unlabelledView post →Rewatched the Werner Herzog NOSFERATU (1979) last night, hadn’t seen it in decades. Man does it hold up. Klaus Kinski’s Dracula is an amazing performance. The movie is visually stunning. Rat content warning: LOTS OF RATS.
unlabelledView post →The upcoming Oswald series on Disney+ will be produced and animated by SPA. The same studio who has brought us the critically acclaimed film, Klaus!
unlabelledView post →Klaus is an animation breakthrough & anomaly. It was the first (& to my knowledge, only) feature-length animated film to use 2D art, but a 3D lighting system This created one of the most unique looking animated movies, not just of the 2010’s, but all-time. #animation #2d #cartoon #klaus #filmsky
unlabelledView post →The composer of the ‘Das Boot’ movie soundtrack has died aged 89 on October 16th. For us who grew up in the 1980s in West Germany, Das Boot was one of the defining movies of that era. Its haunting soundtrack must have been the first album that I owned. 🕯️ R.I.P. Klaus Doldinger (1936-2025).
unlabelledView post →can't believe it took me this long, but I finally watched the movie Klaus and holy shit??? What a masterpiece?????
unlabelledView post →this movie drives me insane (in a good way), because in the same way people were surprised that Spider-Verse 1 was 3D, everyone was surprised Klaus was 2D. those two films did so much to pioneer new visual looks of their respective mediums, and i wish Klaus got more credit for what it did.
unlabelledView post →Just in case you haven't watched it yet. "Klaus" (Netflix) is a real gem that came out with Spider verse, but gets nowhere near that attention. And since Christmas is coming up, you might as well check it out. The animation is stellar. #animation #movie #film
unlabelledView post →Also workin on this month's fanart piece tonight. Ya'll ever watch Klaus? It's a pretty good movie.

unlabelledView post →Was gonna say something like “can’t help put my old man yaoi into everything“ but this movie is pretty gay already.. MERRY CHRISTMAS 💥 #klaus #spamtenna #deltarune
unlabelledView post →We finally saw "Flow", and the friends who had told us it was an exceptional film were wrong; it is a bona fide masterpiece. Director Gints Zilbalodis, who also wrote the beautiful, Klaus Schulzian musical score, is a magician.
unlabelledView post →Fun fact: This was drawn and animated by the same guy who eventually made the movie Klaus. And honestly, if you look at these two, you can see the semblance:
unlabelledView post →I finally watched Klaus. What a beautiful, magical, charming little movie.
unlabelledView post →Hey, turns out Klaus is a perfect little film and also in unrelated news it is raining inside my apartment localized on my eyeballs
unlabelledView post →I finally saw Klaus last night. And even though I wasn't "wowed" at first, the more I think about the film the more a I like it! I think the messages about how one act of kindness inspires another really got to me. A simple message that goes very far.
unlabelledView post →I say this every time I watch it, but A) Klaus is so much better than "a netflix Christmas film" has any right to be, and B) I would give an actual arm for the team who made this to make either a Monkey Island or a Dishonored series. Just imagine.
unlabelledView post →✨ Day 11 - Holiday Rivals - Holiday Movie Marathon 🎥 What do you think would be their go-to holiday movie? I think it would be Klaus and Goro would totally pretend he didn’t cry at the ending. (I'm sorry, I just love that movie so much. 🙃) #HolidayRivals #shuake #akeshu
unlabelledView post →“Klaus” is a great animated movie that you should watch if you haven’t already. It’s on Netflix. You’re welcome.
unlabelledView post →Watched “Klaus” for the first time today and it has immediately become one of my favourite Christmas movie.
unlabelledView post →EXCLUSIVE: 'Klaus' director Sergio Pablos gave an optimistic update on his breathtaking hand-drawn feature 'Ember,' cut by Netflix during a flood of cancellations in 2022. He also gave us a previously unreleased image from the production-ready project. www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film...
unlabelledView post →Almost forgot to upload it here. Just a tribute animation of the movie #Klaus. Done entirely in toonboom except for bg (blender)
unlabelledView post →Aguirre, the Wrath of God is one of the few movies I had to see again the next night. Klaus Kinksi is perfect and the fact Herzog managed to hold this mad movie together is remarkable. Happy birthday to its writer/director, Werner Herzog. (yes, the poster is in my hallway)
unlabelledView post →Saw Klaus Härö's movie "Never Alone" yesterday. As you may know, it's about the wartime deportations of Jewish refugees from Finland. Eight refugees were handed over to the Nazis by the Finnish State Security Police in 1942. All but one perished in Auschwitz. This thread contains my film review.
unlabelledView post →Klaus: a perfectly good kids’ Christmas movie, very enjoyable.

