unlabelledView post →Lifeforce (1985) Directed by Tobe Hooper starring Steve Railsback, Peter Firth, Frank Finlay, and Mathilda May. The film received mixed reviews and was a box office failure, but has since become a cult classic.
unlabelledView post →Less than 1.5 hours until LIFEFORCE, the 1985 space vampire movie that I have been aware of for quite some time without ever actually seeing it. That changes tonight, when we will experience it collectively for #horrorwatch. Be there (Tubi at 9 ET) or be square!

unlabelledView post →4. Lifeforce (dir. Tobe Hooper, 1985). Is this a good movie? Absolutely not. Is this a fun, batshit, one of its kind movie? 1000% yes. It's like an episode of Doctor Who fed enough viagra to kill a herd of elephants and locked in a room with nothing to read but Freud and Stoker.
unlabelledView post →Happy 40th anniversary to the sci-fi horror film #Lifeforce which was released On This Day 21/6/85. Directed by Tobe Hooper.

unlabelledView post →Revisited LIFEFORCE tonight and what an opulent, stunning, whole lot of movie. It’s Bram Stoker’s 2001 by way of a two-page Fangoria magazine gore spread. I don’t know if it’s Tobe Hooper’s best, but it might just be my favorite of his work. So many ideas, so much delivery. Sometimes more IS more.
unlabelledView post →#letterboxdfriday #lastfourwatched #horrorsky #filmsky Lifeforce: Fun sci-fi to zombie movie Two Evil Eyes: 2 stories, pretty tame Noseeums: not much to see here An American Werewolf in Paris: romance more than transformation, disappointed
unlabelledView post →Picking a random film from my collection to show off for no real reason! Day #137 "Lifeforce" (Tobe Hooper/1985) Hooper's epic and completely bonkers Cannon film about space vampires. This film is worth watching just for how crazy things get and how over the top it goes. Check it out!
unlabelledView post →I feel like not enough people know that the creepy animatronic head at the core of Duran Duran's iconic Wild Boys video, shot at Pinewood Studios, is *literally* the rubber cast of Patrick Stewart's head used in Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce, which was shot at Pinewood Studios *right* before Wild Boys.
unlabelledView post →"Lifeforce" had alien vampires, and I'm pretty sure this is the only scene in the movie where she wore clothes.
unlabelledView post →LIFEFORCE is legitimately a great movie, zero irony
unlabelledView post →just rewatched LIFEFORCE (1985) and by god this film has EVERYTHING -a score ripped off by "Baldur's Gate" -a 3rd act ripped off by "Mass Effect 3" -a lead villain who's naked for 90% of her screentime -Patrick Stewart making out w/a guy -based on the novel "The Space Vampires" -fucking grim ending
unlabelledView post →Picking a random film from my collection to show off for no real reason! Day #30 "Lifeforce" (Tobe Hooper/1985) Hooper's completely bonkers film about space vampires. This was Cannon Films' most expensive production. You got to check this one out!
unlabelledView post →The NERVA rocket in Lifeforce is wildly overpowered. How am I supposed to take this space vampire movie seriously?
unlabelledView post →Mathilda May in Lifeforce. Slightly goofy movie, but if we're talking "best anyone has ever looked" she's def on the list. (This is a SFW pic, she has to be one of the most physically flawless humans ever born)

unlabelledView post →#nowwatching Lifeforce (1985) Okay, so I love this movie. There's psychic space vampires, a zombie apocalypse, and London burns to the ground. What's not to love? Oh, and Patrick Stewart's here. Rock on. #horrorsky #filmsky #moviesky
unlabelledView post →#LastFourWatched for this blessed #LetterboxdFriday - This week was a banger. The Holiday was a super ridiculous romcom, Jude Law is far too attractive in this movie; it's distracting. One Battle After Another was an absolute banger, so suspenseful the entire second half. Lifeforce... Words cannot

