Hotel Artemis
Los Angeles, June 21st, 2028. It’s a John Wick ripoff, the hotel’s a hospital for criminals, whatever. Anyhow, I dig Jodie’s “irascible old lady” era.
unlabelledView post →HOTEL ARTEMIS (2018) Funnier then I remember while still feeling like a vertigo comics one shot (complimentary). stacked-ass cast, Charlie Day should play more heels. Retroactively a Covid movie.
unlabelledView post →There's a movie, Hotel Artemis, with Jodie Foster that is just spot on.
unlabelledView post →I can't believe I almost forgot my own 'most important international holiday of the year' day! Happy Hotel Artemis day to all those who celebrate 🎉🎉 This is an important one as it's the first since we saw her, some filming locations, and the mastermind behind the whole thing 💗🐺🗝🔥💀💉🔫💗

unlabelledView post →Realistically probably Atomic Blonde and Hotel Artemis 😂 I can't resist either movie
unlabelledView post →Suddenly reminded of the Jodie Foster film, Hotel Artemis, and how one of the background elements was how Los Angeles was in the middle of a city-wide riot due to corporations privatizing the local water supply...

unlabelledView post →Hotel Artemis is a crappy unremarkable movie, but i will always remember it because Josh Tillman was in it for 5 minutes where his character gets shoved into a pile of garbage, but apparently his band’s management company flipped out before production & forced them to use a VERY obvious stunt double
unlabelledView post →For Vanden! Either Alison Janney as she was in the movie Lou, or Jodie Foster as she was in Hotel Artemis. Vanden is in her 60's, kicking ass and taking names; whoever (hypothetically) plays her should show every beautiful grey hair and wrinkle as they punch the enemy square in the face.
unlabelledView post →Seeing Hotel Artemis at the drive in was such a funny night. Abominable movie
unlabelledView post →The ones I really enjoy are completely immersive. Space themed ones are great. Interstellar, Gravity & The Martian whisk me away. Dystopian/SciFi ones also drag me in. Hotel Artemis, Dredd, & any 80's/90's cult classics. I adore The Orville as each episode is like a mini film & it cheers me up. 😊
unlabelledView post →Have any of you seen Hotel Artemis? Damn what a cool movie... with Jodie Foster and Jeff Goldblum (and others). Dave nailed it in that one
unlabelledView post →finally sat down and watched Hotel Artemis tonight and a) Impeccable writing, acting, filming, etc. Loved it. b) Good LORD, the setting and much of the related events feel alarmingly realistic/well within the realm of possibility
unlabelledView post →Thinking about the Jodie Foster film Hotel Artemis, the war in that was water rights.
unlabelledView post →Hotel Artemis is such a great throwback. Feels like a movie you'd see on HBO at 1155pm and think "this is way better than it has any right to be"
unlabelledView post →📽 JW: Hotel Artemis Kind of an enjoyable pulpy bottle episode of a movie and I love to see Jodie Foster in anything recent.
unlabelledView post →Lastly, she's not a doctor, but can we get some love for Jodie Foster as The Nurse in the action film Hotel Artemis? She's treating patients who are truly awful criminals, even as the city collapses under riots, and the mob's trying to shoot her hospital up, and she's dealing with her own demons.
unlabelledView post →Hotel Artemis is dogshit but I love it, the visuals (and concept) are very fucking delicious to me His House is THE movie if you want intense I watched it a few years back and it was HAUNTING. Old BUT one of my favorites, I think about it CONSTANTLY is the Masque of Red Death feat. Vincent Price
unlabelledView post →You know how people keep saying "This 8-episode series could have been a movie"? Well that's Hotel Artemis! An efficient 90 minutes full of real characters, weaving plots, and action. See also: Atomic Blonde.
unlabelledView post →Watching Hotel Artemis again and... yeah, I really like this movie. A bunch of real good actors playing bad people, good people, and complicated people in a day-after-tomorrow 2028 LA riot sparked by unaffordable water and police brutality.
unlabelledView post →A good palate cleanser movie would be Hotel Artemis.
unlabelledView post →We just finished re-watching Hotel Artemis, an *extremely* well-acted gripping movie about a bad night at an underground medical clinic in LA in the middle of a riot/protest. I think it's Jodie Foster's best role ever.
unlabelledView post →How have I never heard of the movie, Hotel Artemis? Jodie Foster Dave Bautista Charlie Day Zachary Quinto Jeff fucking Goldblum In a post apocalyptic dark comedy??? The internet has failed me. www.imdb.com/title/tt5834...
unlabelledView post →You'd think Hotel Artemis would be a fun movie. Got that John Wick vibe with a secret hospital for criminals. A stacked cast. Pretty cool production design. Unfortunately, it. is. so. fucking. boring. Everyone talks too much. Nothing happens for more than an hour. The fights are boring. This sucked.

unlabelledView post →Hotel Artemis. Highly underrated film IMO.
unlabelledView post →Criminally slept on movie. I always end up pairing it in my head with Hotel Artemis for some reason
unlabelledView post →Watching Hotel Artemis, and why did I wait so long? This movie is so good!!! Sterling K. Brown is amazing, as is Brian Tyree Henry and Sofia Boutella.
unlabelledView post →I'm too busy watching Hotel Artemis which isn't much of a horror film but great dystopian fiction.
unlabelledView post →She is incredible, and I love that she was able to get to a level where she only takes the work she wants to do. HOTEL ARTEMIS, for example, was a great and surprising role for her...she elevated a gritty little genre movie (and Bautista also gives a very surprising and humane performance in it).
unlabelledView post →Hotel Artemis is a GREAT flick. Unironically love that movie.
unlabelledView post →I understand! The movie I was referencing though is fictional lol. “Hotel Artemis” - I hope that movie doesn’t become real. A tad bit too violent and sad 🥲😅

unlabelledView post →Those 10 minutes or so in Blade Runner was a master class in acting, right up there with Rutger Hauer's speech in the first Blade Runner. I also really enjoyed Hotel Artemis. That movie gets so overlooked.
unlabelledView post →Watched 3 John Wick movies, can't remember a single damn thing about any of them. Watched Hotel Artemis, recall every single scene, and every single line of that film, from start to finish. Films really are better than Movies. Every time!
unlabelledView post →Just wanted to tell you that your movie Contact is one of my favorites. Still watch it now & then. And your portrayal of your character in Hotel Artemis was masterful. Loved your character's "walk". Gave depth to her personality.
