positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horror game with PS1 graphics taking place at an arcade. I like the idea of having a game inside a game, that's quite unique, but other than that, it doesn't really stick out to me in any way. The overall atmosphere is pretty good, also being chased by a glitch monster is something I haven't really seen anywhere else, however, the chase scenes are more a nuisance. On top of all this, the game has multiple endings, so you can grind those. The game can take less than an hour to finish…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36214917/]Follow our Curator Page, MMM Reviews, for more in-depth reviews and recommendations JANITOR BLEEDS is primarily a horror adventure game with some interesting puzzle elements blended in for good measure. Presentation The most striking thing about JANITOR BLEEDS is the visual design. It’s retro-inspired, but it’s just one element used to create its own style rather than an attempt to clone it perfectly. When combined with the setting of an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok, it's not easy to say or no. At first the game is like a horror walking sim with puzzles. Then it turns into a stealth game, but the entity is stalking you.... really stalking, you can feel its breath all the time, you can't make one step without being chased. It would be okay, if you would see where you are. But your sight gets glitchy and it's dark, so dark like you're stuck in a cow's ass. You have a flashlight, but you can't use it, because the entity notices the light. You're often at a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to say I loved this game but I didn't. This game came down to basically tricking the bad AI far enough away from your objective, quickly running to the objective, finish the objective, rinse and repeat. The visuals are good, the idea was great, but playing it was a chore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is for people who like scary arcades location, location, location - i really liked the setting of this game, and the central mystery was intriguing. going bump in the night .. - there's some great early tension to this one once you're in the arcade, and as the games progress, your necessary interactions facing an Arcade game machine and hearing things happen around you ramp up the tension further. this game isn't for people looking for a deep 'creepypasta horror' experience weak…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic little horror game that delivers really unique scares in a very tight package. Definitely surprised me more than a few times, but never became esoteric to the point where the path forward wasn't clear. Definitely another great showing from HPS1!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting enough idea, and a handful of clever scares. But the monster is a pain to deal with since it screws with your vision and is has a obnoxiously small patrol route sometimes. (Generally exactly where you're trying to sneak.) I also cannot be bothered to replay the whole game for a chance at the good ending, a chapter select would have been a great idea. I don't hate it, I don't love it, I'd give it a neutral if I could, but here we are.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here is my review for JANITOR BLEEDS: I quite dislike this game. The premise has promise. You are a guy who crashes his car and finds an arcade in the middle of the woods. You enter and find a haunted arcade machine, as you play it you unleash a hell beast. You progress by playing the same arcade machine scattered around the various parts of the arcade. If you find a key in the machine, you can then pull it out and open a real life door, and vice versa. As you continue the monster gets more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You know how many steam players wish for a neutral button. Well I would use it in this case, but I'm glad there's none because we wouldn't really know what to think about a game. But I'll say this... I really like the 8 bit nostalgia games, of course who doesn't like a classic arcade, and the first 20 minutes were kind of fun. But the problem is... most of the assets and environment look the same so without any type of clues, except the game telling you "Find a way out", it's really tough to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but solid game. I liked the location and the fact that the arcade is designed unrealistically big to get the most out of the mapping. I like it when games / mods with one map does this, if done properly none of the locations feel pointless or a become a chore to get through. Long story short, besides the boss arenas there is only one map and that map is used well. I didn't find the monster or the game for that matter scary, there were some moments that come close but overall it feels…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →been excited for this project since the Haunted PS1 Demo. it unfortunately was a huge struggle to enjoy this game. the setting is intriguing, the secrets were fun to seek out, and the premise is so solid but the problems this game faces really ruined it for me. the enemy AI really was some of the worst i had faced in this genre. the monster just kinda patrolled exactly where you needed to be to finish your goal and once spotted you just kinda die unless you wanna take the time to loop around…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is ok. I was thinking of refunding it but decided against it because there are some good ideas here that the creator can expand upon in future games. I made it about halfway judging off of a youtube playthrough. Things I didn't like: Start is too generic and walking around a forest for five minutes doesn't add any buildup for someone who's played more than zero horror games. The notes. Even if they weren't as poorly written as they are, this game was better at telling its story…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short little horror game, awesome theme, great pixel graphics, good pacing. A bit tense at times and it gets really good towards the end.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good idea, good visuals, good setting, but the execution is lacking. Too much vent crawling, an enemy that looks amazing with its visual effects and the way it uses lighting, but that feels a bit too janky, as well as the fact that when that enemy encounter started, i began to have a problem that caused me to clip through the floor when crouching under something. I think this game suffered from pacing issues too, which could have either been solved with: faster gameplay and more action (having…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Check out JANITOR BLEEDS and see if you can clean up the mess that is being made in this old school graphics genre game! I just love the creepiness that the sound in this game brings to the table and the concept is fun to say the least. However if you follow me you know my biggest gripe with any game and JANITOR BLEEDS is no different! I find the price point to be a tad high, however I will say this it is Blockhead APPROVED!!!