unlabelledView post →The movie Executive Decision was made when Steven Segal was "popular," so at the time it was a bold creative choice to subvert audience expectations by setting up a "badass" and killing him. Now, it it's a brilliant move because the movie kills Steven Segal, who sucks, and makes room for BD Wong.

unlabelledView post →in the movie Executive Decision (1996), a fictional F-117 variant is able to carry a team of 4+ people inside the payload area somehow. I'm working on a theory that the Grand Am Daytona Prototype had a similar functional capacity, which explains why it was shaped *like that*
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision was my favorite SS movie. He gets killed super early in the film. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7T7...
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision. Also the best Steven Seagal film.
unlabelledView post →watching Executive Decision as background while mortaring model stone walls and had forgotten that human thumb Seagal was in it. Never has a man looked more like he really needed a poo the whole way through a film.
unlabelledView post →The movie “Executive Decision” was based on his courageous actions.
unlabelledView post →Character actor extraordinare. Staple of tv (MURDER SHE WROTE, NIGHT COURT, MAGNUM PI, STAR TREK) and film (EXECUTIVE DECISION, COTTON COMES TO HARLEM) @dandock.bsky.social would know him better as crimelord Stromwell in BATMAN: TAS
unlabelledView post →If you've not seen it, I highly recommend Stephen Tobolowsky's (best known as Ned Ryerson from Groundhog Day) story on working with Seagal: youtu.be/5cUNU8GkMso?... I'd also add that Executive Decision is his only decent post-Under Siege movie with a most un-Seagal like element to his role.
unlabelledView post →My #LastFourWatched for #LetterboxdFriday Nothing really too noteworthy this week. Executive Decision was a solid action movie…pretty intense throughout. I still haven’t recovered my fully recovered from seeing Dan Akyroyd with bleached blonde hair in Neighbors. #Filmsky
unlabelledView post →First, the Royals avoided getting swept, which I greatly appreciated. But the biggest news of today is that I just sat through an entire movie and that movie was called Executive Decision and it was the most intense thing I think I've ever seen in my entire life, I may never sleep
unlabelledView post →TRIVIA: 'Executive Decision' is one of four movies featuring Kurt Russell and J.T. Walsh. They also appeared in 'Tequila Sunrise' (1988), 'Backdraft' (1991), and 'Breakdown' (1997). This is the only movie in which they don't share any scenes together. (IMDB) 🖤
unlabelledView post →my favorite Seagal film is EXECUTIVE DECISION, because jeez you don't really see twists like that anymore!
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision is an A+ 90s action movie imo
unlabelledView post →Can you please watch Executive Decision (Seagal’s greatest movie) and report back?
unlabelledView post →seeing this prompt earlier made me want to find and rewatch Executive Decision, the first R-rated movie my parents ever let me watch, and I was Not Ready for these opening credits
unlabelledView post →It should just be a thing that James Bond always dies in the last film with a given actor. Maybe not even in the climax. I want a Bond film where Bond is killed in the first act a la Steven Seagal in Executive Decision
unlabelledView post →Tonight's movie. A long day at work calls for some Kurt Russel. Yep watching Executive Decision. #filmsky #kurtrussel #executivedecision
unlabelledView post →I am picturing Taylor Swift changing planes in midair, like Executive Decision or the bad guys in that one Batman movie.
unlabelledView post →I'm very grateful for the work, but January is over at last and I'm pooped. Time for some food, a tasty beer and a silly action film: Executive Decision, 1996.
unlabelledView post →EXECUTIVE DECISION (1996) so deceptive it made you think Seagal was actually in the movie
unlabelledView post →I think #GlenOrGlenda is a Bela Lugosi movie the way Executive Decision is a Steven Segal film #TCMParty
unlabelledView post →RIP Richard Norton, who played the bad guy in this ripoff of DIE HARD/EXECUTIVE DECISION/THE ROCK that the company I was working for at the time made. Cast also included Paul Winfield, Amanda Wyss from ELM STREET and Bryan Cranston in the Atherton/DIE HARD role. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tMq...
unlabelledView post →Hey now, "Executive Decision" is a very fun movie to watch! Coincidentally Steven Seagal's character dies about 1/4 of the way through. 😅
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision is a fantastic 90s movie and also has an insane supporting cast. David Suchet, JT Walsh, John Leguizamo, Oliver Platt, BD Wong, Joe Morton, Andreas Katsulas, Richard Riehle, Mary Ellen Trainor, it's an amazing gathering of "hey it's that guy/gal!" and it works so well.
unlabelledView post →I was reminded that the film Executive Decision exists today and watched out of nostalgia because I saw it in theaters as a teen and a friend at the time stormed out 15 minutes in when Steven Segal died unexpectedly. Good times.
unlabelledView post →I had seen most of the Friday the 13th movies and other horror and action movies before I was 15 lol My family and I saw Executive Decision *in the theater* when I was 6 years old That movie absolutely rips btw
unlabelledView post →skill at tension, a standout chase sequence in a nursing home (!) spins its plates confidently. (Baird, normally an editor, also directed the enjoyable “Executive Decision.”) This is hardly a perfect movie, but it’s diverting as a story, and TLJ and his team elevate it into brisk, genuine fun. (3/3)
unlabelledView post →I would agree it’s his best film, with Executive Decision coming in a close second. I think he’s got one or others that are decent. Above The Law is well made and Hard To Kill is at least enjoyable trash. It’s pretty much diminishing returns after that. On Deadly Ground is almost so bad it’s good. 😀
unlabelledView post →I say The Thing, but it's my favourite film so I would say that. Executive Decision, though. Tux and little specs is a good look for him.
unlabelledView post →A fiend of mine was so excited to see the movie Executive Decision because of Steven Seagal and then he died in the first 20 minutes of the film. She was so mad.
unlabelledView post →This is why I recommend Executive Decision. It's a trash movie, but Steven Segal's character gets ejected into midair and dies bc there was a technical failure while attempting to board a 747 via docking sleeve in midflight
unlabelledView post →i watched his early stuff and was "ok- it's an action movie" Under Siege excelled because it was propelled by Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey and it had a good director yes i know that Executive Decision is a Kurt movie i do like when Seagal flies off the airplane hatch
unlabelledView post →Yet, ironically, the finest demonstration of this principle on film comes in the movie Executive Decision (co-starring Marla Maples Trump) in which Steven Seagal plays the most badass special forces operator to ever badass, and embarrassingly dies seconds into the deployment accomplishing nothing.
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision & Black Rain get mentioned so often by me that they’ve both become punchlines by this point, lol, but yeah, any movie where Joe Morton & Oliver Platt save the day to rocks.
unlabelledView post →it's time for the Academy to recognize that he deserves all the awards for having had to put up with Steven Seagal on the set of EXECUTIVE DECISION (1996) and being choked out as part of the reason for Seagal getting jettisoned from the movie (and then jettisoned IN the movie)
unlabelledView post →This scene always makes me wanna watch Executive Decision. Not just because that movie rules but it's a wonderful thing when a movie nails an opening. #Fthismoviefest #Armageddon

