So like aside from that being hot as hell it also means there are some women who aren't disappointed in me which might be the best thing anyone's ever said to me. I feel like someone just called me a good dog. My tail is wagging. I like to keep a save just before their boss fight so they can beat me up…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall: 8.5/10 Story: I remember playing this game back on PS3 and while I wouldn't consider the narrative to be all that thought provoking or groundbreaking, I still found it surprisingly enjoyable all these years later. What it lacks in originality, it makes up for with a strong sense of personality and a story that's very easy to get invested in. Chuck is a cool protagonist because, besides being a badass former motocross champion, his motivations of keeping his daughter safe and clearing…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would benefit from a proper remaster! Still a fantastic game and even better with a friend to enjoy. I remember playing this back in the day with my cousin countless times. From combining different weapons to trying out different clothes, the fun was endless. They should also finally add the two standalone DLC's Case Zero and Case West.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Does not have proper controller support, atleast none that function without modding.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steam says its supports controllers there's even a option in the main menu of the game but it's greyed out another game that Capcom seem to want to f up with and it's a joke trying to get a controller to work so I didn't bother thank god I didnt buy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't recommend. Controller support requires downloading and using third party software.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most of the negative reviews comes from the lack of controller support. Which nearly made me pass this game but thankfully tried it out due to loving the first one (OG). Chuck is a great dad.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most have been great, back when it came out. The story is fun in a ridiculous, over-the-top anime way. But holy hell, zero controller support at all. They just didn't bother implementing it for PC, and it doesn't seem like Capcom or whoever handles this ancient port gives a damn about updating it. You're forced into mouse & keyboard, which feels downright awful. Movement is clunky as hell, combat is stiff and unresponsive, and everything just feels off. Timed missions are everywhere,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lack of controller support. i aint jumping through the hoops needed to jury rig my PC into making it work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its 2026 and no controller support for a 2010 game what so ever is just shameful. Please do what i should of and do not buy this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Rising 2 was fun, but definitely missing that Frank West addition. I found Green to be a fantastic protagonist as well, however. The comedy is still present from the first, the silliness and over the top zombie slaying. I absolutely love the gifting of the daughter, as I am sure Chuck would be the worst father of the year for one of those gifts in particular. I was anxious to see if she was still there in the security room with each visit back. I guess that was a good kitty after all.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is completely broken the only hope of this game being fixed is if a community of modders reverse engineered this game as its sadly just a broken mess no modern control support and audio is now broken possibly due to modern windows updates breaking its compatiblity even more (UPDATE THE PC GAMING WIKI HAS SOME PATCHES)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many technical issues to recommend - controller issues, strange visual artifacts in menus when playing on higher resolutions, random crashes etc. You can fix most of the issues with community patches and workarounds, but at that point why give money to the people who don't care about keeping their own game playable? If you do get it, it keeps a lot of the elements from dead rising 1 intact, but just slightly neuters most of them. The game is generally easier, the plot is wackier, the timer…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →probably one of my favorite games of all time. sucks no one plays it anymore, I crave a co-op lobby with my OGs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a perfect sequel in every sense it kept everything that made the first game special and made it 10x better than before. also in my personal opinion i prefer Chuck over Frank but both are still goated protaganists. the story isnt anything too special but thats not the point in a dead rising game. The game is hella fun and probably the most fun zombie game you can ever play. the combo weapons alone kept the game fresh and fun for me and makes me prefer this over dead rising 1…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i understand that by the time im writing this review, i dont have many hours on this game but LEMME TELL YOU, if xbox could count your hours on dr2, itd be through the roof (im an xbox native, immigrating to pc) this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece and then some. God had every hand in the creation of this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After many hours of trying to fix this game, I have found the solution! If the game looks way too bright, and constantly dims and undims itself making it borderline unplayable then do the following. 1. Google " Dr2Fixmod " and download the ZIP from the Github Page 2. EXTRACT the downloaded ZIP to your DR2 directory ( can be found by using steam to browse local game files ) 3. In the ZIP file there is a folder that says " Shaders " in this folder there are 2 files. One for the base game and one…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On the fence about this one, it's fun to play but the PC port is awful. Controllers don't work despite being listed as supported, game crashes randomly, the colour grading is incorrect, sound volume is too low, and sometimes the game doesn't even launch. It's good fun but be ready to deal with random tech issues.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead Rising 2 is a very fun game that is sadly a broken mess on PC. It was built for older hardware AND was a game that held it's foundation upon Games for Windows Live which is deprecated. I've had the pleasure to experience the game in co-op with a friend who helped work out any technical issues, but even then it's hard to get the game to function. Even with community fixes, workarounds and expert help you're gonna have plenty of crashes and bugs and other nasty issues because Capcom didn't…

