unlabelledView post →This version is way better than the 2019 remaster. Just grab FFNX and the PS1 music mod for it, both are easy to install. FF8 is a good game. I play/replay it because it's comfy and the music is fantastic. You don't have to grind levels, just draw magic - which you can bypass with a card game. The story is cheesy: you have to remember that it's basically supposed to be a high school drama, and that the moments between Squall and Rinoa are supposed to be funny.