unlabelledView post →His only good film (possible exception: Executive Decision)?
unlabelledView post →Executive Decision, though also a movie about an F-117 and fights aboard a hijacked cargo aircraft (funny that this is multiple films)
unlabelledView post →I don’t know what it says about me that “It’s an Executive Decision now” was the first quote that leapt into my brain. The movie isn’t even really ABOUT that!
unlabelledView post →i did appreciate Ebert’s review of Executive Decision: “Any movie prepared to kill off Steven Seagal in the first 20 minutes is prepared for anything, and so I perked right up.”
unlabelledView post →Movie releases on Wrestlers DOB: Jericho - 'Ryan's Daughter' (9th Nov 70) MJF - 'Executive Decision' (15th Mar 1996) Jay White - 'Under Siege' (9th Oct 92) Anna Jay - 'Something About Mary' (15th July 98) ........... unlabelledView post →good flick. Executive Decision might be your next one? It's almost the same film, but with Oliver Platt being very Oliver Plattish.
unlabelledView post →I like Marked for Death and Out for Justice a lot but I wouldn’t call them “good” per se. Under Siege is the best combination of actual quality and fun. Executive Decision is really a Kurt Russell movie.
unlabelledView post →Don't forget his finest performance in Executive Decision. He was pretty heavily promoted in the ads for the movie, and when he died pretty early in the movie, I remember the theater cheering.
unlabelledView post →#Edwards2026MovieThingChallenge August 16 - movie scene that shows an airplane in flight Executive Decision (1996) #filmsky #moviesky ...when terrorists seize control of an airliner, an Intelligence Analyst accompanies a commando unit for a midair boarding operation...

unlabelledView post →Spoiler Alert for a movie from 1996: This reminds me of the movie “Executive Decision” where everyone in the theater thought they were seeing a Steven Seagal action flick because it was 1996 and he was a huge fucking action star and Seagal ends up dying in the first act!
unlabelledView post →Hey Bluesky I am going to watch a movie It has Seagal in it Now watching Executive Decision
unlabelledView post →(EXECUTIVE DECISION is a good movie if you like Kurt Russell and a great movie if you hate Seagal.)
unlabelledView post →Currently watching the best Steven Seagal movie - Executive Decision - where he dies in the first 15 minutes.
