unlabelledView post →Decided to finally watch Dragon Ball Super Hero. I think it's my favorite Dragon Ball movie! The writing was much better than the other movies, and the focus on characters usually pushed into the background was very refreshing.
unlabelledView post →He was a longtime Toei staple (Did some fine work on the PreCure series!) but his one-two punch of direction on Dragon Ball Super: Broly and One Piece Film: Z is a stellar record on its own. Broly helped make Dragon Ball films feel like events again...
unlabelledView post →watched Dragon Ball Super Broly in a packed theater. Everyone clapped and cheered when Vegeta went Super Saiyan God. During the scene where Broly drinks water and is like, "that's good water" there was a little boy in front of us that said "I like water too!" 10/10 movie experience

But when it starts leaving out important plot details, can it still stand on its own? youtu.be/LLBfVLFigzY

unlabelledView post →Was DRAGON BALL: SUPER HERO a *good* movie? Probably not, the pacing was all over the place and there was a mountain of exposition But as a gal who has loved the franchise her whole life (Gohan especially) and has wanted it to focus on folks other than Goku for ages I had an absolute blast
unlabelledView post →I remember we showed L both The Super Mario Bros Movie and Dragon Ball Super Hero in one night, and out of two titles with Charles Martinet making an appearance, the latter was way better.
unlabelledView post →with the news of Tatsuya Nagamine passing, I rewatched Dragon Ball Super: Broly and *good god damn* this movie will always be grade-A "can't tear my eyes away from it" probably gonna rewatch One Piece Film Z next, that's another banger
unlabelledView post →The passing of Tatsuya Nagamine is tragic. If you ever watched One Piece Film: Z, the later parts of Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power arc, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, or One Piece's Wano arc and noticed a certain *energy* about them, its because he was at the helm of all that stuff. RIP.
unlabelledView post →RIP Tatsuya Nagamine. Gone too soon. He has worked on a lot of great projects, but my personal favorite has to be the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. It's such a visual spectacle and really one of those movie experiences, that I will never forget. Really sad news..
unlabelledView post →Dragon Ball Super Broly. Good movie. 9/10. Couple scenes that had too many colours and patterns and gave me a headache, and the opening bit was a bit janky because they had to rewrite the lore, but otherwise, very good movie.
unlabelledView post →81. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero (Dub Rewatch) Still a damn good DB movie.
unlabelledView post →Moon showed me the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie and we had an absolute blast! I only ever got to catch a few episodes of Z growing up but don't recall much about the series, so being reintroduced to it by my beautiful wife makes me enjoy it a ton.

Getting brainrot over a lady named after some kinda fruit in a Dragon Ball Super movie is on the docket so enjoy (and expect) a wee bit of Cheelai with some #transformation on the side.
