It really does feel likely you exclusively spend your time on things that actually matter in this game, and that’s a quality that is sadly underrepresented in modern tactical RPGs

unlabelledView post →Fae Tactics (PC) Fae Tactics is a Tactical RPG This game was lovingly crafted with FFT and Tactics Ogre fans in mind. Despite its bright colors and monster collecting, the story takes on a darker political tone similar those before it. Emphasizes elemental weaknesses, pushing you to counterpick

unlabelledView post →I don't have a Steam Deck but I think they might work well as I am a Controller only player so here some suggestion. Fae Tactics: didn't get far but it's a cute Tactical RPG. Pipistrello and the Cursed Yo-yo: a Metroidvania top view game if you like easy to solve puzzles.

unlabelledView post →Mayo! Fae Tactics ended up not being what I wanted in a Tactics game. I unistalled it from Steam. Apothecary Diaries.
unlabelledView post →Thank you 🧡! I'm studying a few games. For learning isometric: Final Fantasy Tactics, Divinity Original Sin 2 (Not pixel art but it's the game that made me fall in love with isometric tactics games) and Fae Tactics. For just pixel art, mainly Comix Zone and Blasphemous. The art in those games are 👌.

unlabelledView post →Funnily, being able to push enemies around in tRPGs is one of my checkmarks for "good game." Specifically if I can hit them off of tall terrain. Probably why I love Into the Breach so much. Fae Tactics also has this as well as insta-kill water for non-water units and it rules.

unlabelledView post →A game I really APPRECIATE but don't play very much is Splatoon. Also Zelda has been growing on me in recent times. If Fae Tactics every got a sequel I'd be all over that game
unlabelledView post →Fae Tactics lacks some polish but oh my god what a good game. Final Fantasy Tactics combined with Pokemon style monster collecting and elements with some legitimately really interesting gameplay that springs out of it 'simplifying' some aspects of both.
unlabelledView post →An old fav remains Valdis Story if you missed that one. Its got some extremely challenging difficulty levels and remains my fav metroidvania. I also really enjoyed their followup game Fae Tactics. An SRPG. I also very much liked the game Small Saga even if its extremely short and easy.

unlabelledView post →I'm one of those sickos that likes Legend over Secret, even is Legend is flawed. 999 is easily one of the best VN/puzzle games I've ever played. More people looking for an FFT fix need to play Fae Tactics. Lastly, who could ever complain about Dishonored 2.

For a tactics strategy game to work for me, I need to feel some connection to the story. Unfortunately for Fae Tactics, the clash between the human world and the fae world, with a human capable of magic, a bird, and a dog, trying to reach some…
