60 of 146 · most liked firstPros: Interesting story. Funny conversations. Alot of plot twists. Cons: Limited map interaction. Backup is always miles away, and when it does arrive, only your Sgt is there who scolds you about insignificant stuff. NPCs can be buggy, and are very predictable. Whenever you discover a new clue, you have to interact with most NPCs you've already talked to AGAIN in order to continue the storyline. You cannot drive, nor is there an animation of you pulling into a scene. The cruiser is practically…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Police(Investigator) simulation with some nice twists. Some actions have to be done in Turn Based Fashion, you have alot of tools at your disposal and will also be interrogating suspects. This is done by gathering as many clues as you can on the scene. Also, it is important to sometimes play the game in a stealthy way. Don't go running in with a gun and shoot everyone, try a tactical approach. Distract the suspects so you can arrest them and get more information. Technically, I had no…

Take on the role of a lone police officer responding to call-outs that take place across scripted, but semi-open levels viewed in first-person. Gameplay involves talking to NPCs, finding clues, making arrests and turn-based combat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not fun, bad controls, poorly optimized, the first tutorial was pretty good but the "negotiation" tutorial was horrible and makes no sense. The negotiation is supposedly an event where you should look for logical inconsistencies in the argument, but the entire argument is summed up extremely poorly in the little cards. Two of the cards are apparently good and one is apparently bad, but in reality all three are bad. It could be a translation issue? Not sure. Either way, I love logic puzzles but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Save your money. as you can see i have 5 hours of play time, time which included much repetition. Throughout you work through, story line which seems hashed together and forced. The missions are far too linear and leave little choice to the player. I would say there is zero replayability, apart from trying to get 100% on all missions, which was only missed because of bugs in the game not allowing certain actions to be completed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool concept but poorly executed - seems like a constant theme for PlayWay games. I honestly don't think the price is justifiable. The Assets look like they've been bought from the Unity store - Everything about the game feels rushed and the controls are quite clunky. you don't have much freedom in the missions. It's quite slow paced and the missions are too mundane to continue playing
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game felt like "Anti Police Shootout" they force you to gather all the information on a scene when you know that there is an active shooter or psychopath with a firearm who is about to murder you and every other civilian in the building, but no... They want you to get everyone's back story before stepping foot to subdue the criminal. Suppose you fail to obtain the information needed. In that case, you fail the negotiation attempts and lose points due to killing a suspect when they were…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At £1.15 this game was worth the risk. It was vaguely interesting for an hour or so but the missions are very 'samey'. You turn up at a crime scene, always alone and with no back up. You question a bunch of people casually idling around despite the drama kicking off seconds away, you engage in a bizarrely stilted shoot out with someone wearing the same face as the person you just questioned and then you get in your car and it's mission complete. There's a back story of sorts, some tedious…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Video of my gameplay below This is an interesting one , you arrive at a crime scene and have to interview people, gather information deal with crimes, solve the crime and then move on, part puzzle as speaking to the right person at the right time can yield different results or giving you a key for example. Once combat starts it goes into like a turn-based 3D FPS mode so you choose where to aim , you get AP and have to deal with the situation. I usually go for kill shots but you can do less…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No, no and one more no. It takes like 5 hours to finish the game, and thats it. No sandbox, nothing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sometimes when I see discounts of over 90%, I compulsively buy a game for no particular reason, launch it later (most of the time I’ve already forgotten that I even bought it), and realize that it’s basically unplayable or absolute slop. Then I have to decide whether it’s worth getting a refund or just saying “füсk it, whatever” and keeping it for the collection and to increase my game count
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is very short. I paid to play some missions. joke
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Police work and locations might be a bit repetitive, but this is still a fun game. Cases are selected from the map. It begins with a simple dispute in a parking lot and progresses to situations with a lot more at stake. There are only five locations, each with two cases. Although the majority of the stage is the same, each of the cases opens a path that is not available in the other. They take place in conventional crime scenes like a store, motel, or warehouse. Locations are small and can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are definitely some cool features, I love the different scenarios and talking to NPCs to find clues! You can also pick either stealth or going ham, depending on your mood. But man, they need to work on stuff too: first off, not much you can interact with in the environment, so it kinda feels flat. Secondly, those turn-based gunfights? Total letdown. Police Shootout isn't bad, but it could be way better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its not the worst... But it's not great either. You may get a few hours of entertainment out of it, as it is a decent concept that has quite a few flaws. The biggest issue is the slow pace. Not a slow pace as in tactical, but the 15 minutes you spend running around talking to people before you engage any suspects. During Hostage situations, active assaults, and thefts you casually stroll around outside talking to random people getting info. I understand the point is to gather info for the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An extremely solid turn-based police simulator, somewhat reminiscent SWAT. Pleased with the abundance of various missions, as well as dynamic gameplay. Your task as a policeman is to help people and protect them, as well as prevent crimes on your territory. First of all, you must be able to resolve the situation peacefully.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not that awesome as i though
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completed the game within 4 hours... to short if you ask me... Glad I bought it for $1.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was kinda weirded out by it's turn based gameplay in first person but thought i just give it a chance, maybe it is cool. It is not :D But that is not even the biggest problem, game could stil be fun but you feel it in every move you make that this game was designed by someone who really has no idea about game design. Horrible choices, very counterintuitive all the way. Don't buy this, you gonna regret it no matter how much the Police theme calls you, this game is just bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is definetly too short. Only 3h to end game. I very like the plot of the missions, game is technically good, but for this price definetly too short. I mean if I would like to speedrun this game I will need something about 1.5h
