positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Proof that a twin-stick shooter can be a work of art. Destropolis' minimalist art style is bolstered by intelligent gameplay with precision weapon and skill mechanics, and persistent level progression across play sessions. The aesthetics and gameplay are elevated by LukHash's beautiful synthwave soundtrack and the integration of tempo manipulation with Bullet Time works to create a beautiful example of digital love. -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A clean and simple twin-stick shooter. If you love those and really need a new one to scratch the itch go for it - it's just $5. But otherwise there are many better ones out there. There's no real progression or sense of purpose in here. It's just you and hordes of enemies, ruined buildings, and random pickups. By accumulating total score you unlock new weapons or ingame perks, sure, but most feel just the same as the other ones and there's no permanent upgrades of any sort. In that sense,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good clean fun destroying polygons that want to destroy you so its a give and take affair. Sometimes you eat the cube sometimes the cubes smash you. Didn't quite hook me but its fun enough in spurts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The new update is lit. My old review was still recommended, but I listed a litany of complaints and it was very negative overall. That old review is wrong, so it's gone. Of course I still recommend the game, it's a blast. So many things have been tuned, changed, and improved across the board. It's a bit easy to start now, but it's sooo fun. Explosions everywhere. More guns, better guns. If you want a chill game to zone out after a hard day, this is your ticket. You get to be the conductor…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no replay value, you run out of ammo almost immediately, enemies scale in difficulty, and in order to match the difficulty you NEED to get extremely luck on weapon drops AND upgrades
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, stylish shmup, but I'm also frustrated with some of its design decisions. Like the best shmups, you have to manage a lot of things at the same time in order to be successful. Short term: Red shapes are all around in desperate need to be shot by you. They start off small, but as you progress they rise in size, hit points, and lethality. Destroying them earns you points and sometimes items. These items are either active-use guns…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Destropolis is a simplistic, flawed twin-stick shooter that mainly qualifies as an artsy amusement that doesn't suggest reason to recommend it aside from artsy amusement. So, watch a video, think about how mildly cute it seems, then move on and forget it. You can move, shoot, and swap between your two weapons (obtained as random drops), which are limited both by "heat" (cools down while unused) and by ammo (not replenished, pick up another weapon for ammo). Enemies drift slowly at you in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool idea but without permanent upgrades rather boring. Would love to see some sorta progress to have reason to play the game besides "looks cool" and "number go up"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple arena survival game with a small variety of weapons and abilities. I've got a little over 3 hours in this game and roughly 3 million points. I'm reaching a point where it's losing its replayability; there's a single map and the only real variable element is the limited perk selection. There is no unlockable element between runs, just the cumulative points total going up. It doesn't feel like any real progression is being made. The max achievement is for 100 million points, which based on…

You could buy something on sale (Destropolis is nice) and join the fun. You need to download daily to get the full 12. Today's game is Exorder. No relation, just like games. #gaming #NoGravity #Nintendo #Exorder #Switch #Destropolis

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun cheap twin stick shooter that looks real pretty.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game with simple game play mechanics and catchy visual style. I'm not very good at it, but I'm still having a blast playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Attack of the Polygons! Destropolis is a great time-killer. Destroy the polygons to level up and gain abilities... and try to survive as long as you can. Simple, but amazing! Plus, it's cheap! Great fun for a great price!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This style of game is pretty well known nowadays, some versions become extremely popular for reasons that escape me completely. This variant though, should be on the top of your list. Explosively satisfying, and with an attribute noticeably missing from it's brethren's offerings, co-op! Using Steamplay you can load into local co-op for some very fun destructive buddy time, but over the net instead. Or do what I do and strap one of your small humans down next to you and share a keyboard. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, endless twin stick shooter / score chaser with roguelike elements. Leaderboards are included, which adds extra replayability. Great value for money. Recommended! (8/10)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's almost like the hacking mini games in Nier Automata but in 3D! And it's fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Destropolis, developed by Igrek Games and published by Games Incubator and PlayWay S.A., is a top-down shooter that thrusts players into a relentless and chaotic futuristic urban battleground. From the moment you start, the game demands fast reflexes and strategic positioning as you face off against waves of relentless enemies—primarily red, geometrically stylized cubes—that swarm across the cityscape. What immediately distinguishes Destropolis from other shooters is its fully destructible…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of a kind arcade top-down shooter. Makes me go one more round. Very good gameplay balance. Cool explosions and demolitions with stable framerate. Hard and challenging achievements. Very recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, easy, yet lots of depth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Today's free Switch game from No Gravity Games is Destropolis. You are a small cube fighting off other geometric shapes by any means necessary, pew pew pew! It's fun, can confirm. North America only, must have yesterday's, need this to get tomorrow's for free. #NoGravityGames #Nintendo #Destropolis

