unlabelledView post →Picking a random film from my collection to show off for no real reason! Year 2, Day #169 "Infinity Pool" (Brandon Cronenberg/2023) Sadly, this is one from the collection I have not watched yet. One thing is for sure though, Brandon has his father's blood running through his veins!

Karen Gillan is told she's dying, so she gets a clone and trains her as her replacement. When it turns out she was diagnosed she's required by law to dual her clone to the death.

unlabelledView post →As you are all “intrigued” here is the scene I mentioned from the film Infinity Pool on Netflix, how it’s on Netflix is beyond me. NSFW.

unlabelledView post →Top Tip: Do not have the film "Infinity Pool" (Netflix) on when you have a man fixing your dishwasher. 15 mins in Alexander Skarsgård gets wanked off on a beach, a side on view of his girthy penis taking up most of the screen, spewing jizz. I had to show him it was Netflix and not porn.
unlabelledView post →I was on the fence about watching Infinity Pool but this review convinced me. #HorrorSky
unlabelledView post →Distribution seems to be more about deals rather than content. Infinity Pool, for example, is very graphic and mixes sex and violence, but it's on Netflix right now, with a well known cast and director. A similar film might not be as accessible, but it's not censored for content if that makes sense.
unlabelledView post →#NowWatching INFINITY POOL (2023). Director: Brandon Cronenberg. Alexander Skarsgard, Mia Goth. I'm sure the difference will be negligible, but checking out Unrated version (I've seen R-rated). Get out the fried chicken! #filmsky 📽
unlabelledView post →happy thursday. today I'm thinking about brandon cronenberg's INFINITY POOL, a movie I think about a normal amount,
unlabelledView post →Really enjoyed Infinity Pool, it was the kind of messed up film I needed tonight. Mia Goth’s agent of chaos definitely the highlight. Brandon is 2/2 in the 2020s #horror #filmsky

unlabelledView post →First morning of annual leave until the new year. Spent it cleaning flat and watching blu-ray of Possessor (2020), in my opinion Brandon Cronenberg’s finest film (yes, above Infinity Pool). Heretical thought: his vision may be stronger than his father’s (have not seen The Shrouds, so may be wrong)

unlabelledView post →Orgies! Freud’s death drive! Titanic (film & ship)! The Titan submersible! The humiliation kink of Mia Goth reading bad reviews! Orgies, again! I wrote about the obsessive lust for death among the rich in INFINITY POOL (which turns 2 today) for @bwdr.bsky.social:

unlabelledView post →I’m still catching up with 2023 films so this is a little late, but why the hell was everyone talking about SALTBURN as the horny/perverted/the rich are assholes film , when INFINITY POOL was right there and doing it much, much better.
unlabelledView post →i finally watched my first movie from 2023 "Infinity Pool" I give it a B+
unlabelledView post →Next up, I'm completing a Cronenberg Trifecta over the last week or so. First I watched Brandon's INFINITY POOL (good wtf movie), last night I watched Caitlin's HUMANE (omg Veronica Mars's dad is evil), now it's onto David's CRIMES OF THE FUTURE.

unlabelledView post →MIA GOTH as GABI BAUER in Infinity Pool (2023) dir. by Brandon Cronenberg This felt like a Cronenberg senior film.
unlabelledView post →If you're feeling irritated by the fecklessness of awful wealthy people, I commend Brandon Cronenberg's INFINITY POOL to you. This is a very smart horror film that has a deep understanding of how vast wealth turns people into human monsters.
unlabelledView post →Watched Infinity Pool. Vile, horrific film that put me in mind of Wake In Fright. Disgusting. Perverse. Unbearably stressful. 10/10 would recommend 💜

unlabelledView post →Watched Brandon Cronenberg's Infinity Pool last night. It's hard to imagine a film that has had a more Ballardian feel than this in recent memory. I loved it, honestly.
unlabelledView post →22 / #100HorrorMoviesin92Days 'Infinity Pool' (2023) Dir. Brandon Cronenberg It's exactly what you'd expect from a Cronenberg family member. Great visuals, stellar performance by Skarsgård & Goth and of course a morbid but interesting story. Not great, but I liked it. #Filmsky #Horror #HorrorSky
unlabelledView post →Infinity Pool: you guys. This movie actually really freaked me out. I’ve never seen anything like it. Extremely upsetting—horrible, super weird, startlingly mean-spirited. Fantastic acting, unusual & unexpected story, great looking production—but seriously ewwww. Content warning: all of them. Vile.
unlabelledView post →Have you seen Infinity Pool? Also a good movie, also upsetting

unlabelledView post →Started assembling my movie playlist for October. So far I have: The Magician (1926), Huesera: The Bone Woman, El Conde, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Infinity Pool, Secret Ceremony, Il Demonio, & The Thirteenth Chair (1929). Need to get to 31 films I haven't seen before, which is a challenge.
unlabelledView post →I just saw Infinity Pool and it's a real weird movie.
unlabelledView post →Infinity Pool and Evil Dead Rise are both great, but I think Talk To Me is currently the best horror movie of 2023. What are your favourite horrors of the year so far?🎥
unlabelledView post →It's me. I'm not naming just one. The Invitation is incredible. Infinity Pool deserved better. Oh, Messiah of Evil is amazing. I prefer the Suspiria remake to the original. *braces* Matango, The Perfection, Cuckoo, Lords of Salem, Deeper You Dig, The Crazies remake, Jaws 2, Bit, I could go on.
unlabelledView post →Infinity Pool is about as Ballardian as you can get. What a phenomenal film about hedonism and cultural exploitation. I loved it, and between this and Possessor, I think Brandon Cronenberg is one of the most exciting directors out there.
unlabelledView post →If someone goes on holiday and it turns out to be a bad time, like a really really bad time and a bad idea, I'm there with my popcorn bucket. I didnt know Infinity Pool was one of these AND that was my first Mia Goth movie so I was EATING watching that movie.