…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game turned out to be way more boring than I expected. You literally have to collect coins just to play arcade machines and progress through the plot — at least, that's what I thought it would be. You crash on your way home, and the first thing you do after stealing a flashlight is crawl into the sewers, and then... start working as a janitor at an abandoned arcade? It feels like the plot was written by AI... well, no, even AI wouldn't write such nonsense.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like and recommend this game, but the terrible optimization issues makes it so that I simply can't. My advice is to wait and see if the game gets an update to fix this before buying it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Indie Horror Game, with an original premise, good scares and satisfactory ending! Check Out Some Gameplay: https://youtu.be/zSKSJXM4uCg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/oZF4OKckYDs This game is great. I was iffy on it at first since the price was a bit high but so far it seems worth it. It has some great scares and I love the style and Janitor arcade mechanic. If you want to see some game play you can check out my play through above but I highly recommend trying it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was hard to be scared bc i was havin a fun time lookin around at things! very cool :3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty uninspired monster. Kind of tedious gameplay loop. It prolongs playtime by having you solve more or less the same simple puzzles over and over without meaningfully adding on to the experience as a whole outside of moving you from area to area inside the building Couldn't figure out how to avoid the arcade enemy, so I kept having to reinsert coins, so when it came time that you had to juggle between that and avoiding the actual monster it just became incredibly frustrating and i put…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great short horror game! I got a few jump scares that made me scream a little. There were some glitches I accidentally discovered that caused me to fall through the bottom of the map, but it wasn’t too bad as long as you didn’t try to exploit them. The story could use a bit more work like, did I release this thing after someone died trapping it? Or was it always there? That part wasn’t very clear. I also loved the ’90s arcade vibe; it brings a lot of nostalgia. Overall, 4/5 stars.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whilst there's no definitive answer to the mystery, the ride was interesting all the way through. In fact, this was the first game longer than an hour or two that I beat in a single sitting in quite some time. There was some minor frustration with getting around "the entity" in one sequence that required some multitasking, with the only other issue residing in a lack of ambition. I felt the correlation between the arcade cabinets and the real world map was really freaking cool, but it didn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a bit over these hide and seek horror games, but I liked this one enough to finish it which at 38 years old, is the highest praise I can give a game these days.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an awesome horror game. The setting of an arcade is unique and I'm glad that the game stays true to the setting. I love how you get to explore every inch of the arcade. The mechanic with interacting with arcade cabinets was very enjoyable. Horror was great, there were not many jumpscares and the atmosphere was spooky. The Entity made for a great villain, it was a fair challenge to hide from sometimes. I'm not sure why the Entity doesn't just kill you in one hit since it seems…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good pixel-art horror game with a clever use of arcade gameplay. Just the monster can be a bit annoying, noticing you even if you feel it shouldn't have but most annoying is that it can pull you out of a vent when you are hiding inside, insta killing you. First playthrough is about 2 hours long.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad, and I did enjoy the demo on the HPS1 demo disc... But it definitely feels like a Youtuber horror game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun little game, has some good spooks, great atmosphere, interesting story. Love the arcade game parts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 excellent atmosphere and made me jump more than once just a good game all around
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty interesting concept and visuals, feels like an old game at some point, which I really liked. I really enjoyed atmosphere in this game. Story is kinda simple, nothing too overhelming. I can't consider this game as a really spooky one, it's can be intesnse and spooky at some parts, but mostly felt like an old thriller or something like this, if it makes sense. But I can recommend to try this one if you want to spend your evening in something with a really nice atmosphere!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janitor Bleeds is a horror game with retro style that in some point gives me goosebumps. What makes it more insteresting is that this game has a mystery, which we can solve by reading some scattered notes. Overall this is a good horror game, although I found some bugs along the game, such as UI glitch (The pause menu, repeating notes, and items in inventory) and I can't trigger another ending. But it's only a simple bug that can be solved by restarting the game. Hope it will be fixed soon
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cool/inspired retro style horror game, if you dig games like Bloodwash/Murderhouse/House of Salazar ect you'll dig this too. Solid atmosphere pretty creepy and it's short like this review but worth it imo. Last boss was bugged but was patched by the time I got that far, nice dev. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For fans of retro and horror games. Graphics are quite stylish, as much as in an old school 3d graphics way they can be. Extra points for the soundtrack!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KORPUS knocks it out of the park yet again. Perfect game length, actually got me spooked a few times
