I don't mean the *worst,* but the one with the biggest unrealized potential? for me it's Deathloop, absolutely banger idea, cracking music and aesthetics, but totally threw away its core premise by not actually *using* time properly
unlabelledView post →Happy August, everybody, I just whomped up another cover song, this one of a song from the video game "Deathloop." It's a love song! Isn't that nice? Please enjoy, and welcome to month eight. youtu.be/RcISaOrJal0

Mirror's Edge did it, Control and Alan Wake 2 did it, Hitman3 and 007 First Light did it. We could toss in the Dishonored games, Prey and Deathloop while we're at it.
unlabelledView post →The end of the game is a mess but I really appreciate what they were trying for in Deathloop. They swung for the fences. One of the few games to pull off 60s mod well.
unlabelledView post →this also really pissed me off about Deathloop, because it *should* have been a game in actual time, or close to! One that essentially made the idea of the speed run the game, a sandbox where you could experiment with ridiculous stuff.
unlabelledView post →I was very proud to stand on stage at the game awards in Los Angeles as we accepted an award on behalf of the “DEATHLOOP” team. I was proud to do so while wearing my trans pride colors big and clear for the world to see. 20/24
unlabelledView post →"Stealth technically optional but so strongly encouraged that you should forget about the fact we put guns in the game" games like Deathloop really whet my appetite for Bethesda games, shitty as they are. Having stealth *AND* weapons feels great. Being forced to choose one or the other is no fun.

unlabelledView post →I've been playing Deathloop again lately and i am Surprised by how many people are still out there invading games as Julianna. It's happened to me like 4 times. Who is opening this game and pressing "invade" and waiting at that matchmaking screen. I was sure it'd be all over by now

Squid Game, Survivor, Battle Royale, Lost, Deathloop, Control, and Severance form the touchstones for this dystopian game of competition, paranoia, and control. www.backerkit.com/c/evil-hat/d...

unlabelledView post →Yesterday was five years since the release of Deathloop. I was really happy to be a freelance writer on that project. Such a wonderful team and game.
unlabelledView post →Talking about Deathloop this week led me to find a few cut PSAs by the pretentious game designer Visionary, Charlie Montague.
unlabelledView post →Jeez, my mentions are still a constant deluge of hot & cold comments. Wildly oscillating between 'Deathloop is one of the coolest games I've ever played' and 'Deathloop was complete garbage'. As a huge fan of it, I really do feel like some people played a different game to me.
unlabelledView post →I made the situationship start playing Deathloop and I forgot how genuinely good as hell that game is
unlabelledView post →Dishonoured 2 and Deathloop inspire me above any other game in existence. Dishonoured 2 got a shoutout during my wedding speech because my husband and I both have such admiration for the art direction and game design. Arkane Lyon can bottle magic when left alone to do what it does best.
unlabelledView post →Deathloop was a pretty fun take on this. Just with more sandbox immersive sim type puzzles than adventure game ones.
unlabelledView post →This conversation pit from Deathloop (a game with some top tier interior decoration) raises an important question: why the hell did we stop putting conversation pits in houses.
unlabelledView post →Deathloop is great, a really fun game that lets you feel clever when you figure things out. (And you do have to figure a bunch of stuff out.)
unlabelledView post →Starting my like...once-a-year replay of Deathloop It's such a charming game
unlabelledView post →Deathloop is free on Epic at the moment. I liked that game a LOT.

unlabelledView post →at the end of the day, Deathloop is just a game about a guy who got kicked out of the group chat.
unlabelledView post →Honestly think it was Deathloop. Hugely slept on game, fun protagonist and really interesting design. I’m a person who really like depth in a game loop rather than breadth, and having to learn the intricacies of like five big levels and how they interact was awesome
unlabelledView post →I've never seen more people be wrong about a game than Deathloop, I truly don't understand it. Flawed, sure, but so compelling and goddamn FUN. One that's stuck with me heavily.