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very underappreciated little game. I had an absolute blast playing this with friends. It's so simple to pick up, the art style is very satisfying, and the gameplay is solid. What's not to like?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It can be fun but there just isn't much to it. Got bored after the hour and a half of playtime. There are better games out there in this genre.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best twin-stick shooters I've played, and I've played what feels like all of them. Pretty much feels like Crimsonland with a minimalist look. Great graphics and plays great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Inexpensive polygon-destroying shooting fun. CrimsonLand is aged, and its time for a new quick dose of gun-play violence. Would like to see unlockable player "polygons" with characteristics and aptitudes (!). More weaponry and powerups are always welcome - hopefully the developer continues Destropolis efforts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, fun, and great to kill time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's very simple. Destroy the red blocks before they destroy you. Great mind numbing gaming, easy to use, and you can have quick sessions instead of a major time investment if you want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It cheap, but what you see is really what you get. It's just a high score chaser, the same level all over again. It feels like a demo if you ask me. And I was surprised to see such a small game since it got nominated in 2023 for still bringing updates to an old game. I really really like twin stick shooters, but I don't really see a reason to play this above others. Good news is that it works flawlessly in 3D Vision tho!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute hidden gem, the gameplay rewards aggression and it fixes one of the main annoyances with other bullet hell/twin sticks: tiny weak enemies barely do any damage to you! - these enemies are typically impossible to see when you get far into other games in the genre, and it's really frustrating when they deal a whole heart of damage. The visuals are astonishing, and somehow the game runs smoother and quieter BY FAR than all the 2d games with basic graphics Only gripe so far is that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Normally, I don't review games of this size, however, I'm making this exception because the devs listened to the communities complaints regarding the achievements and actually decreased the points required. I get 100% in games I enjoy to show appreciation and was discouraged at the massive 1 billion points required for 100%. Props to Igrek Games and I will definitely look for more games in the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great, mostly mindless arcade game. Starts to get old around the 6 hour mark, for me. But hey, at full price, that's a dollar per hour!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Joguinho legal de mais! Um tipo de 'Vampire Survivors' minimalista. E o jogo suporta 3 jogadores. Depois que eu tiver a oportunidade de jogar com amigos atualizo a análise
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I spent a whopping $1 on this game. I have played it for 123 hours as I write this review. Classic goal get the highest score you can... just 1 more run... maybe this will be the one...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was really hoping that this could be the next Crimson Land - a simple but satisfying mouse and keyboard shooter. Sadly, the lack of variety in the enemies and weapons, combined with the bizarre decision to have both ammo and overheating limit players meant that I got bored very quickly. There are some good ideas here, and it can definitely be fun for a while. But it's missing the special something to keep you coming back over and over again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like the style , i like the simplicity , i like the gameplay people are misleading this is NOT a twin stick shooter ... you shoot with RT .. 3 keys are involved
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an absolutely great game! You are a blue diamond block. Your only objective? Survive. I've only played this as a one player mode, so I'll speak to it at mostly that level. Its so much fun to log onto this game for a few minutes, and run around destroying red blocks for as long as I can survive. There's definitely an element of skill to it, but even if you don't really know what you're doing you'll still have fun. And if you die? Well, you can start again! Over and over. The graphics are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really addicting gameplay. The game looks great, is simple and smooth. if you like twin-stick-shooters, this is for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's just using basic unity cube shapes...but holy crap, it shows how mechanics are everything when it comes to fun gameplay. Simple to learn, yet punishingly addictive. It's a buy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A minimalist clean design twin stick shooter. If you played lots of Crimsonland, you gonna feel at home here. Awesome soundtrack and epic slow motion. Definitely recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really nice, simple and fun pick up n play twin stick shooter. Really easy on the eye graphics helps with the cool effects and explosions. Defo pick this up and its a real nice low price as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, reminds me of Swarmlake
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its on sale for 64c atm. Thats a really good price for a aesthetically pleasing twin stick shooter. Nice enough music, sounds effects etc. I like they warp the sound with bullet time. Its core gameplay loop can be well understood in 5 min - its just more of this over time. Its lacking long term progression so that "5 min loop" is what you get. Im happy enough with it for 64c. Things I like Aesthetically pleasing graphics Enemies and objects get destroyed into chunks - its great eye candy.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its alright not that fun perma death not cool refunding
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Addictive. Really great for a break from FPS and VR titles. Reminds me of old school Robotron.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kaboom? Yes Rico, Kaboom!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a great game to kill time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good should have won
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really fun and addictive little roguelite. Very easy to understand and get the hold on, yet also extremely difficult and challenging. It even allows for 3 player co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game reminds me of my childhood back in the 60s of 92, very bien. Macho cool sauce. I hope everyone who invented this soucy macho amazing game gets a pay raise 10x. Enjoy cool beans.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is irritatingly close to being a good game. You just need to give players an actual skill tree between runs instead of just unlocking the persistent progress in a linear fashion. Either that or a purchasing system like the one in Megabonk or Vampire Survivors. Either would work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gimme a controller and I'll play this whole day
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little time killer. Controls and premise are simple, but gameplay is still enjoyable. The game runs just fine even with large quantities of enemies on screen.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't believe how addicting this game is considering how bad I am at it.