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game! I liked the atmosphere and audio. I appreciated the signs throughout the arcade that helped me from getting lost. I also really enjoyed the change between game styles (janitor/exploring in 3D).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good graphics, eerie atmosphere, i love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full disclosure, I am affiliated with the publisher of the game, Bonus Stage! Janitor Bleeds Review Summary I have played and finished Janitor Bleeds! While I think the game might be a little short for some people and still lacks a bit of polish it is overall a very enjoyable experience that is well crafted. Solid recommendation from my side! Story The protagonist crashes their car against a rock and finds an abandoned and haunted arcade and must survive the trials within. The story of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played it twice so for the price I'd say it's worth it for 4 hours of entertainment at the very least. The retro style was new for me, but it was fun and had a few good scares in it. If you like playing games a couple times to see what else you can do or what you've missed, it's worth it imo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite a decent small indie/horror game it takes around a hour and a half to beat it Rating: 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's.... an alright game. It's not the most polished game nor the best story ever told, it's just... average. What makes me say that? The fact that I can, go f*ck yourself. What makes me say that, regarding the game? I have no clue if I've been blessed before but I haven't clipped through the floor in a game for quite a while. Until now. Sh*t just f*cking gave up and sent me to h*ll. I was just crouching man, what the f*ck? But that's not the only issue The entity is not even that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janitor Bleeds begins with a simple setup—a late-night drive gone wrong, a stranded protagonist, and the discovery of an abandoned arcade tucked away in the woods—but it uses this familiar premise to carve out a distinct, tightly focused horror experience. The moment you step inside the derelict arcade, the mood is unmistakable: flickering neon lights struggle to illuminate dusty machines, long-dead electronics hum to life for no clear reason, and the unsettling quiet makes every footstep feel…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janitor bleeds is a great short horror indie game with a very retro feel. It has a clever gimmick of combining what happens in the arcade world with the real world much like the hit 2015 flick pixels featuring Adam Sandler. I enjoyed the use of the arcade game throughout as well as the main monster of the game. It does feel a bit similar to other modern horror games and could of done a little more with it's ideas and secrets to be found on the map. Overall, this is thankfully closer to a fun…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ this game and having an enemy i have to walk past that i literally cant see because it ♥♥♥♥♥ with my screen. trying to get the under 60mins achievement on my second playthrough and getting up to the part where I gotta sneak past him to open a grate, and no matter what he sees you; IT HAS MADE ME REALISE HOW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THE AI IS AND HOW BROKEN IT IS THAT HE CAN JUST DRAG YOU OUT ANYWHERE. PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU WANT BUT BE WARNED IT IS HORRIBLY MID.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 Not terrible but not excellent either. On sale it's fine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A totally rad indie horror gem dripping in retro 80s lofi goodness! Creep around a haunted arcade while being stalked by a glitch monster as you play a possessed arcade cabinet that magically changes the environment around you. Short and sinister with great sound design. You can feel the ambition in this one - would love to see the ideas expanded on in a sequel!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a wonderful surprise. Would love more of this type from the team.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My computer's a 1050 ti with an i8700 processor but this game unfortunately chugs quite a bit quite often. nevertheless, i was able to finish it and i think its a really solid little horror game. It's about 3-4 hours long I'd wager and is paced very well. You crash on the side of the road and wander the forest till you get to an abandoned arcade. But abandoned doesn't mean empty. There's some presence lurking the halls and seems to be tied to the Janitor arcade cabinet that requires you to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is an absolute masterpiece. i played the PS1 HAUNTED DEMO DISC version not that long ago and was hyped as hell for it. buying the game it did not dissapoint. fantastic graphics (even tho they are ps1 styled) Beautiful atmosphere. And just a fantastic premise. this has become my favorite horror game of all time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →80's arcade. Perfect setting for a horror game. Very atmospheric, perfect length, was interesting the entire playthrough and had some very spooky ideas. Never a question of where to go or what to do. These indie horror games are always hit or miss, more often miss than anything, but this game HITS hard. JANITOR BLEEDS 2 WHEN?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Length <1hr 40min Janitor Bleeds is a Horror Action game, where you find a closed arcade and seek shelter just to find an arcade machine that may be cursed. Through the game you will be exploring the closed arcade unlocking new areas, though once you play on the Janitor arcade machine the real world will become filled with patches of errors which you cannot walk through, and unleash a monster which will hunt you down through the arcade. The only way to advance is to find the Janitor cabinets…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game! Very spooky, great story and good nostalgiac feel. Most games its hard for me to not be able to predict what was going on and BOY did i not have a clue what was next. DEF if you have seizure issues there's flashing lights that happens during three dif segments! very disturbing story but a good one! Gameplay was nice, only part i found rough i was just too greedy/not patient enough with. The chase scenes felt placed alright compared to most games. Jump scares were more than just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Came because I liked the PS1 Haunted demo disc demo, stayed for the excellent tension. Some very nice sound design here keeping you on edge. Clever mechanics that don't outstay their welcome. Would recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janitor Bleeds is a really neat concept. The plot centers around the main character getting into a car accident, and in need of some emergency assistance. You enter an abandoned arcade. You soon find out that you're not alone in this arcade. If you read the notes that is scattered throughout the building the story will unfold even more for you. What's really a big highlight for me in Janitor Bleeds is that there are these mysterious arcade cabinets that appear then disappear. Once you collect…
