negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's almost been 10 years in developement, and it's still a buggy, boring mess. Wait until ETS2 releases their Coaches DLC instead, that will be way better than this game. This game has: Bad driving physics Bad graphics Bad optimization and low fps despite the bad graphics Bugs, LOTS of bugs No economy/ETS2 like management (Which is fine depending on your preferences) Uninteresting cities and terrain Only 2 very similar buses to drive unless you purchase DLCs A tiny map unless you purchase…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth the money buses handle poorly the map is not good very boring and outdated also everything is dlc you get one coach and the rest you pay alot off money for and they are all basically the same
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if youre looking for realism this isnt it. 30€ for this game is way too much first off: the cities. They all look the same. soulless. same as the "people" you are transporting. The traffic ai is horrible. TML doesnt have a single developer with a driving license i presume. My opinion: Wait for ETS2: Coaches DLC comes out.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another classic sloppy and buggy Aerosoft game. I wanted to give a chance to this game couple days ago after not playing for a while, and crashed into a tree in the middle of the road, literally the tree was in the middle of the road. So don't waste your money to any Aerosoft game, if you feeling like wasting your money you can simply throw your money to trash bin instead of buying any Aerosoft game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately I have to say that I am disappointed. Altough the graphics are stunning and driving feels quite realistic, the game is full of bugs. I encountered trees in the middle of the road for example. The default traffic density setting results in a complete gridlock all the time, so you have to lower it a lot to get a playable traffic situation. The user interface is a mess and even for me as a seasoned driving simulation player, it was very difficult to know how to get around and start a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even after 10 years, the optimization is still terrible. While you're driving, cars in traffic constantly sway left and right for no reason. Sometimes a vehicle suddenly spawns in your lane, driving straight at you, causing an unavoidable crash. The key bindings are also buggy and don't always work properly. Developers, you've had 10 years to turn this game into something truly great—with proper optimization, fewer bugs, and polished gameplay. Instead, you keep releasing more DLC while the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very expensive and too many gamepasses. Why cant other busses be unlocked by in-game cash or something instead of wasting real money?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please stop releasing updates. After every update, all the controls and bus features disappear. It's impossible to drive east in the morning and west in the evening when the weather is clear. After the last update, most of the controls on my Neoplan bus were disabled. Also, when I press the brakematic button, the indicator light comes on but then switches off. Most features disappear with every update. Please don't mess with the normal features of the buses. First, fix the AI of other…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is unplayable, half of the buttons not working even setting it right in the controller settings... shame i wanted to drive....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried liking this game but with the bad graphics, bad performance, awful physics, bad map design, bad UI, and the brainless AI, I just could not enjoy this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →was hoping this would be like euro truck simulator but with buses. its honestly so trash that i cba to even write a review ffs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels a bit abandoned as the devs added DLSS and FSR to their newer product (The Bus) but not to this game, it has potential but the optimisation is bad and the scenery is very bland, you need DLC to enjoy the full experience. I personally enjoy the game from time to time but i cant recommend anyone buy it nowadays.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely terrible. Not gonna lie, the game is expensive. The only possible advantage of this game is it's graphics which is easily doable with snowymoon in ets2. Bugs are everywhere, most settings and gameplay are broken and completely unplayable. Wheel support is terrible. There is completely no force feedback and mechanical damping. Key binding is completely illogical and broken. I spent 4 hours trying to figure out the bindings and too bad, it doesn't work and now I can't refund. UI…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"It'll get better with time!" Many years on and it's still a clunky, buggy mess. FPS drops with a high-end PC is incredible. Controller suddenly stops working after adjusting my seat position, then the whole game locks me out of doing anything with the keyboard too. So much yet so little has changed with this game and I'm sorely disappointed that it didn't get that much better, just some over-priced DLC's (seriously ETS2 is cheaper per-DLC and is getting coaches/busses) and a few new…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR Fernbus Simulator is at its core ETS2 but with buses. It only comes with one bus, all of the other ones are paid DLC except for a single (glitchy) minibus. The map is decent with interesting roads but lackluster scenery in some areas. Many of the cities in the game feel very copy and paste except for a few select cities and areas. Fernbus also has mostly shallow gameplay with the main loop being "drive the bus" and little more than that without DLC. Pros - The default coach is well…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game could be so good...IF they ever sort out the mass of flickering textures, i somehow doubt they will ever be fixed if nothing been done about it in 8 years! For me it not usable..The flicker is so bad it makes me feel ill.