unlabelledView post →_Dude, Where's My Car?_ is so much better than it had any right to be. And while the main characters are stoners, most of the humor isn't stoner humor. Not that there's anything wrong with stoner humor, but movies that consist entirely of stoner humor tend to drag after a while.

unlabelledView post →What happened to "stoner" comedies?. Half-Baked. Happy Gilmore. Billy Madison. Grandma's Boy. Dude, Where's My Car? Where have the movies like this gone? Clerks 3 was, I think, the last good one I've ever seen (and even they got too real and too sad so I don't even know if I ever want to see it again as a comedy). There's gotta be some good, funny shit that's even funnier when stoned out of your mind that's more recent than that, right?
unlabelledView post →I nominate "[Dude, Where's My Car?](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0242423/)". I thought this was screamingly funny when it came out. It was the movie everyone quoted until "Napoleon Dynamite" came out. I tried rewatching it maybe a year or two ago and it's aged like milk. Too much of the comedy relies on unhealthy stereotypes & tropes.

unlabelledView post →I thought *Dude, Where's My Car?* was very entertaining - maybe not a cinematic masterpiece, but way better than the 9 out of 10 reviews I read that all said it was the worst movie they had ever seen. I'm not exaggerating - they didn't just say it was bad, I remember nine of the ten literally called it "the worst movie I've ever seen."
unlabelledView post →People in the comments have said Dude, Where's My Car and Wild Wild West. I am sorry man those movies are not fine art but they are quite watchable and sometimes very funny. Pre-crashout Will Smith was always great to see. But also like what is this scene. Why is Kenneth Branagh here???

unlabelledView post →So, finally saw 'Dude, Where's My Car?' for the first time last night. It certainly was made in 2000! It was also released on December 15, so I'm counting it towards my Holiday movie quota. I now also wish there were aliens in 'Dude, Where's My Fox?'.

unlabelledView post →The opening sequence of 'Dude, Where's My Car?' includes a buxom CG furry for no apparent reason. I don't think it has anything to do with the rest of the movie, does it? Someone had to decide to put it in the movie, and it had to be worked into the budget... Does anyone know the story behind this?

unlabelledView post →With the exception of bankable (and thus already rich) stars getting percentages as part of their contract, they've already been paid before the movie is released. Whether or not you buy Dude, Where's My Car? has no effect on anyone who's not either the studio or stars who are paid a fortune already.

unlabelledView post →*VAGUE SPOILER FOR FORGOTTEN ISLAND* . . . . . . . . . . . I'm kinda shocked than no other animated movie (as far as I know) basically took the "Dude, Where's My Car?" premise and plopped it in a wacky, mystical world.

unlabelledView post →I agree wholeheartedly, but I guess my point is this: look at Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle v. Dude, Where's My Car? and maybe the latter didn't even put in the effort to even be slackercore? I honestly will likely watch this in the next week, and will likely have a great time, BUT, at the time I was 17 and my scruples were **palpable**
