble…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tedious and difficult in an unfavorable way. Making any sort of progress takes a ton of trial and error.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Constant bug of "employees" stop with working and start gathering in their break room.......
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was bit skeptic, because game looked like overly cute kids game. But it was just appearance fooling me. This game combines economic strategy with factory layout design. And it does it in amazingly fun way. Tweaking material flow in factory feels satisfying. And product and manufacturing design add more options to player. One could try to make universal factory, decent for most products. Or tune factory for selected products only. This given plenty of evolving puzzles. Playability is great,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know what they do in Sweeden, but the rest of thr world doesn't take a break every few minutes
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried to like it, but... it just feels repetive. Once you got the point (about 2 hours in), there is not really anything more to come.. Even worse, later in the game you unlock things that make you have to do even less things (like auto-repair and Uber-workbenches that just work for 5 different things at 200%, making almost all "challenges" trivial). In the end, I was just fast-forwarding, watching YouTube and only clicking once or twice to start the next "challenge" (not really) every…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its hard to give a review of this game. It is quite fun but just not finished. The devs abandoned it while it just needed a bit more love! If they made this modable i would've give it a positive review. The camera, automation and balancing is just really frustrating. Placing is not nice to and making your house bigger is almost impossible some times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →x3 speed is probably 50 times too slow.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a game once per year I have a notion to play and I have fun with it for the 10 hours or so I play it. I didn't even realise the game was abandoned or that it had so few reviews, but on sale it's definitely worth it. Complaints are valid (lack of depth in decorations, lots of planning and micro-managing) but it's still a fun game. Especially until you realise it becomes more of that for the rest of the game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth it, only on a huge sale Abandoned by devs before really fleshed out or finished but there's still semblance of a good game here. It's fun to set up rooms and workshops, move things around to clear walkways and make sure supplies are on the right shelf at the right time, juggling several orders to maximise profit. There's /some/ fun here to be had if you get it on sale. DLC is just more products, not worth getting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4.5/10 not a fan of the UI
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a good game and I'd love to give it a thumbs up, but ... Last patch was 4 years ago. Abandoned by the devs.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a Thumb Sideways. Might be fun for children as a cutesy Nintendo game but it was too much like being at work. It was in my wishlist for a very long time and I should have just avoided trying it. Its not particularly bad, its just boring. its like if you took a survival game with crafting and removed the survival part. Of if you played Minecraft but all you did was grind out items other players asked for and never left your house. Ill be refunding this despite having only spent $5…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fairly opaque management game, where you can easily find yourself in a spiral towards game over without anything obvious that you've done wrong besides not produce the same thing x1000 to build up a massive money cushion before expanding or experimenting. A game that could use a lot of polish and further tutorializing for those that don't enjoy trial and error with the micro management. The aesthetic is nice, the fundamental ideas are sound, but ultimately not enjoyable once you scale up from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't recommend this game due to a few caveats. The short version of this is as follows: - This game is better in the early game. The first 10-15 hours are a pretty good time. - After that, it feels more and more like the game's development and testing was focused on the early game and not the late-game situation. Pros: - This game is an interesting take on a factory building game. The demands and desires of the public shift, which encourages you to build a flexible factory that can be…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Verdict 👍 Recommended (but not for me) I tried Little Big Workshop for about 0.1 hours and then turned it off. Nothing was “wrong” with it — it simply didn’t click with me at all, and I could tell immediately it’s not my kind of game. Still, I’m recommending it because I can see how it could be genuinely fun for players who enjoy management, optimization, and building efficient production lines over time. Quick signals 💸 Value: ✅ "That'll do, pig. That'll do." 🖥️ Requirements: ✅ Minimum 🎨…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUILD ADVANCED ASSEMBLERS. They will break your game as objects get stuck in the queue and if you try to remove the object from the queue, it will get sent straight back onto the same machine and get stuck again causing every single work order to get put on hold indefinitely.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →too many bugs that need fixing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is frustrating to say the least. I have no idea how many times I have started over because I went bankrupt lol, but I can't seem to stop playing it. Frustrating but fun. Definitely recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The developers refuse to implement basic ideas the community wants. inverted camera roatating is default and has no setting to revert the change. Mood makes no sense, put plants all over the place taking up VALUABLE space when you still get a debuff for having a big room. People want to not have mood, its a work shop. Not a house, it doesnt need tiny rooms that can only fit 5 machines, a REAL shop is one massive building only 4 exterior walls can put machines anywhere.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is pretty fun, probably 25-30 hours worth of gameplay. Not to be taken too seriously, and relaxing! Any of the reviews talking about balance just suffer from massive skill issue. I was flush with cash and kept it rolling in pretty quick.