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly this game sucks , I payed 30 quid for it and it sucks, it said hold foot break , I did nothing happened. If you want a good game to drive around Europe just get European truck sim 2 , dont waste your money. REFUNDED WITHIN 9 mins
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just wait for ETS coaches to come out
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game doesn't even deserve that amount of money, besides it ran the first time for 15 min after it crushes immediately. The operators should put the game on hold first and put it for download after solving the crashes problems. I surely do not recommend wasting money on the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the badly optimized game ever
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has to be among the worst driving "simulators" I've ever played. This still feels as though it's an Early Access demo. TL;DR The MOST important part of this game - the driving - is the worst part of it. RANT Other than the size of the map, everything else is appalling! It's hard to even know where to start with this review, because it's beyond me how this has ever even been considered past the "Early Access" stage. I hate criticizing something without explaining why I am.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is too much expensive
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →could be better. not that in depth. mostly just get in and drive. some buses have switches labeled backwards. drive is kind of boring and not that interactive. barely usable as something to do in the background while thinking of other things
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fernbus Simulator has excellent bus physics and European routes, but it needs a deeper career mode. I want to run my own coach company like FlixBus — setting schedules, managing drivers, handling finances, and expanding hubs across Europe. Please add a proper business/career system with contracts, ticket pricing, driver hiring, and company growth. That would take this game to the next level and make it feel like a true coach management simulator as well as a driving sim. Love the routes and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →full of bugs, ugly and unoptimized. 2 free buses the rest is dlc
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →need to buy a dlc to start career mode refunded
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →with a 4gb graphic gaming card and 16 gb ddr4 ram and i5 processor this game has leg issues
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It´s a mediocre game. It´s TML and Auerosoft, so just another one of their random slop projects. But it is fun. The base game with Germany offers unique destinations, varied locations and a very big road network. All map DLCs for the game lack one of these qualities. The base game is the only one relatively worth the price they are asking for. The bus DLCs are nice and allow you to choose whatever you want, but the price for those is not worth it. The amount of passengers always hovers around…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always wanted a bus simulator, but this game is not the right one. When I launched the game I expected nice graphics. However I got disappointed with graphics that look like there from 2012. Seriously why didn't you update the game graphics? On Top of that the driving physics are not the best. For example if you drive a bus with the maximum speed, and than you come across a curve you turn... and suddenly drift across the street. At last the prize for a game in this state shouldn't be 30…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I first launched Fernbus Simulator, I hoped to embark on a realistic and immersive journey across the cities of Germany. What I received instead was a nightmare on wheels, a tragic tale of wasted potential and shattered expectations. The performance? Abysmal. Even on powerful hardware, the game lurches and stutters like a dying engine gasping for breath. Every loading screen feels like an eternity, each frame drop a painful reminder that this experience is far from polished.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game disgusts me from the inside. Terrible experience, way too heavy (to run DECENTLY) and there are too many bugs. I would recommend it for anyone that owns a NASA spare computer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Graphics are bad comparing to ets2
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two things I disliked about the game is the progression system and the fact each truck costs money. What would make this game better is if you could start your company and create routes and get money and xp from them in which you could hire drivers, get new buses, and unlock new stops. A good example of this is bus simulator 21 next stop. I also believe that there should be more interactions with the passengers and more situations when driving.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a scam. Performance is terrible, features like triple screen look pretty much unfinished. This is more like an "early access" game than a full launched.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just dissapointed that most off the map is dlc and costs money
