positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyable but far too simple for anyone with real time in factory‑building or automation games. I finished the game including all achievements in about 8 hours. The core loop is fun, but the depth just isn’t there. There are also a few bugs, and the framerate suffers badly when zooming in on busy factories. The price is fine for what’s here, but the game feels more like a short introduction to the genre than a full experience

I would support it for what it is, but the price is a bit steep for what you get, even with a discount. There's also a lot of missing QoL features, like moving parts, or entire areas around, or copy and pasting areas, making blueprints, etc. Like, the megafactory idea is to build "cells" and then scale it up by copying and pasting them. It could be somewhat novel if we were talking about alien resources, or maybe…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A chill factory building game. Engagement comes from getting the timing of production and the material transfer optimized. With new produce requirements and upgrades to your current production blocks urging you to build gathering and maker hubs with forethought. Small touches of character, like the comments accompanying upgrades. Knowing the engineering team found an appreciation for squishing things as I unlock the Compressor block is nice. The layout of the different centers of fabrication,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look, I know, I know.. a review at 10 minutes played, are you serious?? But I played through the demo three times, so I already know this game pretty well. What appeals to me is the, uh, I almost want to say curated experience. There is always an objective to work on, but the game doesn't tell you exactly what to do. I like that guidance, and also that it's so relaxed. It's just nice. And very affordable right now with the launch discount!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea but unfortunately i think its quite poorly executed, controlling conveyors is super clunky. The merger or w.e is super buggy and changes outputs inputs every time you move something beside it which makes absolutely no sense. After about 45 minutes i got a game breaking bug where it would create a bunch of items when i would click in a path bottom left to top right of the screen destroying anything i previously built... Cant recommend in the current state it needs a lot more work imo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Will probably play it a bit more to be sure, but this game seems to offer nothing unique or interesting to the genre, and the controls are so clunky and hard to use that I've spend a good chunk of my gametime just figuring out how to get my conveyors to actually connect. It's not intuitive at all and several times more difficult in terms of just getting the conveyors to move things in the direction you want then any other factory builder I have other played. Add the simplicity of it all and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried the Demo of Factory Magnate, its the factory game simplified, but perhaps a tad to much. Because all the buildings are 1x1 routing got a bit to annoying, just look at the monstrosity in the third image. It kinda needs factorio underground belts. But yeah has some potential still anyway.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, yet complex. Relaxing compared to many other game in the genre. I like it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and chill top-down factory game. No need to worry about keeping everything powered and running, just straight into the main point: Building and constructing what you need to progress. Number goes up, brain goes brrrrrrrrrrrrr and oh my god the meowing sound when launching the game frightened my cat, which surprised my partner, dropping some kitchen utensils, scaring my cat further again which scared her once more. 10/10 would launch and scare the heck out of them all again

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cozy, casual Factory game. If you are looking for a game like Factorio or Satisfactory, this is not it. But if you like clear objectives and a little belt puzzle, you can easily sink a few hours into this wihtout really noticing. I saw a bit of a performance and memory issue when I first played the game, but it got fixed in less than a day of reporting it. Overall a very positive experience!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been quietly following this games development for awhile now and I am glad to see it is finally out! After about an hour, I can say it feels like a fairly solid and laid back factory/idle game! I look forwards to future additions, QOL updates and what the community comes up with!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like others have said this game is very simple. Wouldn't be too bad if the bugs didn't make it frustrating. Belts were a big pain. The grid is very small and it is easy to go off and make bends where I didn't mean to. You can hold shift to stay in the lane but then you can't turn the belt. If two belts were next to each other sometimes items will jump over to the other belt. There is a money system to buy buildings and items but it is so generous that it can be completely ignored. I wasn't…

It may not be as complicated as some of the big time factory games, but trying to figure out how to optimize stuff is quite fun.
