positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ummm. this game i rated with 😐 emoji. Lets just say, flat/neutral aka not so shabby. but i gave thumbs up since this game isnt really be categorized as "worse" as it could be. The personal lack/disinterest i can notice will be : - No CPU Candidates (where are my nepgear, uni, rom ram :sob:) - fps lock but way more worse (30 lol wat) - chibi styled game, i wouldnt say its bad, but i just liked and loved the way neptunia previous series model as it used to be. - magic chess style. im not big…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good turn based game with chibis. But sadly I lost my progress halfway because there's no cloud save since my PC broke. I will still download it back and finish it someday. 10/10 feels like Final Fantasy Tactics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyperdevotion Noire is kindof. Odd. Gameplay's pretty easy once you get used to the controls but then becomes tedious. Item drops in particular can be annoying. Enemies have different drops for a normal kill and an overkill, and after a certain point most kills will be overkills, so you may not be able to get that weapon material you wanted. Everyone in your party does get experience for each fight though regardless of whether or not they did anything, which relieves tedium a little bit,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyperdevotion Noire, a phase-based rpg which mechanics is being worked by sting, which also their speciality. A simple yet could become complex if you're willing to deal thousands of thousands damage in a single hit. If you're a fan of this kind of rpg, then go give it a try since this game is really cheap now compared to its first release With approx~10 hours of normal playthrough, 4 more hours of grind if you want to see the true end. And also 40 more hours additional if you want to get all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like for the anime, minus for the turn-based combat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyment: 1/10 Really bad gameplay. Only 45% of players cleared Chapter 1 (an hour into the game). Only 25% cleared Chapter 2. (maybe 2 hours further in?) That's how bad it is. Entirely devoid of fun or tactics. Full of boredom, stupidity and everything feels bad. Watching paint dry is more entertaining. Disappointing even when it comes to fanservice. Characters are chibi, so the only fanservice is from CG, not ingame models. Even though I liked Noire's character design, watching her chibi…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games like this are why I wish Steam included another option beyond "recommended" and "not recommended." Hyperdevotion Noire is a mixed bag. I would recommend it for Neptunia fans or anyone who likes the formulaic anime-style humor and characters. Yet, I have equally compelling reasons to NOT recommend it, considering its mediocre-at-best gameplay. Gameplay is the most important part of any game, so it's unfortunate that Hyperdevotion Noire makes quite a few missteps in that department. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh lord, I always wondered why this game always goes on sale for the cheapest out of all the games in the series. I think this is the worst game in the franchise. Buggy as hell, 28(?!) FPS lock, and some of the WORST dialogue in the entire series. No.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as I appreciate and have enjoyed the Neptunia games + spinoffs so far, I find this one to be very subpar. This game is essentially a very crude tactical RPG set in the Neptunia world (non-canon). Although you are still playing with the characters you are familiar with, the gameplay is pretty lacking. It is a relatively bare bones tactical RPG combat style, with a poorly designed menu system and key bindings. Combat itself was fine, but it felt like the levels had poor scaling (unlike…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played A LOT of Neptunia games before this one, including other spinoffs: Hyperdimention Re;Birth1, 2 and 3 Megadimension Neptunia VII Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online Action Unleashed Blanc vs Zombies... among (ඞ) others Having played all these Nep games to 100% achievement completion, I could still go for more. Then I purchased this one game. I just stopped buying Nep games after it for lost of interest. Don't get me wrong. I like Noire and she's probably my favorite of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The currency you use to buy furniture for Noire's room: SIM Points This game was years ahead of its time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOIRE HAS FRIENDS!!!!! NOT "LONELY" ANYMORE. The combat/battle system could be better tbh, a bit too inconvenient cuz you have to keep pressing buttons to progress.... 7/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice turn based strategy game, similar to Fire Emblem with the lovely characters from neptune that we already know.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart (Neptunia) is an older game from 2014. It's a venerable 11 years old at the time of this review. It's a handheld (Playstation Vita) game that's also been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld/console gaming audience from last decade... and it shows. It looks like quite the budget went into making this PS Vita turn based tactical JRPG with chibi (small body, big head) characters from the Neptunia…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Story (8/10) if you have played neptunia rebirth 1, then this game has one story in common. This game is the same as telling where the goddesses fight over the throne of a world called Gamarket (gaming industry in Neptunia Rebirth 1) only here the main character is Noire. The interesting fact is that from the very beginning of the Neptunia game series, the main character is actually Noire, not Neptune. but in the end neptune's character design was more