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, according to Steam I've played this for 63 hours in total, 35.8 hours in the last two weeks ! I have a pimped out GT Omega wheel stand that is bursting with peripherals and extra legs, castors and foot plates etc. A Moza R3 wheel and pedals is fitted with the truck clamp and quick release levers to adjust the angle of the wheel depending on which wheel is attached, truck wheel and GT rim plus the F1 style rim all ready to plonk on for whichever game I want to play. Purchased loads of DLC…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who is ready for September 3rd, 2026? because the month when Fernbus Releases The England DLC and The Mercedes-Benz Coach Coming in 8 variants and more liveries/repaints.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From a decent feeling and performing simulator; to an absoloutely horrendous pc-killing and plastic feeling piece of abandonware. The beta was more refined than whatever we have now. This game has hit rock bottom, now its digging. Don't waste your time and money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game made by one person in 2013 is better than this. I would rather suck off Kier Starmer .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Literally just came within 24km of completing a 3.5hr trip....and it crashed. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So uhh the game takes 10 minutes to load (going from lobby to route choosing, from route choosing to driving.). Almost all of the buses are dlc's. The game's performace is worse then cities skylines 2. The graphics are not good as well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Ai traffic needs to be fixed
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →all countries feel the same, highways are boring. Better go with ETS /ATS
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not gonna sugarcoat, but I'm gonna be fair. The graphics sometimes are a little rough and the frame rate is really unstable. But I play this game every now and then because I think it's a really chill experience and it's one of the few coach-deriving experiences on Steam that actually brings a well-enough made gameplay. So that said, even though the game has problems, I fully believe that if someone is looking for this kind of experience in a game, it's worth a shot, even if sometimes I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devs never fix anything. You get green grass during winter along with snow. Objects are constantly flickering. Engine sounds are a$$. AI sometimes block all the city streets and you have to either reload the game or to drive around them on the sidewalk. OMSI 2 is much better at this point
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cash grab game. Reeks of Aerosoft quality trying to make a terrible attempt at making ETS 2 but coaches. I look forward to this game being forgotten once the ETS Coaches DLC releases.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty bad game, 2-3 minutes loadingscreen 0 optimized mid settings like 30 fps but with a good pc. buttons dont word with mouse. overall bad game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have not best PC, but i don't have worst PC. On all YT videos this game looked nice so I wanted to try it. When i Tried It did not feel in graphic as great as it in YT, even i f i had High or Epic settings. When i was in bus camera made my PC loose some FPS for a sec.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →does not work with my steering wheel cant even play it btw the steering wheel is logitech g29
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great to just let off some steam
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bug simulator. That's all. I've trying to play this game for years, i have a top end pc, but this game is just bug simulator. A very good looking game that can't handle ilumination on a city at night in 2025 after 8 years of release, is just ridicolous. Sh*tty company tbh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad game! So many technical problems and gameplay.... I wish I wasn't tempted to purchase it... Bad decision.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gfdgsdafraw faw fcz vfeawsfz cwafsafdwa
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hard to connect your steering wheel and its too complicated
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game - the cities are detailed and feel on par with ETS2 and sometimes even surpass them - looking at you UK on ETS. Really enjoying it, wish I would have tried it sooner. The rain and thunderstorm effects are some of the most realistic I have witnessed too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very poorly optimized and the locations in the map repeat themselves with no difference
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring. No real Career. Have to build your own routes. graohics are MEH, Scenery is ETS wannabe. Boring game. Not exciting at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game would be massively helped if they put more effort into the map design and physics. It aims to be a hyper realistic driving sim, but slopes don't change the behaviour of the bus. The map also feels... neglected at times, with the traffic light cycles being extremely frustrating, and unrealistic. Also all but like 3 busses are DLC which is absolutely absurd.
