positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →STOP LOOKING A FOR NEGATIVE REVIEW AND GO FOR IT! Action, explosion, running, jumping, dodging, all in one place and at the same time. You can improve your skills, change your appearance, get powerful weapons (sometimes), equipment, and bonuses. You can also play co-op. The levels are randomly generated, which guarantees good replayability. I found it so much fun, 10/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd say this game is like if Dead Cells and Metal Slug had a baby where that child is raised properly but doesn't necessarily succeed its own parents and just exists as a good and fun product. While I've played plenty of games of this genre by now, I think this game is pretty unique with how you are playing a comic book character, named Fury, who explores different pages and panels of a comic book that gets filled out as you progress through it. It's a cool idea for level design and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How did this game not get more attention? It's an absolute blast to play, especially in co-op. Intense run and gun action, beautiful art, interesting weapons and enemies, and a fair roguelite progession system. It even has just the right amount of story, which is oddly compelling for this type of game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shooting madness in metroidvania style. Visuals resemble those of your favorite comic book. Gameplay is decent and offers plenty of mayhem. Mowing down enemies with different weapons is satisfactory. Melee weapons deal some extra damage from up close and new guns can be found during level. Game is a bit similar to Shank with more exploration and slightly more explosions. Overall it's ok.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great replayability value, my son loves to play it so it's nice to have the no blood option in the settings.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →English review: I recommend it, especially to play with a friend. Fury Unleashed is the kind of game that I probably would not see myself playing alone for a long time, but it becomes much more fun when played with a friend. It is simple, but also creative, original, and very enjoyable. I recommend buying it on sale, because it often gets very good discounts. Personally, I do not think it is worth the full price, but at a good promotional price, it becomes a much better deal. I did not have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a competent run-and-gun platformer that is also a roguelite. Not every boss is fair, and the game does seem to be balanced around many repeated runs (at least on its default difficulty of "Hard"), but I didn't need to get every upgrade to beat the game on that difficulty. The powerups give you a very large advantage and were definitely necessary for me before I could complete the game, but this is not an experience where grinding out powerups can replace skill. You do need to have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't write reviews often, But WOW is this game addicting! The game studio lived up to it's name for sure in this one. It's Awesome!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Consistently crashes shortly after starting program.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seriously underrated fast paced action run and gun rogue-like game. As soon as I learned and mastered how this game goes and what's it all about, I had a lot of long and intense runs with this game. I just couldn't help but feel a great rush of adrenaline. How fast I am dashing, how fast I'm shooting and swinging with my melee weapon, and how much chaos and destruction is happening as I play. Plus the many many MANY power ups and weapons you can experiment with in each different playthrough.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like 2D Action games i recommend this one 7/10 PROVE YOUR CREATOR WRONG:) Kill enemies quickly enough to unleash your fury and rip through everything in your way without getting injured. Learn to play flawlessly and beat the entire game in one,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fury Unleashed is the result of blending the fast-paced intensity of modern roguelite platformers like Dead Cells and Rogue Legacy with the nostalgic thrill of classic run-and-gun shooters such as Contra and Metal Slug. The developers dedicated five years to refining every aspect of the game to ensure it delivers an experience that resonates with fans of both old-school and contemporary action games. Their passion and commitment shine through, promising players an unforgettable adventure packed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't bring myself to play any further. The game can be fun if you enjoy this kind of thing, but it's not for me. I find the bosses to be extremely easy to dodge and kill, it's just not fun for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A hidden gem for those that want to play something really good, the game is super polished, amazing graphics, and really fun to play.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like I'm fighting some psychopaths in America
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The co-op in this game is so bad. I decided to use the online co-op so me and my friend can build our own character separately; but instead only the host can ONLY CUSTOMIZE their character and the guest HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE HOST and do nothing. Why is there even an option for online co-op if the guest player can't do anything.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really good game, I promise it's not because of the 7ft woman with the fat ass.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basic game. If you play a lot of rogue games then you will get bored of this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I started this game I felt a little sour with the leveling system. The leveling system seemed to make the game very hard at low levels and super easy once you level up but I didn’t take into account that this is actually a good thing. It turned out to be similar to games like Destiny, the early levels actually don’t matter and the game doesn’t really start until you reach full level. It does make the early experience feel pretty terrible but I recommend pushing through and you will get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing for only a short time so far, I'm already enjoying this game a lot. You explore the pages of a living comic book, collecting ink as you go which is dropped by the enemies you kill. The game includes, randomly generated levels, skills to unlock which will help you to survive for longer, combo system and even customise your appearance. If you enjoy boss fights, the game has a total of 40 :D Great soundtrack, varied enemies and it can also be played co-op. The controls are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I accidentally stumbled upon a genuine hidden gem. Highly recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1 hour in i know i made the right choice, what a little gem this game is. genuinely havent had much fun in games for a while, but i come from the retro gaming era so this style is right up my street. It reminded me why i got into gaming in the first place. Enjoyed every minute so far. Bought on sale at a steal of £1.67. Will support dev in future for sure they deserve more of my money!