The "Death In Paradise" model. The pairing made logical sense in that show and it showed the white male as eccentric rather than an incompetent buffoon. All changed now though, the only time you see white people is trying to work out which evil white person committed murder.

Do you know what I love about the TV detective series 'Death in Paradise'? Almost every episode opens with a shocking murder, and then, without warning, the opening credits roll in with the most cheerful, optimistic, upbeat tune imaginable. Has anyone else noticed that? 😆