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't HATE the game but man it's so jank. Neat ideas but not super great execution. The voice acting is pretty terrible with a cheesy ass story to boot. This would be forgivable if not for the fact the game has broken English all over the place. I have no idea where the developers are from but it's very clear they are not native speakers. This is kind of a problem when a huge chunk of the game is the focus on negotiations.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny policeman simulator with a turn-based mechanic and strategy highly recommed to complete a tutorial Simple, but pretty nice graphic Hope you enjoy it :}
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice game and nothing more. More of an investigation game. And definitely not a shooting game! I bought it cheap so it didn't really bother me. But, then again, it's not a shooting game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the demo/Prologue of this game and didnt really liked it. I only bought the game because its was in a bundle and really cheap. But this game is better then i have thought. There is a main story and many side stories in the missions. The mechancs are really well made, even though some could be expanded, and the voiceovers are really good. The skill achievements are a bit annoying but theyre pretty easy to manage. All in one a really cool game. I can really recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →played the game for 5 hours, completed it, can do nothing more after the story line which felt rather incomplete, had hoped for more out of this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →did you understand how to make a game fun?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →for the price it's decent 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most people would say this game does not look good i find interesting you should definitely buy this game i got it on promotion for 2 21 euro even 14 79 Euro s would be worth it the graphismes are pretty good you dont need a high end pc to run this game one of my favorite police games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a case where game design sounds great on paper but turns out to be terrible in both action and execution. Emphasizing a police shootout as a main selling point and revealing it as a real barebones turn-based FPS is not good. The game is essentially functional and exceedingly short. A main glaring issue is the player is even rewarded in mission success, experience, and lore with knocking out suspects than being in shootouts which is textbook bad design. It violates the point of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ANY UPDATES? the game was pretty ... not alot good to say about it.. just another cookie cutter quick cash grab.. no story line or purpose.. i finished it all in less then 8 hours.. im use to the old school *swat* games.. was expecting that.. wasnt impressed.. but if their going for an award maybe they will add some new stuff,or just make the old stuff better..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one time, like 3 months ago, I saw two guys kissing in the park. That was the most gay thing I had ever seen until I played Police Shootout.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not fun at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't play very long didn't expect the turn based action to suck so hard, shoot someone in the head and the take damage and don't die instantly had a few funny interactions but there are better simulators out there for sure. Do I want a refund? sure I do! but i took that chance purchasing just hope they would fix this at least I tired it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intresting cop simulator. The game is far superior to my expectations. I was first interested in the art, and then the gameplay concept. This game definitely deserves your attention. Against the backdrop of most modern games, this project is implemented very well. I would like to see new updates and features in the game. In the end, i can say that the game is very pleasant to play.

Set in the fictional town of San Adrino, the game places players in the role of Scott Price, a rookie police officer navigating the challenges of everyday law enforcement in a small, seemingly quiet community. Unlike many fast-paced shooters, Police Shootout…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I personally had a great time playing the game! Its different and definitely not for everyone but at its current price id say its a good game to pickup! Shame its so short and it is abit rough around the edges. Would love more missions and/ or DLC as its not a long game whatsoever and does feel unfinished or rushed, it will only take you about 4 hours to finish the entire game and theres no replay value at all which is a shame. Watch some game play online, if it interests you, id recommend it!…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game. I prefer Police Quest Collection my self.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TO the developer, Just make the shooting normal, I know you wanted to use the cute gimmick, but its too quick, inconsistent and hard to use. First of all, it either needs to be a bit slower or the length of hold needs to be a bit longer. I have great visual acuity, and I could time that speed, but would need more passes to do so. Also, the line does NOT start at the same point every time, So after trying the first shot, the line coming from the far left passing the middle to the right and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don’t expect a reply from the developer but I have to say that the overall job is well done. It’s a pity that the stun gun has relatively few bullets and it’s not easy to catch them all at the end of the level. But the story is good. I thought my brother was being caught by a police detective. Kidnapped, because the timing of the detective coming out was really amazing, and I always thought he was the suspect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy Sh.. this game is boring. How is this even a game...? I should have gave the $ to a homeless person. It would have brought me more joy to see them use it on crack. Just let us go in and shoot people. Why is it called police shootout if we get penalty for shooting bad guys?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thanks for this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely an interesting concept. I've enjoyed my time with the game and plan to play more however I do have some concerns. Gameplay looks like it'll get repetitive fast. There don't seem to be enough perks/skills also the turn based combat is also on a timer. This in itself isn't necessarily a bad thing however when you point and shoot you need to time your shot similar to Mario Golf as opposed to an actual FPS. Honestly what I would prefer for turn based battles is a hit and parry/cover…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adventures of a policeman in San Adriano. An action game with user-friendly controls, excellent graphics and exciting gameplay. The plot game situations are based on real events, such as unforeseen and dangerous hostage situations. The priority in solving the problem is to be able to resolve the situation peacefully. The game will definitely come to fans of this genre.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i had little expectations for this game and it couldn't even meet that. I liked the idea of turn based, gathering evidence and trying to talk down potential threats. Being turn based and having some more time on your hands I was hoping for even a touch of police procedure and there was NOTHING. It seems quite obvious the creators did not talk with law enforcement, read a manual or heck even watch a TV show or movie because they could have learned a little more from that. I am glad I got this…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SUMMARY (Checklist below): A very atmospheric and engaging police game. You play the role of a patrol cop who has to respond to a set of callouts such as robbery at a supermarket, harassment in a motel, hostage at a petrol station etc. These are very well crafted and require you to use your wits and tools to resolve the situations. You can either take an aggressive approach and use your gun a lot, try to avoid shooting and use less lethal weapons (taser and baton) or talk your way out of…