unlabelledView post →Started Deathloop... again 😁 There's so much I really enjoyed about this game when I originally tried it, especially the aesthetics! And Colt! And unique gameplay mechanics! And soundtrack!
unlabelledView post →Colt's so open to being tickled silly, his plump feet are so hard to ignore, he's gonna be getting multiple sessions of exploring how ticklish his body really is. Colt Vahn from the game Deathloop #malefeet #maletickling #tickleart
unlabelledView post →Deathloop from Arkane is 5 years old! Concept art for the game was shared in The Art of Deathloop, as well as some narrative artwork that acts as a prequel to the game. The book lets you enjoy the designs before you jump back in for another loop!

unlabelledView post →Been playing a lot of DEATHLOOP recently and had to pay my friend a visit in his game..
unlabelledView post →KILL!!!!! KILL THE DEATHLOOP!! ♾️ p.s If you make a game and call it DEATHLOOP then make damn sure it doesn’t crash just about every fucking time just when the game loop gets started m’kay??! That’s just mind fucking people with irony. #gamedev #indiedev #gaming #godcat & #magicalreddot #cats

unlabelledView post →I feel bad picking Deathloop from the perspective of its level designers. I didn't like that game that much, but I'm guessing the original design had more creative plans deemed "too different" by management, hah

unlabelledView post →Decided to give Deathloop another try! So far I'm enjoying it alot more now that I know what to expect from the game. #blutoid
unlabelledView post →Got Deathloop free on Epic awhile ago and decided to play through it. Game was really cool and the lore goes deep as hell. Definitely connected to Dishonored in more ways than I expected lol
unlabelledView post →Playing through Deathloop is definitely one of the most memorable experiences I ever had. And getting that perfect ending loop was so worth it. Also the world was just so thick with environmental storytelling and interesting details that left me longing for more. What a game

unlabelledView post →I usually lose interest in a game for one reason or another before the difficulty stops me. Deathloop is a notable exception.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, Deathloop had a cool concept and some things going for it but I really had to push myself through the 2nd half of the game. The Dishonored are top!
unlabelledView post →Deathloop. Frustrating gameplay progression, toxic online tryhard raiders, unsatisfying gunplay, bullet sponge enemies, and despite the entire premise of the game, very little in the way of creative problem solving. It fees like Arkane did Dishonored then phoned it in.
unlabelledView post →when they do work, Deathloop invasions are such a good transcription into PvP of The Imsim Mindset(tm). every time a julianna popped up in my game my mind was racing trying to outsmart her with stupid mind games and by exploiting every game mechanic I could. it feels so cerebral I love it
unlabelledView post →Reminding myself that although they are obscure, and it would take years of hard work for me to ever make a game like these in #Godot #GodotEngine, but I really love #ImmersiveSims like #DeathLoop and #CrueltySquad

unlabelledView post →Imagine making Dishonored, Prey, and Deathloop and just getting tossed aside because the live-service vampire game your owners wanted didn't sell.
unlabelledView post →I've spent such an amazing time on Deathloop! It's still a game I think about, and the first in this genre I've tried!
unlabelledView post →Deathloop was a really well-made enjoyable game - great job 😁
unlabelledView post →Honestly though, when I played Deathloop (or rather ""DEATHLOOP"", hehe) when I saw that one computer guy standing next to the window, I KNEW there must be a high up spot that allows me to snipe him now I snipe him every time I play the game :D
unlabelledView post →1) Lost Crown is still really good but God damn does some of the puzzles in that game make me feel stupid. 2) Metro Exodus is still one of the best to ever do it, love that game to death. 3) Bought a PlayStation Sharpshooter to play Deadstorm Pirates. That's next, then Chrono & Deathloop.
unlabelledView post →why is Deathloop still 60 dollars??? that game came out Five Years Ago!!!!!!!!
unlabelledView post →This is literally why I couldn't finish Deathloop. Such a hecking rad game, but with it not being able to pause, and a run (in a STEALTH game) taking ages to slowly pick through, no way to save, and (run-based) perma-death just... ruined it for me. *LET ME PAUSE THE GAME*