I would easily sink copious amounts of money and time into this game if you just added controller support. I will also change my review for this game because this game is good, but it being played on keyboard is just so disappointing. The shenanigans and goofiness of this game is incredibly charming and keeps you coming back to play with friends or just solo. The one thing that all draws them away is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I first bought the game to help my boyfriend with the coop achievements because he's attempting to do them all. i wasnt expecting to enjoy it as much as i did since usually am not a fan of these type of games but i havee never enjoyed a game so much theres so much content, the suspense is wonderful, the combat is great. the few criticisms i have is the lag in coop, for some reason is seems to be that the only way you can even join coop is if you are pure of heart because so many people struggle…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is just broken and Crapcom never even tried to fix it. It's shameful that they even still sell it. Do you want to play with a controller? Too bad! You have to download a 3rd party mod. Not because the options are not in the game, but because it is broken and doesn't work. OK, so play with a mouse and keyboard, right? Nope! There is negative mouse acceleration and the only way to fix that is downloading a 3rd party mod. Crapcom is truly a terrible company.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really wish this game had some sort of 3D mode, I'd love to have Chuck Greene's giant nose protrude out of my screen so I can just lean in and start sucking
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of my most favorite games of all time story line PEAK characters PEAK boss fights PEAK gambiling PEAK
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can get past the super annoying controller support issues, the game is great
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The dead rising 3 steam port despite all it's issues is actually playable but Dead Rising 2? Completely unplayable on Windows 10 it just completely freezes on launch and none of the fixes worked for me. So yes it is a good game just not the steam version unfortunately.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nostalgic game but only for the patience cuz damn why cant we sprint
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't remember this game having controller support issues when I played it a couple of years ago, but it has a serious issue now with controller support. There is a setting in "PC Settings" to enable controller support, but it is always greyed out. Even attempting to use a mouse and keyboard controller layout does not resolve issues, the camera is extremely janky and unpredictable and is a serious disadvantage when up against hordes of real-time enemies. Supposedly there is a fix online…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game but the fact that it takes jumping through multiple hoops trying to get a controller to work and still failing just sucks. Seems like all Capcom games of the 360 era aren't worth buying as they don't work anymore or controller support is a nightmare. Co-op barely functions at all with lots of disconnects and your DLC will constantly get corrupted if you have your game files on a HDD. The PC controls can be terrible. Off the Record is just better than this in my opinion.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game. My one gripe is that Case Zero and Case West aren't available on PC. Both are canon and necessary to the narrative of the series (particularly Case West). DR2 is my favorite in the series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →absolute ♥♥♥♥, cannot get any controller to work no matter what I do, do not buy this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who wants to stream through Dead Rising 2 or Dead Rising 2 off the record with me in co-op? I really want to play through the games. #deadrising2 #deadrising2otr #vtuber #raccoon #lookingforgroup

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, let's get something out of the way, Dead Rising 2 does a couple of things better than the first Dead Rising title. First off, survivors. They are far easier to manage in this game which is a welcome change for ME. However, I could see why some people may find escorting missions easier than how they should be. I feel like they could not find the ideal balance in difficulty when it comes escorting missions. Again, this is a good thing for me. Escorting missions are way too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game, but a really bad port, I can't play this on my Steam Deck which is a shame, coz I played the first one on my Steam Deck. Maybe thats why it feels very weird controlling it with my controller instead of my steam deck, idk. The game is always on full screen, cannot go windowed or borderless window. I can only assume blame is on Games for Windows (even at death it still annoys me). This one definitely deserve a remaster not because its outdated more because this is just a bad…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two dads searching for a fix for their junkie daughter while gambling, killing freakazoids and suffering from FOMO and anxiety The biggest cons are performing "send this message to 5 friends and clap 3 times" ritual every time to join a friend's game and lowering fps to get rid of desync
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →any game where you can get hit over and over while having no option for intervention (i.e. enemies spam attacks while you're in a vulnerable recovery animation) is objectively bad.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Revisited and gotta say the game is still excellent and probably the best Dead Rising game. It's fun, has a great story and wacky yet serious gameplay. The difficulty was perfect minus survivors just being a little way too OP. (Not once did they ever drop below half health even on day 3) I do wish NG+ scaled with being level 50 since it's a very fun game to replay. The PC port needs a few fixes before it's playing. Dead Rising 1 was great but shows age, 2 is near perfect. Just a shame going…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely my favorite of the franchise, played the entire thing with a buddy of mine and if you plan to do the same lock the game at 60 fps otherwise it'll desync and get all wonky between you two. Another issue from the co-op side is when your friend leaves or disconnects they lose all the items so whenever you are loading back into the game to continue your friend needs to make a few pitstops, but other than i loved the psychos and I missed Frank but Chuck was good enough and I loved his…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My brother bought a copy of the game for both him and I when he saw the game was on sale in order to replay through it mounths after playing it for the first time together on Xbox one... Imagine our disapointement when we saw that Capcom didn't have the brain power necessary to think people might like using a controler on a game that was exclusive to console to begin with... he could refund the his copy but not mine so all we had was a big disapointement and a useless copy we'll never use…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was very meh in 2010 and is an even bigger let down now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I appreciate that this game matches the original's production values so closely. It's like Ghostbusters 2, or Predator 2. Not as good as the original but of the same time and a similar style, unlike modern sequels of older movies that seem like they're from an entirely different continuity. And it does a few things better than the original. The playground is a bit bigger and more diverse. NPCs don't die nearly as easily as they did in Dead Rising 1. And it brings forward so much of what was…
