If America really loved Black history, James Armistead Lafayette would have his own blockbuster spy movie by now. Instead, we get another reboot of Batman. #BlackHISTORY

neutral · AI labelView post →I remember when people LOST THEIR MINDS when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman. They were convinced he would suck. Then they saw the film and it broke records. Keaton remains my favorite Batman, with Kevin Conroy a close second. #MovieADay #Movies #Film #Cinema
positive · AI labelView post →Genuinely looks like a scene from a Batman movie where a cartoonishly evil villain somehow makes it onto mainstream media to rant against the establishment.
neutral · AI labelView post →Batman was released 37 years ago today. First film in the UK to receive the 12 certificate. I adored this film at the time, and the Michael Keaton Batman films will always be my definitive film versions of Batman.

neutral · AI labelView post →Watched Batman Returns in the theaters for the first time in my life. Man, that is a top 5 superhero film & perhaps the Burtoniest of all his films. (Scissorhands is close.) A profoundly weird film about the weirdos (Penguin, Catwoman), uninterested in the ostensible lead character. 5 stars.