attractive to be used as the main…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just like all the other games of this series it has funny dialogue and cute characters with some slightly perverted scenes which they have completely built a following around without actually creating anything else worth calling a good game. areas reused many many times, palette swaps on everything no semblance of a real story but unfortunately they have a large following of fans that will buy just based on perverted scenes which just perpetuates this kind of bland sub-par crap thats…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →everyone told me that this was the worst nep game, now it's my favorite spinoff. recommended if you like games like fire emblem. only downside is i don't love the chibi artstyle. secretary is easily ignorable. plus it's one of three games that has UD blanc, how could i dislike it?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a Nep Nep game, with all the weird antics and off-the-wall cutscenes that make them so strangely endearing, but this time it's an SRPG. For those of you who, like me, have poured countless hours into everything from Final Fantasy Tactics to Tactics Ogre to Fire Emblem to Langrisser to Agarest to... Well, you get the point. If you enjoy the weirdness that is Neptunia, but yearn for a more tactical experience, this is the game to get for a merger of the two. The only down side is that,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute banger. This was my first game in the Neptunia series and all I can say is that, it is worth it. I got it on sale and at that price it is gold. Performance : Well, it runs at a locked 30fps but we all know where to go to unlock it. The graphics are not bad but not that amazing as well. They are just good like 7/10. Anyways despite the fact that the game might have a low fps, it runs at a very stable state. You don't need a powerful PC to run this game well. Even an Intel HD 620 can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a little bit different from other games in the franchise -- it requires more thinking and strategy. This game however has a lot of shortcomings: * Similar to other titles in the series, grinding is a disaster. * It's very annoying that some effects cannot be skipped (e.g. truck/platform moving), and you cannot fast-forward enemy's turn. * There are too many adverse states n this game, and you can only see the icon in the status. I have to refer to Histy's tutorial for many of them.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just seeing cute chibi nep series characters in this game is enough for me. The gameplay and story is acceptable. (Not very good, only acceptable.)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is typical Neptunia goodness with the twist that it's an SRPG. It's fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Noire, I will forever love you <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: The game is decent enough to get a kick out of if you're into Neptunia. But, is overall lacking. Gameplay: The game had some interesting ideas that resulted from adapting the elements from the mainline games into a Strategy RPG format, but after a while, it felt less about "Strategy" and more about spamming the highest damaging move. Your equipment and placement doesn't really matter much when you're just spamming your best AoE move and the enemy is doing the same thing. The endgame…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has an issue that breaks it regarding texture generation. There's discussions on this topic going back to the game's release, but none marking any solution. Wildly different hardware variations, as well. I wouldn't recommend buying a game that's a roll of the dice on whether, or not you can actually beat it without encountering infinitely repeatable game-breaking bugs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In all honesty, this installment of the Neptunia series didn't live up to my expectations set by its predecessors. My gameplay experience was marred by recurrent crashes, particularly during crucial moments like cutscenes before or after battles. This forced me to replay certain segments multiple times, which significantly disrupted the flow of the game. The frustration peaked when I found myself redoing battles due to unexpected crashes. To circumvent these issues, I resorted to saving my…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is no way that you wouldn't buy this game if you don't love the only Tsundere CPU "Noire" xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neptunia that wanted to try the Fire Emblem approach with Disgaea-lite mechanics and failed to make it fun. Starting with the good, the story is not terrible. But it is repetitive to get to the root cause of all Neptunia antagonist intentions. Characters have their own appeal and stand out from each other. Chibi artstyle is different/cute. Great CG and side character content to embrace. If someone wants a simple strategy RPG game, this game can be for them. But they would be missing out on…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended for fans of tactics RPGs such as Disgaea and of course fans of the Neptunia series. +Great variety of characters with different weapons/skills +Fun battles, tactics style works well for the characters +Grinding for levels/gear is mostly optional +Graphics/art for VN and CG scenes are well done -Repetitive, even more if you do extras/sidequests/achievements -Weapons/armor feels very limited compared to accessories -Elemental system feels unnecessary/useless -Story is just filler…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Positive : 1. Despite having many playable character, most of it is unique. 2. The combat is snappy and not clutter (cleaner UI and button placement makes sense). 3. Fanservice is not my cup of tea but it is definetly something. 