unlabelledView post →Thinking about this game again and how shockingly decent it was. Basically just a Micro Machines/Death Rally clone but with really crunchy graphics, it played well enough and I enjoyed it. Shame about the box art though...or maybe bless?

unlabelledView post →I don't know why I never really liked top-down racing games. Except for the legendary Death Rally! (1996, MS-DOS). It looked amazing and still does today, the gameplay was everything you wish. Just a brillant game. #retrogaming #retrogames
unlabelledView post →Death Rally was the first Remedy game I've played... put a lot of hours into that thing
unlabelledView post →30 years ago today (6 Sep 1996), the first game from @remedygames.com and @apogeeent.com was released - Death Rally. Was a fun as hell top down racing game, which even managed to work Duke Nukem into it as one of the racers. The OG game is still available free on Steam today. Happy Birthday DR!
unlabelledView post →Heya folks, here's the intro to Death Rally by Remedy Entertainment and Apogee Software. This'll be the final feature for this game, since I've featured everything else already. #deathrally #videogames #retrogames #racinggames #intro
unlabelledView post →Been replaying the port of Death Rally, a game I was obsessed with on iOS when it came out in 2011. Not only a fascinating snapshot of the time (Brian Crecente, GTTV Geoff Keighley, and John Gore from Minigore are guests), has a really addictive upgrade loop and design from an era pre-Candy Crush.
unlabelledView post →25 GREAT 1990s SHAREWARE #VIDEOGAMES 23. Death Rally Remedy was formed by a bunch of Finnish modscene creators to create games, and their debut, Death Rally, offered a top-down racing shooter experience (and even guest-starred Duke Nukem!). It's often compared to GTA, but Death Rally came first!
unlabelledView post →9. Control. I have been Remedy fan since Death Rally and Max Payne and have played everything they've made, but i gotta say it: Control is Remedy at it's most experimental, weirdest and coolest. This game is must play, and yeah obviously play Alan Wake 2 as well!
unlabelledView post →Demanding that DEATH RALLY (which, as it turns out, is the first Remedy game I ever played) also be in the same universe
unlabelledView post →And it was an absolute majestic trip down and through memory lane and childhood avenue! Games like Death Rally, Commander Keen, Trivia games and more! Mmh, good times! Especially Death Rally & RISE OF THE TRIAD: Dark War! #RetroGaming #Retro #VideoGameClassics #ApogeeSoftware

unlabelledView post →So, Death Rally, why did your OST came into my mind suddenly? Such a good game...
unlabelledView post →Death Rally was awesome and the only game I ever got caught playing in school. I put it on a computer in French class so I could play it on the TV he had hooked up to it. Worth it!
unlabelledView post →i am now having to sort through the wikipedia pages for Every Racing Game Released Before Remedy's Death Rally to see if they were indeed the first to have campaign events and submissions in races, and if theyre the first to do the KILL YOUR COMPETITORS ON THE TRACK TO WIN >:D combat racing thing

unlabelledView post →Other faves of mine include Jonne "Purple Motion" Valtonen (scored the main half of Future Crew's 2nd Reality demo, Remedy's Death Rally and the Kotijäätelö-distributed puzzle game Drop Mania), Peter "Skaven" Hajba (contributed Razorback to UT99) and Jussi "Elwood" Salmela

