Desperado
El Mariachi plunges headfirst into the dark border underworld when he follows a trail of blood to the last of the infamous Mexican drug lords, Bucho, for an action-packed, bullet-riddled showdown. With the help of his friend and a beautiful bookstore owner, El Mariachi tracks Bucho, takes on his army of desperados, and leaves his own trail of blood. From TMDB

Just an incredible display of action directing and editing - it made me feel like a sugar-rushed thirteen-year-old again. Every ten minutes DESPERADO has a moment or touch that made me whisper "bad ass."

It was the first I bought on DVD back when it was a new and expensive format, because I saw there was a Desperado / El Mariachi double-sided DVD available for the same price as other DVDs I was considering.
