George of the Jungle
Deep in the African jungle, a baby named George, the sole survivor of a plane crash, is raised by gorillas. George grows up to be a buff and lovable klutz who has a rainforest full of animal friends: Tookie, his big-beaked toucan messenger; Ape, a witty talking gorilla; and Shep, a peanut-loving pooch of an elephant. But when poachers mess with George's pals, the King of Swing swings into action. From TMDB

unlabelledView post →The only time a muscled up character was given "The Female Gaze" treatment (that I can remember tbf) in my lifetime was George of the Jungle and the whole thing was lampshaded in a very self aware way by the movie itself. youtu.be/3qRzoz-CqTY?...
unlabelledView post →The thing is that I don’t think you could do a Tarzan movie that worked anymore but you could definitely do a George of the Jungle that worked.
unlabelledView post →Remember in the 90s and 2000s when Disney put out a surprising amount of live-action adaptations of animated properties that weren’t from Disney’s own animation branch? Inspector Gadget and George of the Jungle even got DVD sequels, and Gadget has another LA film in the works.

unlabelledView post →going down a memory lane movie watch, and i completely forgot about the opening scene of George of the Jungle, this guy just openly and vigorously groping his junk. yea the various sources of my taste in men is becoming clearer.
unlabelledView post →It could be the thing I took, but George of the Jungle is *EXACTLY* as good as I remember it being. A masterpiece of film. How is this not in the library of congress? Backups should be shot into space to be viewed hundreds of years later when they re-enter for future generations after the US.

Years ago I was a caretaker for a Cockatoo named Henry who featured in the George Of The Jungle movie and I still have a scar.

unlabelledView post →My favorite scene from the film George of the Jungle starring Brendan Fraser. George gives Thor an atomic wedgie as they’re fighting. The villain’s shriek as he’s getting wedgied is music to my ears. 😈 #tightywhities #whitebriefs #wedgie

The film broke 20 minutes in. I thought I'd get fired. Boss brushed it off "We sold a lot more Skittles we wouldn't have"