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very interesting. As with other roguelikes, the evolution persistence is limited to the character, not in the story, but it is realized in a way that being stuck in the same "chapter" is not too depressing or boring. The game blends classical elements present in classical roguelikes, such as mixing static enemies that plague the screen with small shots and moving enemies that do quite harm, with modern experiences, such as handling a lot of different range and melee…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fury Unleashed grips you from the start. The combo system is the heart of the game, and keeping your combo going as you tear through enemies feels amazing. Boss fights are tough but super satisfying when you figure them out. Each run is different with new loot, enemy setups, and boss patterns, keeping it fresh. It’s fast, intense, and keeps pulling you back in. Co-op makes it even better, adding to the chaos and fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm in the middle on this game, so It gets a positive. It quickly starts to feel like a grind which isn't for me. If you don't mind that then go for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very tedious on hard mode. Everything takes ages to kill, and you have to tiptoe around to avoid damage. Enemies are constantly spawned underneath you. It's not that hard it's more an issue in poor design. The rooms all feel the same. The weapons all feel the same. The enemies are too spongy on hard which kills the pace of the game. The bosses all feel the same. It's a grind to upgrade your character. I have no issue finishing games on hard but this one is just too tedious and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great fun run-and-gun platformer. Well designed, well built, and tonnes of fun. And, of course, runs great on Linux.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun. It's like playing contra with better graphics and more customization. However, Too many bugs with online co-op. - Not able to connect to online co-op more than 50% of time. - Sometimes it loses sync with other online co-op members and then we have to restart Please fix online co-op. I bought only for online co-op with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this on sale and I've already received my money's worth for time played. Not sure if it's been done before, but I enjoyed the creativity of the chapters being in individual comic books and the stage layout being the cells of the comic book pages itself. Looking forward to more from Awesome Games Studio.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Technically impeccable, a lot of fun and accessible to any skill level. Perfect for a quick run when there is limited time to play video games. These game devs are making video games tailored for me and I am looking forward to play more of YAZS and for the newly announced game HELLREAPER which has an art style more to my taste. Thank you!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game runs amazing on the deck. Was honestly my go to game for commercials in between sporting events. Really easy to get into, and put away. I treated this game mostly as an arcade type game, easy recommend 8/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't have a lot of experience with games like this but I loved the art style and the gameplay was addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →got it on sale for $2 totally worth it, but im not getting the achievements after completing them
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked Metal Slug, you will love this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a damn blast to play, especially after the juxtaposition of AAA games I've *tried* to play but have been plagued with mysterious crashes & BS that disrespect time. This is a straight forward game, that works. It's pathetic when my standards for games become "Is it a game that works?" This game plays well, it's snappy. Mike Matei would love it, because you can be playing it within 2 minutes of booting it up, & so do I. (Random Tip: Don't buy any Metro games)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a blast! You're rewarded for playing fast and keep your kill streak going, makes it a lot of fun. Honestly not as challenging as the reviews may have made it out to be.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best games which i ahev played. Spent a lot of time on this game, still love to play it on my steamdeck. For me its like a Contra game on steroids

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last boss is far too hard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super great, and great for co-op (played it more on ps4 than here). 9+/10. (The only flaw is slightly clumsy controller controls. Maybe no more content/expansion packs for it, too...)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't get tired of this game, I definitely recommend it to you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Part of the phenomenal Humble Bundle for Ukraine, this is an enjoyable arcade game with some solid rogue mechanics, a distinctive and attractive visual style and a host of different weapons, enemies and levels to keep your attention. I would personally have to give this a qualified recommendation however; even lowering the difficulty to 'easy', the final level is not balanced in my apparently less-than-skilled opinion. It spoils an otherwise fun game, which is a real shame as otherwise I would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: 9.5/10 An Insanely Underrated 2D Platformer/Run-N-Gun/Rougelite/Bullet Hell. I Don’t Understand How Such a Good Game Is This Obscure and Hidden Actual Review (No Spoilers) It's seriously so good. Fury Unleashed focuses on run-n-gun and bullet hell elements, while using a rougelite platformer as a base. It's probably why i'd say it's the best rougelite I've ever played. There are like, two or three things with this game that i'd say are issues/annoyances. That's it. The vast, VAST…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful graphic and fun - easy to learn game, highly recommend. downside? -> tons of grind for achievement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this on the PS4 and was instantly into it. I suppose its not for everyone but for those who use to play games likes this on the SNES Genesis and PS1 knows a good old school arcade game with a modern twist when we see one. For those who don't like the combo system....the old school games love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So fun for rogue lite and metal slug fans. Everything I wanted and for a steal of a price on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun at first. However, it quickly falls into a grinding loop to upgrade your character.
