No one will ever convince me that Father Mother Sister Brother was so well liked by a jury panel across the board 😭.... Come on, man...
He killed the current Ayatollahs father, mother, sister, brother in law, niece, nephew, son, and wife in a day and now says “oh he’s alone because he’s gay”. I can’t hide my disgust anymore, Epstein was right, not a decent cell in his body. Just glorified serial killing
FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER is immense and sublime. A film about how close we feel to our families yet how unknowable they are. Radical in its gentleness and apparent simplicity, yet profound and narratively rich, it brought tears to my eyes. A very beautiful, special film.
FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER is Jim Jarmusch's latest that speaks about the medicinal nature of water, which provides a sense of irony given how one might just need therapeutics after sitting through this uneven bore. Aesthetically static at times and impoverished otherwise.