4. The grinding is not that bad, although i do want in-game guide about the items drop more detailed. Negative : 1. The story is meh (some part feels forced or the writing did not know what to do). 2. Despite fanservice is positive aspect in this game, it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad...Just bad....From the typical "we invented a skip button for stories like these" banter to the massively dragged out battles with way too many repeating animations, super annoying map layouts which only work against your units and don't affect the cpu opponents (i.e. conveyor belts dragging you off and cancel your move once you even just step on it, but the cpu enemies can just stand on it as if it's normal floor...okay...), paired with a really terrible pathfinding system, where you have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will be your friend I have encountered a consistent game crash on the zombie quest, I also found a solution which is running the game in compatibility mode
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you're not already into this series skip this and any others. these games are low effort bargain bin games carried by cute anime females with voice acting. with a story i can best describe if you can think of the worst anime dialog then degrade it 10 levels lower. the tactical fights take place on levels with hardly any objects and you can't even turn the camera.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Always said Noire is the best of the CPUs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We all know why you are here fellow Noire fan. Go ahead and dive into fire emblem-esque gameplay and a story in which Noire talks directly to you the player. What an awesome fanservice game though.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I forgot how much of a joke this game was and I love it. It's a fun game and can make you laugh. A good Neptunia. 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Cute characters (Chibi style) + New characters referencing other games (even less known games like Opoona) ~ Story is fine ~ Reused a lot of music from other games of the franchise ~ Lots of side-quests/mission, but I dropped doing them midway, because of the slow gameplay - Slow gameplay: In comparison with other SRPGs this one is a bit too slow for my taste.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally gave this game thumbs down due to slow battles, which became annoying in case you lost. Few tips. If the battle is too hard you can either A. Grind. B. Retreat and spam easier please as many times as you need. It reduces stats of the monsters. It's also important to use quick save option when everything is going well. So in case you lose you don't have to start from the very beginning. You can also deploy leftover characters, they will replace the ones that died. The combat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just want to hold hands with Noire.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i hate this game. good if you want to make out with noire, though. i'm more of a nep girl.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a bit different from the typical Neptunia Turn based RPG style. It features an actual battlefield in which you got to position yourself and everything. However, due to that, it takes a lot longer to get through the fights, as you'll be waiting for enemy turns all the time. You can skip past their move and attack animations, but you still gotta see each and every single monster do their turn before you're getting your next turn. It can take a lot of time, especially if there are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is incredible buggy to the point of frustration. No controller support. Mouse functionality is jank. Which is odd as this is a PSVita port that I presume utilized touch screen. Multiple times I've had to close the game out because the enemy refused to do an action or end the turn. Happens about ever 3-4 hrs of gameplay The hit boxes on enemies and characters are terrible for clicking on. It's a constant challenge to rotate, zoom and navigate the cursor with WASD to move or attack…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know it's already too late for this, but I really wish they had cloud saves. My save file got corrupted so I had to start from scratch. It's a really cool game featuring my favorite Hyperdimension Neptunia character, but the lack of cloud saves makes it hard for me to restart the story. It's something to keep in mind in case the same thing happens to you. Anyways despite its flaws, I had a really fun time playing this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A surprisingly fun and complex tactics RPG with a serviceable story. Really love the variety and mechanics in the map designs, though some stages do drag on for too long and some characters are not well balanced, with some being clearly inferior while other are broken to the high heavens.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It actually hurts to play. You can feel the dimly lit office meetings where they spedrun making as many new characters that they could think to make based on "playstation titles"...but it was just so hard to care about these characters on top of the already ever-growing cast of Neptunia. I'll keep chugging through these games, but this one is easily the weakest and if you are not a chronologist, it should be skipped. Feels as heartless as the manifestation of an industry could feel.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugs Everytime you "Alt+Tab" the game stop responding and you have to restart it, everytime Story This games takes place in another dimension (not named) where you have the for CPUs but the other characters are different. The names are slight different like the Gamindustry turning into Gamarket, also, different from Gamindustry where people represent Game Companies, the people of Gamarket represent the Games itself. Conclusion - The game looks good but this alt+tab problem is making me…