unlabelledView post →just generally. im doing a video about Remedy and i THINK Death Rally was the first to do a lot of things but im not a racing game buff to know for sure.
unlabelledView post →Death Rally (Classic). A legendary Remedy game, I used to play this all day long with my friends when I was a kid. Obviously, we only had the demo version, so gaming was limited, but it didn't matter. TODAY I finished the game for the first time! It's free: store.steampowered.com/app/358270/D...
unlabelledView post →Oh hey, it's the next Remedy game i will be absolutely obsessed with! They just never miss* and I love their aesthetics and writing style <3 (*with their mainline games. I haven't played Death Rally or Firebreak, and American Nightmare was meh. Buuut anything big they make is excellent)
unlabelledView post →For a split second I thought it was Remedy's Death Rally cover art, but its not. I don't think I've ever seen this game, and to hear it ran on the Mechwarrior 2 engine(ish)? Thats kinda rad!
unlabelledView post →This is an insane deal on all of these- Death Rally is the only remedy game I’ve never played- time to spend a dollar of my own hard earned cash
unlabelledView post →I still play Death Rally once in a while, and really ought to get it set up for the right frame rate on screens that'll do 70Hz. For the mid-to-late 90s, anyone with the sense to hire tracker people to do their soundtrack was getting great work and probably getting the rest of the game right too...
unlabelledView post →I can say now I have played Remedy's first game, Death Rally. 🏎️ Not a game for me but hey, it was worth a shot. It's free to own on Steam if anyone is curious. Now I just need to give Quantum Break another shot and then FINALLY play Alan Wake II for the FIRST time. 🔦
unlabelledView post →I was gonna play it as soon as I bought it but I didn’t for whatever reason. I wanna give Quantum Break another chance. It’s the only Remedy game (other than Death Rally) that I haven’t finished. So I do wanna try QB again before AW2 even tho technically I don’t have to.
unlabelledView post →I do t remember the name, but it was that weird little Mario Kart game you guys made for DOS back in the day. That, or Death Rally.
unlabelledView post →An old DOS game called Death Rally. The pre-rendered animations are the .haf files in the game dir. The .bpa files are archives of up to 255 files. moddingwiki.shikadi.net/wiki/Death_R...
unlabelledView post →Actually, now that I listened to the soundtrack, its very much like Death Rally... has the Remedy classic been an inspiration for this game? If so, consider adding weapons, because that was the infuriating but fun part of DR.
unlabelledView post →You know what would be neat? A "Remedy Arcade" compilation game. Include AWAN, Death Rally, horde mode versions of Remedy's many musical levels, more Time Breaker arcade levels, Ahti-themed power washing sim, and so much more...
unlabelledView post →Camera will stay behind car that's why it's fully 3D unless do something like Death Rally but game has high speed so any camera except from behind car is gonna cause more troubles than being just stylistic choice
unlabelledView post →OMG please yes!! I want to play Death Rally multiplayer with people, it is my absolute favorite DOS game. I literally played it last night.
unlabelledView post →(gonna number these now because I keep forgetting how many i've responded to. xD) 7) Time for something more obscure! I love this little old game called Death Rally. Short, simple, but fun to occasionally go back to and play through again~💜
unlabelledView post →I really dislike a trend that existed a few years ago of going after full price games for being "too short" without addressing if the game is fun to replay. I have played more hours and finished games like the original Death Rally and Streets of Rage 2 more times than something like Watchdogs.
unlabelledView post →Welcome to Super Star Kart (project name)! It's my 2D kart game inspired by childhood classic titles, like GeneRally, Death Rally and others... Unlock new parts and paints by playing. Create your own tracks and play online. Dedicated server software included. 😎 Coming soon...
unlabelledView post →28) Death Rally (1996) Remedy's first game! This took over 5 years for me to beat, on and off, but I spent most of my time with the game this year. It was a lot of fun to experience Remedy's roots from death in the fast lane!
unlabelledView post →And, now that I'm not playing it and being shot through walls by enemies clipping through doors, I can forgive this game's problems. 2001 was still kind of the Wild West for 3D games, and it was Remedy's first game that wasn't Death Rally.

unlabelledView post →I always enjoyed the final boss in Death Rally: it comes up unexpectedly if you don't know the game, you're locked into it as soon as you hit 1st place, bespoke track/car/music, and you have to win on skill b/c the boss (just a faceless guy named "Adversary") has all the material advantages.
unlabelledView post →Played a little Death Rally (classic) last night. One of my favorite games from ~30 years ago. It holds up, still a fun game. Although the experience is a little different playing it on a 38" widescreen vs a 14" Adi ProVista 😬
unlabelledView post →Hi @remedygames.com, been a fan of your works since Death Rally! I'm currently enjoying the absolute blast that is Alan Wake 2 and I was wondering: have you considered doing a DLSS 4.5 patch for the game? Looking forward to Control Resonant!
unlabelledView post →My kingdom for a CIB copy of Death Rally! (Please note: my kingdom does not include my game collection, vinyl, movies, books, any of my clothes except those I don’t want anymore, my car, my house, or my pets. Any debt I have is up for grabs, however.)
unlabelledView post →Heya folks, here's a gameplay short featuring the 1996 top-down racing game Death Rally by Apogee Software and Remedy Entertainment. NGL, getting a video this good took me numerous attempts because I'm not really used to top-down racers. Fun game once you get the hang of it, though.

unlabelledView post →The flavor text in Death Rally (their first game) really sets well a mood at time a game like that would probably have nothing or just mid 90s Rad lingo, thankfully someone thought "what if I gave Sami a call?".
unlabelledView post →Death Rally needs to come back for real (that shitty mobile game doesn't count)
unlabelledView post →While it wasn't the developer's first game (that being Death Rally), their sophomore work Max Payne put Finnish-based Remedy Entertainment on the map. What game hasn't used Bullet Time mechanic at this point?
unlabelledView post →i have never heard of Death Rally until recently, but i played this a lot as a kid youtu.be/hrGNBe_6zbo?...
unlabelledView post →Death Rally was Remedy's breakthrough game, later made Max Payne and Alan Wake. Old but worthwhile checking for near perfect difficulty progression curve and 90's aesthetics (Remedy had demoscene roots). Head and shoulders above Micro M imho. Ik devs hate this kinda feedback but nevertheless.👍
unlabelledView post →Looks good. Reminds me of how Death Rally stood out at the time. Only thing is, there are already 3 games named Adrift. One of them is my favorite VR game, and although they spell it with a 1, if you search for "adrift steam"- it comes up first. store.steampowered.com/app/300060/A...
unlabelledView post →Seems fun, but will be the first Remedy game since Death Rally that I'll never play since there's no single-player.

unlabelledView post →Death Rally in 6th. Remedy was doing well with their first game.
unlabelledView post →Sam Lake is a game designer who’s games I have been playing since Death Rally, but Alan Wake is the series that has me yelling at movie friends that games have the potential to surpass cinema as an artform. He (and Remedy) make the games I’d dream of making. Also Lake House is out tonight…
unlabelledView post →Per Wikipedia their first game was Death Rally and I’m pleased to say: that game also slaps. Bangers all the way down.