unlabelledView post →I watched Klaus as my first movie of the year. It was a very heartwarming animated movie that made me cry at multiple parts. 😭 Even though we're past Christmas, I'd still recommend that everyone should go and watch it.
unlabelledView post →This week’s ep has it all! Actor Arturo Castro talks about “Matchbox: The Movie”! ✔️ European podcast host Klaus Schmidt connects the dots between science and comedy. ✔️ And radio host Thandie Newman tells of his time spent among mythical creatures. ✔️
unlabelledView post →Amazing how it’s been 6 years and no one has made a movie like Klaus. While im happy that SpiderVerse established a new animation style, Klaus’ style wouldve a been a worthy competitor. Disney COULDVE done it. Bring back 2D but enhance it in ways never seen before. maybe we’ll get one before 2030.
unlabelledView post →Klaus is such a cute movie 😭 Merry Christmas Eve y’all!
unlabelledView post →The Mothership from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, from Marvel comic adaptation of the 1977 movie by Archie Goodwin, Walter Simonson, Klaus Janson, & Marie Severin. I believe they worked with only very limited access to material from the film. Which makes the end result all the more laudable.

unlabelledView post →"Flying Saucer" is the name of the fictional luxury yacht belonging to James Bond villain Maximilian Largo (Klaus Maria Brandauer) in the film Never Say Never Again (1983). In real life, it was the megayacht "Nabila," built for the Saudi billionaire and arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi.
unlabelledView post →Best: Klaus. Animation excellence. Worst: Christmas With the Kranks. Easily one of the most miserable Christmas movies I've ever seen. A movie where I hate every single character and wished the entire cast got wiped out by a meteorite
unlabelledView post →Is there a non-mainstream holiday movie that you love to watch every year? For me, one of them is Klaus. If you have never seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and watch it.
unlabelledView post →annual reminder that KLAUS is a very good and fun Christmas movie on Netflix and not enough people have it on their annual watch lists!!!!

unlabelledView post →now you may THINK that Donkey Kong is the funniest place to tease a Xenoblade movie in a post-credits scene and get all excited, but the actual answer is a 20 year timeskip from the end of the Earthbound movie, showing Jeff choosing to name his son Klaus
unlabelledView post →I loved the animated movie Klaus - here's a Sculpey model I made of Mogens the boatman from the film.
unlabelledView post →I wouldn't have wanted to be the producer responsible for filling out the heath and safety assessment forms on Werner Herzog's 1972 epic Aguirre, The Wrath of God, out today on 4K/UHD from the BFI. Klaus Kinski goes mad as Spanish explorers carry on the jungle. 5/5 film-authority.com/2025/08/25/a...

unlabelledView post →I have to credit the movie KLAUS and it's excellent animation showcase for helping with the wobbles. I referenced it a lot with the third walkcycle. So credit to Sergio Martins! www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_L_...
unlabelledView post →Farewell to film and TV composer Klaus Doldinger, best known for his scores for DAS BOOT (1981) and THE NEVERENDING STORY (1984), both directed by Wolfgang Petersen. #filmsky #moviesky #rip
unlabelledView post →Famously on the set of Fitzcarraldo the chief of tribe was so annoyed at Kinski's aggressively-virgin behaviour he offered to blow Klaus personally if it would shut him up. Werner of course insisted that if Klaus nutted during the production then movie goers would know, and be taken out of the film