unlabelledView post →Quite happy to be surprised by Lifeforce as the #horrorwatch pick! I have cherished this movie since my teenage brain was shocked by it; haven’t seen it in decades. Mute the tag as needed.
unlabelledView post →Been a week, so a late night movie with Lifeforce! A film with two big things everyone remembers. Patrick Stewart having a gay kiss and Dwayne Barry from the X-Files having more trouble with aliens.
unlabelledView post →Now watching: Lifeforce (1985), which is apparently either a terrible movie or a space vampire cult classic depending on who you ask
unlabelledView post →RLM is doing a best of the worst which includes Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce (1985), a film in which all of patrick stewart's blood pours out of his head and becomes a hot goth babe
unlabelledView post →I watched Lifeforce, and it is, indeed, a batshit crazy weird movie. Picture a reimagined Plan 9 From Outer Space filled with sequences borrowed from a bunch of successful genre movies made in the late 70's and early 80's.
unlabelledView post →One of the more awesome developments in my life as of late is my sister getting into genre film and us strengthening our bond over movies like Lifeforce and The Guyver
unlabelledView post →This movie is Lifeforce (1985) for people who don't know what sex is
unlabelledView post →Tonight’s movie was 1985’s LIFEFORCE from @arrowvideo.bsky.social. It was… really great actually? Totally bananas, a bizarro R-rated Doctor Who/Quatermass mash-up. For a film made in 1985 it sure looks like it was made in 1975 (just with better SFX). Great 4K restoration.

unlabelledView post →Watching this movie Lifeforce it's got the BBB stamp of approval (Boobs Bush Butt)
unlabelledView post →Lifeforce in 4K is crazy to me. Absolutely no shade to the VFX which are in fact quite good but that movie is the most "made to be watched in pan and scan on Space Channel at midnight" movie to ever exist
unlabelledView post →I’ll die on the hill that Lifeforce is the ultimate 80s cult horror film!
unlabelledView post →Southland Tales, Lifeforce, and Jawan belong to my favorite subgenre of film, "ten movies crammed into one"
unlabelledView post →Spooky movie rec day 17 Lifeforce (1985). Two words: space vampires. Also Patrick Stewart. Also a topless Mathilda May entranced me the first time I saw this. But still! Space vampires!
unlabelledView post →What's a dumb movie you will stan to the ends of time? Lifeforce Naked space vampires tricked out like a reverse harem anime. Halley's comet being a goddamn spaceship. And Patrick Stewart, just because. Brilliant. I will never hear an unkind word about this fucking film.
unlabelledView post →Lifeforce (1985) Tobe Hooper directs this British sci-fi horror about space vampires invading Earth. Cult film that is chiefly remembered for Mathilda May's extensive nude scenes. Also stars Steve Railsback and Patrick Stewart.
unlabelledView post →Everyone who liked this: I See You. Everyone wondering WTF: watch LIFEFORCE. Trust me. The fact that it is the only topless french space vampire/zombie film ever made (starring Sir Patrick Stewart!) in no way detracts from it being the GREATEST topless french space vampire/zombie movie ever made.
unlabelledView post →This movie provided the DNA of LIFEFORCE and I adore both

unlabelledView post →Ah, LIFEFORCE, the gayest movie about men chasing after a naked woman ever made.
unlabelledView post →Now watching Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce. I don't love this film, but I want to.

unlabelledView post →In Canada you couldn’t get into a Restricted movie if you were under 18 even with parental accompaniment so my first few R rated movies, you had to pass for 18 at the box office which didn’t always work. It did for Lifeforce and Year of the Dragon and Aliens
unlabelledView post →I saw an interview with Tobe Hooper where he said he once turned on the TV and they were showing his film Lifeforce so he decided to watch it since it had been many years since he'd seen it. He said he realized when rewatching it that he understood the film's themes for the first time
unlabelledView post →Movie night is TONIGHT since I'll be at TCM Film Fest over the weekend. In honor of Saros we're doing COSMIC HORROR! I remember Lifeforce has a lot of boob so at least we'll enjoy that. Movies start around 6PM PT, getting my ass kicked by Saros until then - lawdogg.tv
unlabelledView post →Ok. Time to decompress. Tonight's movie is 80s vampires in space, aka Lifeforce.
