It was originally created by Australian independent developer Black Delta which in 2021 was acquired by Motorsport Games. Outside of some customization options, the only mode that is available is Quick Race and after you've done a race or two, you've pretty much experienced all that this game has to offer. Shame because this was a promising game especially with a sim wheel. Abandonware, do not buy no not even on the $3 sale. It's my understanding this now fails to launch for new players as the servers are offline.

There’s almost no content: while there are three kart categories, the number of tracks is extremely limited. Online multiplayer is completely dead, so there’s no way to race with others. The game feels empty, unfinished, and gets boring fast. If you want a proper karting experience, Automobilista 2 delivers it far better in every way.

The game handles very different to the real kart (more traction irl, the karts acceleration is way off). The multiplayer is dead obviously as it's an older game now but the single player races against AI in VR are still really enjoyable. Would I say it's worth full price? Probably not. But if you see this on sale and you're thinking about buying it to play on VR, do it. It's still a lot of fun zipping around the track.

But unfortunately no multiplayer mode for competition. However I mostly do practice sessions only just to know how realistic the simulation is compare to real karts so I would have some preparations. AI, they are fast but rarely defensive when overtake happens. What a kart sim.

The solo game is alright needs some work for sure.. but the online was where the fun was, the rotating tracks and classes kept it from being stagnet, most of the races were good and fun. sadly its abanded now, dont waste your money if you want to play online, but for a karting sim its really good. i hope they bring servers back online.

I can say that the game is the best game dedicated for a karting experience, with plenty of room for customization and definitely visually stunning graphics. However, the game still contains many bugs, the bugs do not affect your racing experience. I recommend this game to all of you and I rate it 8/10.

It has never been seen in full form, but chasing the leaderboard on different tracks, tuning, improving the setup was absolute fun. It wasn't plug&play, even the 100s needed a fair time to work around the setup, but it gave a real sensation of driving on the edge all the time, no mistake allowed. A great experience overall, ruined by whatever happened into the offices.
