Into the Storm
As a new day begins in the town of Silverton, its residents have little reason to believe it will be anything other than ordinary. Mother Nature, however has other plans. In the span of just a few hours, an unprecedented onslaught of powerful tornadoes ravages Silverton. Storm trackers predict that the worst is still to come, as terrified residents seek shelter, and professional storm-chasers run toward the danger,… From TMDB

It's no Twister, sure, but if you've not seen it before and need something entertainingly stormy with something approaching a plot and at least three actors you kinda recognise from other films, it's worth a watch.

unlabelledView post →This is another one of those films that reminds mankind that if nature were really to take against us all, it could eridcate us without too much difficulty. This natural disaster movie is a variation on the "Twister" theme as the sleepy Oklahoma town of "Silverton" prepares for graduation day without the faintest clue that the valedictory speechifying is about to be cut short. Meantime, some storm chasers are honing in on the radar clues that suggest that this could well be a super-storm.…

WTF!!!!
unlabelledView post →Well, I'm watching Twisters and the bit with the rodeo and the hotel is quite exciting. Dunno why watching Twisters made me think of that bit tho'. big disaster movie theme going on here. "Into The Storm" is better, mind you, because that a sequence involving an airport / tornado and 747's.

Original Twister movie was very special to me from the cast to story to the music (Van Halen) and the movie Into The Storm at least took a different approach but the Twisters seems like an insincere rehash aiming cashgrab.

unlabelledView post →Another version of the movie 'Twister'. Not because both the movies are about tornadoes, but takes place in a similar fashion where a group of twister/storm analyzers/chasers goes after their thing only to come out in a messed-up state. Forget the 'Twister', lets talk about this film. It had better effects, but that did not give the visuals like the natural occurrence, mostly they over-used it. I can call it a display for commercial purpose than reality, that's what Hollywood is famous for,…
