I can confirm that the singleplayer of this game no longer has any of such issues in february of 2022. The game feels like it could be fun but the gameplay is floaty and weird, levels are too busy visually. But with 144 hertz the last boss fight was near impossible. Having half the time to attack him after dodging is insane hard. (Even with 60 fps last boss fight was not nice in my Opinion, because the screen is not centered on the own char but between boss and char, it's hardly confusing.

Also co-op seems to desynchronize more the longer you play. Got stuck on the clock puzzle not turning for me but working perfectly fine for my co-op partner. You can compare it closest to Hotline Miami.
