unlabelledView post →I have 20 hours in this game and I'm still on Chapter 1 out of 12. After about 20 more hours I'm on chapter 5. This game is long. There is a LOT of content which should surprise no one if you've played the prior games. At first I looked at this game as an obstacle to overcome on my journey through the RRG franchise. A small hurdle on my way back to the JUICE. I didn't realize I was already playing the juice. What a juicy game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Went to the Undertale tour concert. It was amazing💕 It also made me realize something I never noticed while playing. After Asriel's battle theme comes Sans's Judgment. You never fight them back to back in game, so the contrast hits way harder🤔
unlabelledView post →Yagami sure ain't Kiryu or Ichiban. As someone who played nearly every yakuza game this spinoff is somewhere at the bottom of the barrel for me. It just has so many annoying things like the frequent tailing missions which we all can unanimously agree are the worst part of any videogame, or the chasing sequences, lockpicking and active search mode overstay their welcome as well. Perhaps mortal wounds and sluggish combat are another good deterrents. The upgrades definitely help the combat to be…

unlabelledView post →For "Random" Game Saturday, here's Castlevania Judgment on the anniversary of its series. Judgment gets a bit of a bum rap, IMO. I won't claim it's a hidden gem, and it is really lacking in content or complexity for an arena fighter. But for a few hours of goofing around, there is fun to be had.

unlabelledView post →Not bad, but still... You should only touch this game after you completely finish Kiryu and Ichiban whole saga, otherwise the magic wont hit. In the end, its a lazy 7 out of 10. The detective plot about the Mole gouging eyes out is actually super hooking, and Yagami the lawyer beats the crap out of thugs with his Crane and Tiger styles just as good as Kiryu. Plus the Phoenix Wright style courtroom and investigation stuff is pretty neat :)) But to get to this good stuff, you gotta suffer…

What can i say atp, U want me to talk abt the plot and how it starts and getting Bulid in some magical way with taking care of each detail till we finish the Main Story. Or you wanted me to talk abt each character like yagami and kaito or hamura and The Cops and Genda law office ... etc one of the most things i liked abt this masterpiece is the cinematic Cutscenes, the whole definition of GREATNESS its all there in cinematic Cutscenes IT WAS PERFECT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a solid game. I've played all the mainline Yakuza games (excluding remasters), and while it's not quite on par with the games with Kiryu and Majima, it's still more good old Yakuza. Highly recommend getting the Shin Ryu Mod Manager with a few mods though: - Judgment Retrial: overhauls the combat to include improvements from the sequel Lost Judgment. Much needed, the combat feels way smoother and satisfying this way. Way too many abilities are locked behind skill points otherwise, and the…

Only gripe is the gameplay felt too repetitive and some forced side quests I didn’t like. If you want a compelling story in the crime/thriller genre, this is a must play. Solid 9/10 for the story alone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr it's Yakuza but instead of a jacked middle aged dad who is bad at crime, you're a ripped middle aged twink detective who is bad at paying his rent. A really stylish, fun game that was far more like the baseline Yakuza games than I was expecting, which I mean in a complimentary sense. Making the central character a disillusioned former lawyer who still has a strong sense of justice is a good point of difference. Though it touches on many of the same gameplay elements from the Yakuza/Like…

THE GOOD Story Characters Graphics Music Combat and heat actions Performance and stability Great amount of content, both in the main story and the side cases as well as the minigames. THE BAD Tailing missions get repetitive incredibly quickly. Some minigames are pretty brutal. Keihin Gang is super annoying and I would prefer having some…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played «Yakuza», and it seems «Ryu Ga Gotoku» use the same mechanics in the most of their games: you need to beat street thugs, make friends, play darts and mahjong. This one is not an exception. So, guys found their golden recipe and just follow it over and over again. And I have to say it's not bad because they really put effort into this every time: stories are great, characters feel real and alive, a lot of activities in the city and hours of content. I'd say I liked «Judgment»…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After almost 10 hours focused almost exclusively on the main narrative (which, according to How Long To Beat, is almost half the length of the entire story), I find myself compelled to drop the game and not recommend it. If you are not willing to waste at least this amount of time — potentially much more — with practically nothing meaningful happening and an immensely mediocre gameplay experience, I’d say don’t even go near it. Judgment it’s a perfectly functional game that, at first glance…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an absolute banger of a game!!! - THE BEST combat system in the series(at least out of all the games I've played so far); - Top 3 stories for me across the entire RGG catalog(again, so far); - Visually stunning experience; Nothing more needs to be said... For RGG fans - it's a must!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game needs some patience, things really start after Chapter 5. The side quests are fun, and if you’re a Yakuza fan, it’s worth trying, but give it time to hook you.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*Judgment* introduces Yagami and establishes a distinct legal noir framework within RGG catalog. Combining investigative detective work with high-octane brawler action, it reinvents how players interact with Kamurocho. Standing tall on its own two feet, it marks a monumental turning point for the studio, delivering a compelling mystery that sets a new high for narrative design for the studio. World & Atmosphere The story is arguably the single best narrative RGG Studio has ever written.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Severly underrated game, Story building, CGI, Character writing and pacing is amazing although it lacks some side activities which could've made it more fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spoiler-free, just giving some general information. RGG Studio (Yakuza) games can be a bit of a beast to play in terms of time commitment, so I'll start off by stating I'm writing this after wrapping on the main story, right at 50 hours with minimal side activity. I don't normally do this, but I wanted to go start on Lost Judgment. Judgment takes its time and the writers reward you for patience. You're kept in the lurch and convinced you know what's going on, only for it to be not subverted,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game buried under unnecessary padding and frustration design I genuinely love this game’s world, characters, atmosphere, and storytelling. The core experience is outstanding. However, a significant portion of the game feels deliberately designed not to entertain, but to waste the player’s time and test their patience. There is a recurring pattern throughout the game: instead of meaningful challenges or enjoyable diversions, many sections rely on excessive padding, RNG-heavy…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The beginning of something great. If you have not played any games in the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, then there is a lot to like about Judgment. The story is fascinating and examines a lot of current issues in Japanese society in a mature, thought-provoking way. You play as our favourite 35-year old washed up single, slightly awkward, former lawyer down on his luck, operating in a sketchy neighbourhood in Japan you can visit in real life. You fight a lot, but there's also plenty of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game and perfect entry for people that do not want to start with the older yakuza games. This will give you a taste of what rgg stories, side content and combat is really all about while having it's own unique themes and ideas. The game looks amazing still and I really like Yagami's combat style and animations being more acrobatic than any other protagonists in the series. Issues still appear like the boring stalking missions, the godawful mortal wounds mechanic and sometimes the story…