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →seems like a tapping a waiting game but on pc and missing the key ingredient that is speeding up with money. first impressions rather poor but will update if i try again and not hate it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →VERY poorly balanced game that just makes it unfun to play. Building: The building is... okay. Aside from the fact shifting things around is made utterly unbearable by the fact that if something is in that spot you have to move it first and doors don't even get me started. It turns into a week long project just to move things around. Upgrades: The level up upgrades after level 1 which unlocks machines seem very unintuitive and are honestly just not great. Difficulty: If you like suffering…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game. It becomes less menagable as you expand and there will be bugs, but main game loop is quite satisfying, to plan a production and then execute on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's really fun building up the business the first 10 hours but there comes a point where it gets too big and you find yourself essentially micromanaging a beehive. I still recommend it if you buy it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game that have surprising depth and unfortunately surprising amount of smaller issues! The game can be quite difficult and have some depth in showing how hard it is to gain a profitable margin on a complex product. How should you divide the workforce, how to layout the factory overall, what materials and which processes should you use to in the end meet the specs of the product and also make a proper profit. Fun to at least have a glimpse of this process myself! But its also very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cute automation game, nothing extra
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth buying only on sale. Fun until you finish the scenario, maybe 25 - 30 hours . The developers did not put much effort in after that. Feels unfinished.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Little Big Workshop is a charming and surprisingly deep management simulation game developed by Mirage Game Studios and published by HandyGames. On the surface, it presents a cozy, toy-like aesthetic that feels accessible and lighthearted, but underneath lies a robust and engaging factory simulation experience. The game challenges players to build, manage, and optimize their own miniature manufacturing empire, beginning with a handful of workers and a few simple machines, eventually evolving…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game, very simple to grasp. Yet scales upward in complication as you go on. Which is one of the aspects that allows players to keep coming back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not for me, but seems to be a good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun, and great game. It's very Addicting I got Glued to it for a very long time. Tip save often because has a challenge and high learning curve. The animations are fluid, the characters are cute and charming swell. The machine are fun to upgrade and unlock. I've been playing it in desktop mode with keyboard and mouse on my 1080p monitor with my deck. THQ Nordic tends to license some good indies. In all I would totally recomend this game very fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Good: Alright, let’s give credit where it’s due—Little Big Workshop is like a fever dream where you’re a tiny god ruling over a tabletop factory, and honestly, that’s dope as hell. The idea of managing adorable little workers who churn out rubber ducks and electric guitars while you cackle like a supervillain is pure gold. It’s got that cozy, sandbox vibe where you feel like you’re building something epic, and the cute art style makes you wanna hug the screen—or at least not smash it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charming and not easy game around building a workshop. Its quite easy to loose if you don't manage your money well. After getting bankrupt the first few times I got the hang of it. - Some of the blueprints are easy, some are really hard. - The music is nice. - The dwarfs are cute. - Many different upgrades. Very addicting. Played it A LOT. - Cute grafics wich are adjustable. - Nice sounds and music. - Easy controls. The steam achievments are a bit weird because part of them you can only…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very addictive management game. The premise is quite simple, but setting up a factory which can efficiently move things around and manufacture goods can be a challenging task. Its a pity there isn't any new content anymore as the base game is solid. I hope they will do a sequel one day!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finally tackled the Little Big Workshop DLC, and 100%ed achievements. I hope they keep making DLC for that game, it's really great.
unlabelledView post →This is a fun factory game. Lots of great recipes and it has an ending. However, it doesnt take very long to get to it and while I'm enjoying building out my factory, I have a ton of money with nothing to do with it. I wish there was a late game goal to achieve. Worth the money though and a great add to the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its very addicting but careful.... it looks very cute but its actually more difficult then you would think at the start.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved Little Big Workshop from @miragegamestudios.bsky.social and now I get to check out their new game, Space for Sale, that recently released into early access! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftWZ...
unlabelledView post →In short, I can recommend this game, but there are a few "buts." On the positive side, the game is really enjoyable. It's fun to play, managing the factory is great and climbing the "ladder of companies" gives a lot of satisfaction. However, over time, after about 7-9 hours, the game stops being so exciting. The challenges are no longer difficult because you have a large factory, many machines and many workers. At this point, a new challenge would be useful, but only for a player who already…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Love this game. Could it be better? Yes. Does it have some bugs? Yes. Doesn't matter. in two weeks I've played 96.6 hours. I played more hours per week then my full time job. Yes, I found this game addicting. I keep wanting to try new and different ways to make my workshop better. I haven't been this instantly sucked into a game since autonauts. It's a time management game with some easy economics. If you find those fun, I highly recommend giving this a try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this style of game, but I can never get into this one. I think its that there are very few real decisions to make. You really only pick what you want to make, then play a mini-game to select what types of items meet the criteria and which workbenches to use. If you do well, you get to watch for less time, if you do poorly, you just have to wait longer for the task to complete. Either way, its just wait until they are done, and micromanage, adding more complexity to the select stuff mini…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly still inlove with this game over 5 years now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is cute and interesting enough to grab you for a bit. But.... If you're anything like me, and get annoyed at idiotic friction due to bad UX, well... I can't recommend it. The number of unintuitive things in the UI simply kills the game appeal for me. I've had to restart it too many times just because there is a lack of visible warnings of problems and the UX is designed to maximize micromanagement. As it stands I'd give it a 4/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a cute logistics / economy engine type game. Get contracts, make friends with VIP clients, and become the best little big workshop. I find it very relaxing to see my workers do their best and then going for a cuppa.
